Love the little app whose graphics…
Love the little app whose graphics display what’s happening with the myenergi tech fitted by UPS Solar down the side of my house house to make everything connect.

Initially I had a few problems trying to understand the video clip on you tube, but the guy giving instructions was talking to fast. I was left to call the company but had to go through the normal process of pressing options button which went round in circles..has problems connecting to wifi,eventually I ran data cable which automatically connects you to myenergi..then I was able to be connected to right technical person for me to log on the system. The staff were very good in explaining what I should do. The eddy is very good much like my emmersun unit but it failed after 11 years. The app is very good.

Simple operation
Simple operation, does everything we require. Would be nice if I did have to be hard wired and had a 32amp plug and gpo.
This way if it ever needs replacing I won’t need an electrician to do so

The charger works well, but the app is quite 'glitchy' unfortunately. Hopefully a future update will resolve this soon.

The installation engineer could not get…
The installation engineer could not get the zappi to go live and had to order a replacement device which started straight away. Not his fault of course but just ment a delay in getting started.
Otherwise all good so far.

I got this EV charger because I have had one before
I got this EV charger because I have had it the past and loved the app. This time though, the app is displaying wrong data. I do not yet have panels or batteries, yet the graph and data displays exporting activity. I am hoping this is wrong and that I am not buying power and immediately exporting it. I don’t even have an export tariff, so that situation would be very alarming.
I hope you are interested in my feedback and that someone contacts me over this.

I am sorry to hear that the app is displaying incorrect data, particularly as you have used a myenergi charger before and had a positive experience.
From your description, my first thought is that the issue may be related to the grid CT clamp. If the CT clamp has been installed facing the wrong direction or is positioned incorrectly, it can cause the system to interpret imported energy as exported energy, resulting in graphs and data that do not accurately reflect what is happening at your property.
Have you raised a support ticket via support.myenergi.com or contacted our support team on 0333 300 1303? If so, please let me know your ticket number and I will be happy to take a look.
The good news is that, based on what you have described, this sounds more like a configuration or installation issue rather than a fault with the charger itself.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your solar panels. However, I should clarify that we are the manufacturer of the eddi and are not responsible for the operation or performance of the solar PV panels themselves.
As the issue appears to be with the solar generation system, I would recommend contacting the original installer or the manufacturer of the solar equipment, as they will be best placed to diagnose why the panels are not generating power.
If, once the solar issue has been resolved, you require any assistance with the eddi itself, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll be more than happy to help.

Faulty Zappi charger
I had been waiting since the 19th August for the faulty Zappi to be replaced.
Apparently the fault was closed on the system when I chased the first time.
Also, another delay was the replacement Zappi was sent to the wrong address.

Honestly, the app set up is awful. I’m a millennial who should be used to tech and apps but even I’ve struggled with this one.
How hard can it be to simply have a bluetooth connection button on the zappi glo without turning the isolater off?
