I purchased Billie refills from Amazon…Billie made it right!

I purchased Billie refills from Amazon as I needed then asap. Normally my daughter purchases them directly with Billie. I called Billie first as this was the first time in years that their product didn't perform. They weren't interested in discussing the problem at all. The rep advised to contact Amazon. If you're truly concerned about product performance and customer retention, speak directly with that consumer that has an issue with your product. Without satisfied customers you have no business. Apparently Billie is so big now, they can't take the time to deal with their consumer.
As of today, I'm pleased to report that Billie did reach out to me & has made the unacceptable purchase right. I'm very happy to see that they do resolve a bad experience.

No courtesy emails for subscription service!

I never write reviews here but I'm thoroughly fed up with Billie's "subscription" service. I've been using Billie razors for years and I love them and their shave foam and body buffer bar. However, once you set up a subscription Billie will just charge you when the time comes, without sending out a courtesy email first asking if you're ready to be charged for an order or if you want to make any changes or skip a shipment. I've emailed them about this before and the service rep said "Yeah we can definitely send you a courtesy email next time" but they didn't. So I've had to cancel my "subscription" and since there's no way to just place an order without subscribing (seriously, why not??) this means when I need more supplies I'll have to create a subscription, let it ship, and cancel that subscription. It's so irritating.

deceptive business practices

Good products. Poor customer service. I had a refill subscription plan set up but the refills always ship without any email telling you they are going to ship and giving you the option to change the ship date or skip a shipment. So I would try to remember on my own but half the time I couldn’t get the website to work on mobile or desktop to change the subscription ship date. I had to email customer service to ask them why their website wasn’t working. Instead of answering that question they just changed the ship date on their end which didn’t fix the real problem. I also asked why they didn’t send an email ahead of ship date like other companies with subscriptions. The customer service rep replied and said, “sure we can send you an email ahead of time” which seemed like a bizarre response. I was skeptical that they would and they did not. So after the next shipment with no warning I canceled my subscription. I don’t remember exactly what I had to do but I do remember it was excruciating trying to figure out how to actually get it cancelled, but I finally did. Now three months later I just got another email that my subscription order has been processed! I logged into my account and it still says my subscription is inactive but for some reason they have processed it anyway. Waiting to hear back from customer service again but what a nightmare.

Took THREE EFFORTS to cancel my subscription, I had to email, Instagram message and use the bot to get it to finally happen. The 'how to cancel' section on their FAQ takes you to a 'not found' page. Sleezy, scummy, fraud-y trash and so different from their advertising.

Billie should stick to producing razors and blades and leave the shipping to Target!

Love the razor---hate the shipping and the contact information which is non-existent beyond an electronic messaging service tied to Windows/Outlook---which will not work unless I give it consent to delete all my emails at Windows' choice. Not on this planet!

The refills have not arrived, in spite of Billie's tracking saying they were delivered two weeks ago. I want an email address and a phone number I can address---or a chat line that does not tell me constantly that they are sorry but they are not online at the moment.
I paused my membership online, and I now plan to cancel the membership immediately. I consider this to be a notice to Billie to that effect, and the first time I see a charge for refills, I will contact my credit card in writing and contest the charge.

I can buy the refills, handles, etc. at Target for the same price. Sounds like a hugely better process than going through this company direct. The razors are good, but no product is that good!

They should fix their shipping method

They should fix their shipping method, because the way they expect customers to blindly believe their shipping method without tracking is bogus. They try to tell us that it's "eco-friendly" which is a bunch of BULL. No trusted company needs to hide tracking, it's ridiculous that they expect customers to blindly follow this, I see you can buy the Flamingo razor in store or online for the same starter price Billie guaranteed.

I wish I could give zero stars!

I wish I could give zero stars!! This is the absolute WORST razor I’ve ever used in my life - not only will the razor itself not stay on the handle part no matter how gentle I am, but I have never experienced razor burn like this ever: you might as well shave with shards of glass before you use this razor. I’m sooooo infuriated that I fell for an influencer product and that’s exactly where this razor should stay - in influencer land, never actually to be used.

I love the razors but I have not…

I love the razors but I have not received my last three orders at all. Tracking on one says it’s still in Portland, OR. There is no tracking on the next one and this latest one says a label has been made two weeks ago but it hasn’t been sent to the post office yet. I will be canceling and spending my money somewhere that actually sends me what I’m paying for.

Terrible, terrible, shipping.

Best razors I've ever used but they have the absolutely WORST shipping. Literal snail mail. I ordered nearly a month ago ago and they still haven't arrived. I specifically ordered them early so they would be here by a certain date but I'm assuming I won't get them in time. All customer service can tell me is that USPS is experiencing delays and ETA may take "a few extra days to arrive." Unless the packages are being delivered on foot I really don't understand why a domestic shipment would take so long?? I've had packages shipped from different countries across the world arrive faster than these blades. And if the number one complaint about your company is the shipping maybe it's time to make a change, perhaps? It almost makes me not want to support this company any longer, but I truly love these razors and just found out that my local Taget has the blades refill, so I'll be canceling my online subscription and purchasing from Taget from now on. I still recommend to fix the shipping as there may be many customers without access to a target and have to rely on your horribly slow shipping. Please do better Billie!

Razors never arrive

I used this subscription for a few months and every month I had to email them to have new blades sent because mine were lost in the mail "due to usps delays". I paid at the beginning of the month and had to ask for new razors ro be sent at the end of the month, weeks after my card had been charged.

They continue to charge me from Jan-22…

They continue to charge me from Jan-22 to Feb-23 for a product I was not receiving. After multiple emails with Billie and multiple disputes with Chase Bank, I needed to sever a 2 decade long relationship with Chase to make it stop. How is this legal?

Beware of being billed after unsubscribing

After twice canceling the subscription to their refills on their site, I was still billed. They have refunded one of those orders. To reinsure not being billed again, I have asked my credit card company to block them from any future charges. It's sad that a company with a good product resorts to such practices.

The razors are good, bad shipping

The razors are good, the shipping is terrible! They claim they ship eco friendly mail that has no tracking number. 18 plus days for delivery from initial shipping is crazy! I work in e-commerce and standard first class mail shipping is 3-6 business days.

Getting extremely annoyed with their slow delivery of refill blades. I get emails every month telling me that my Refill Order of 4 blades is about to ship. Then 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for my refills. It's the same old 'song and dance' every time I email them to find out where my order is: The USPS is slow and experiencing delays, etc. There is something fundamentally wrong with how this company does business or handles their shipping, because no other company I order from is THIS DARN SLOW. I am about to cancel all future orders as I've had enough.

Billing Scam

Billing Scam! It's easy to sign up for Billie but it's impossible to cancel. I've tried contacting the company's customer service multiple times. They respond saying they'll process the cancellation but I keep getting charged every 3 months. I tried inactivating automatic charges via my PayPal account, we'll see if that works. I may also block charges via my credit card as another reviewer did. I highly doubt I'll get a refund but hopefully they won't get any more of my $$$. Never again!

Do not buy razors from Billie

We bought a razor. We didn't want recurring shipments, but they signed us up for that anyway. We called to ask them to stop. They said they would, and that they would refund our money. Our money has not been refunded, so now I have to call my credit card to tell them not to authorize further charges. Bille is either a scam or it's pathetically incompetent.
