Broken Charger, Horrible Customer Service
My charger had broken and when I finally got to speak to a representative to request a new charger be overnighted I was informed that this is not their policy. I asked how I was suppose to charge my hearing aids before the new charger came and the representative was very uncaring and unhelpful. The charger was less than 1 year old as well. Since this was their policy and I had to send my charger back it has been 2 weeks and I still have not received my new charger!! It is already stressful enough needing to hear with the hearing aids and now that I haven't had them for over 2 weeks it has effected my job as well as home life. This is unacceptable and the hear.com company should do better servicing people with hearing impairments.
Non-existent after the sale service when needed.
If you ever have a problem that requires physical repair or replacement of your Hear.com hearing aid be prepared to find out how poor their after the sale service really is. You will be kicking yourself for not purchasing from a local provider. I purchased from Hear.com and they were all ever so friendly and helpful before and during the sale process. Ten moths later I had a problem that required physical repair to one of their top of the line $4200 hearing aids and they were no where to be found.
Emails are returned from an automated service explaining that they are currently experiencing a higher level of calls...and to please be patient. Telephone calls put you on hold only to tell you after waiting for several minutes that they are too busy to take your call and then tell you to try again later before disconnecting the call. When someone finally did call me back after a week they promised to send me the address where I could send my broken hearing aid and then followed through with the address.
Their pricing for a good quality hearing aid is just not that much less that you could find through a local provider for the same product under the real manufacturers name. Hear.com just has them private labelled for themselves to resell under the Hear.com label. This was my first hearing aid purchase and I suspect it will not be my last...but it will definitely be my last through Hear.com. Don't be fooled by their friendly sales reps who are likely working on a substantial sales commission and know they will not have to be involved with you again once the sale is completed. I have been an independent sales rep for over 50 years and if I provided after the sale customer service like Hear.com I would have been out of business after my first year.

A hearing aid is a very personal device that should be fine-tuned to individual, not a cookie-cutter method for every person. We now have a device here that has proven to be malfunctioned but when sent back to them, they simply did a cleaning and mailed it back to us without any follow-up. We did not use common sense when making this purchase, we should have known that online companies like this WILL not be as responsive as what a physical hearing centre can offer. Price-wise, there is no difference if you make the comparison so why let online agents (what they repeatedly claim to be now to push away responsibilities away) like this get the sale when physical hearing centres can offer better services.

I received the call at 10 minutes, the person quickly shared the hearing aids were around $4500 . said he did not know about any promotions, would have someone contact me. these were on german designed hearing aids as advertised for $1500. what a scam.
How to chose a better hearing aids with better facilities
Every year i go for medical check up and i was recommended to wear hearing aids but all the costs and additional benefit are not make know to me until i chose and buy one.
In Hearing Aids, I was told what is the price and how payment can be made. Beside i can up grade my hearing aid, if i feel that the present hearing aid are not suitable.
The 1 week trial is the deciding factor whether the hearing aid is suitable for you to use and Q and A interaction is very usefully.

False & Misleading
I have used hear.com twice and both times were very negative. They refer you to a local audiologist and then they call you several times to remind you of your appointment. One time they called at 9:30pm. After the appointment, they call to follow up. The truth is, you actually purchase the hearing aids from Hear.com, not the local audiologist.

When I found hear.com i wasn't so sure at first but then I spoke to Ms.Paris. She was the adviser that fixed me with an appointment. Not only was i just blindly fitted with one but i was guided through til the end. The best part is she made sure to explain to me everything so that i wasn't in the dark. As a young woman with hearing difficulties i suffered a lot and it nearly cost me my job but now with the right kind of hearing aids I am finally on the right tract in both my career and my personal life. The best part that I enjoyed was the remote fitting that allowed me to fit the hearing aid at my own home without spending money on traveling with their professionals after office hours too. As a working woman i appreciate that the most. I would have never known if hadn't tried it. i can't thank them more

When I registered online & went through consultation with one of the expert named Cassey , I was not fully convinced with the remote fitting.But I really wanted to try it out cause it was for my husband who cant hear clearly & struggling most of the time during conversations.Ms Cassey gave us the trial opportunity & sent the package to our doorstep.I am very impressed with the modern technology that via a simple video connectivity everything could be done.The Audiologist , Ms Mira was very professional & knowledgeable about the device. Trial was very successful & I noticed good changes in my husband.Now i am waiting for the purchased hearing aids to be delivered as full payment done. I would definitely recommend Hear.com to my friends & family whoever seek for a solution for their hearing.Thank you
