Videos are great, I can't wait to pass them on to some of the people in them. They also have people who are, sadly, no longer with us so it was very important to me that this was done right, and it was.

I wanted to get 19 VHS tapes digitised as a present for my wife’s birthday. She is unfortunately in poor health and has not seen these video’s for very many years. Lam was so helpful from our very first telephone contact. He completed the digital transfer of all the video’s within a week, but what was equally impressive was the communication of options and helpful updates and options throughout the process.
The quality of the final images are spectacular and so much better than we ever could have imagined. All 19 tapes (averaging three to four hours) are now on one USB stick that we can keep permanently in the back of our TV giving my wife access whenever she chooses. The pleasure these images have given my wife and family this last week is immeasurable and Lam’s price for the quality service he delivers is excellent.
Because the memories on these tapes are priceless to us I was a little nervous regarding who I asked to complete the transfers. I was recommended to use Lam by a TV engineer I have known and trusted for many years. If you have any precious images that you want digitised and improved then please be assured you will not find anyone more competent, friendly and helpful than Lam Martland.

We had a fantastic experience with Lam at My Media Memories. He helped us convert a large collection of old VHS tapes and DVDs into digital format, and the whole process was handled brilliantly from start to finish.
Lam was consistently professional, responsive, and very easy to deal with. His communication was prompt and clear throughout, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that gave us real confidence in the process.
What really stood out was how he went the extra mile. He carefully identified duplicates (saving us unnecessary costs), flagged extended “director’s cut” versions, and even uncovered additional footage we didn’t realise we had. He also helped reconcile previously unfinalised DVDs with the original VHS tapes, ensuring nothing was lost.
The quality of the work is excellent, and everything was well organised and easy to navigate on the USBs. It’s clear Lam takes pride in what he does and genuinely cares about preserving these memories properly.

Excellent service and fabulous results. Lam digitalised some 70yr old slides for us, they are the only colour record of Mum and Dads wedding. The family is absolutely delighted, will definitely use Lam and his service again.

Superb instruction from Lam. Explained the possible outcomes of scanning from such old slides. Not only were the results fantastic, but he even offered to retouch the results. Great job all round tbh. A specialist and no mistake.

2 old VHS tapes converted onto USB. Whole process was super quick and dead easy and Lam was great keeping me updated with progress. Also liked that got a preview of what they would look like before going ahead. Brought a tear to my eye watching them worth every penny would highly recommend.

When I spoke with Lam on the phone, he explained the process to me. I had some loose photographs of my children and needed them to be digitised for a photo book. He made the process very easy and simple. I didn’t want to post my photographs out to him just in case they went astray as they are irreplaceable. He told me that I could drop them off instead. He kept me informed every step of the way and, when I received a sample of the high quality images, I was delighted. I needed to have 150 60 year old 35mm slides digitised and feel so lucky to have found My Media Memories to help. Communication from Lam was prompt and efficient from my first enquiry making the process very easy. It turned out that, luckily, Lam lives not far from me so I was able to drop the slides off to him and collect when ready. He's a very nice guy to deal with and genuinely wants to provide the best service. Price was really good, too.I would recommend him and will go back to him if I need anything else.

I was looking to get some old VHS home videos digitalised so they could be preserved and shared with family.
I found My Media Memories through a Google search and from the the first email with Lam I've had nothing but a really positive experience.
It took less than a week from sending 21 VHS cassettes to Lam to get them converted and he kept me updated of the progress all throughout.
I am very happy with the finished videos and I hope to send over a few thousand family photos to be digitised at some point as well.
I Would highly recommend this service for anyone looking to digitise and preserve those precious family memories.

Fantastic service from Lam. He took some old videos of family members passed and created great memories for us to treasure on a pen drive. Nothing was too much bother for him. I also gave him a fastball of supplying pen drives of a Gulf War video to sell for charity at a veterans event. He made sure our request was seen to within the timescale and the pen drives sold easily, making £150 for our chosen charity. I cannot recommend the services that Lam supplies highly enough. 6 stars out of 5.

What a really fantastic experience. Not knowing how to go about sorting some old video 8 tapes, I contacted Lam and from that initial contact he made it so easy to sort them onto USB files. Also giving advice and contacts on how to rectifiy a faulty video/DVD recorder

Contacted My Media Memories as wanted old pictures revitalised. Lam was really nice to deal with communication brilliant. Pictures just what I wanted much more vibrant but not lost the aged look either. Very quickly turned round

Lam was super quick both with his communications and with the turn around of digitising my 35mm slides. I'm really happy with the results (and the price !) and will be sending him some more to do for me now.
