Had a great time on this trip and really enjoyed the project! Highlights for me were the avenue of the baobabs, river cruise and the hikes. The tents for camping were very sturdy and tall enough to stand up in. Food was great! Accommodations were very good! Looking to go back in the future.

The trip to Madagascar was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. Super well organized, every day included exceptional adventures and experiences with the highlight being floating down a river for several days, visiting local villages and hiking to beautiful swimming holes. Every night we would camp on the river’s edge and even serenaded by the boat’s crew under star filled heavens. After the boat it was lemurs and the amazing Baobob trees. I have been on 3 trips with Josh and Johnny and the small group of travelers on each is always an exceptional group of humans who love adventure, and are flexible and super friendly. Don’t hesitate - join a future trip if you are interested!

I am not much of a group travel person as I hate being herded, but I have loved the trips with Mudita tremendously. They keep the trip fun, adventurous and the people that come on their trips are just great fun folks.

I have made incredible friendships on each expedition and am eagerly plotting my next one.

This was my first Mudita adventure but absolutely will not be my last (I had only hesitated to go because of my age, 62 and thought I may hold people back but I was not the oldest and it was fabulous!!!!) From the minute we arrived it was a full on adventure.
Everything was planned, organized and communicated daily. The level of activity and adventures were second to none. Josh was wonderful and such a great leader. The friendships I've made will last a lifetime and I can't wait for my next one!!!

What an amazing trip... I have been traveling for 15 years and this was the most fulfilling trip I have ever had. In a. completely foreign land I felt safe, taken care of and was shown all the best experiences one can have in the country. The trip was so smooth I wouldn't have known if there was any problems. I highly recommend Mudita for any adventure you are seeking!!

Our travel with Mudita Adventures was absolutely incredible. Josh provided more than enough communication throughout the entire trip and made every single part of the trip fluid, exciting, and a real adventure. I felt we were well taken care of, with every aspect of our needs thought of - especially during the pandemic, we all felt safe and looked after. I cannot wait to travel with Mudita again!!

Not only are Mudita Adventures trip's perfect for those who just love to go with the flow, its perfect for the organizational freaks of us as well. I have traveled a lot myself and I am a crazy structured and organized person. I usually hate someone planning my trips for me because I'm scared they are going to miss something, or not know the best places. I can confidently say that this wasn't the case with Mudita Adventures. It was an absolute blessing to know that I could just sit back and enjoy the moment knowing that Josh was handling everything (and so gracefully too!) . Truthfully you don't know what your missing until you go on a trip that's completely organized to the smallest and most thoughtful details for you. More than the beautiful places we went, it gave me the ability to just sit back and enjoy. PRICELESS!

This adventure left my heart FULL! It truly was a trip of a lifetime. Each moment was full of excitement, exploration and gratitude. The ease and perfectly mapped out flow of our journey left us in Awe! From getting to spend time with the beautiful children in Arusha to the Sunrises & Sunsets in the Serengeti, Spotting the Big 5, Eating & Drinking ALL the best local delights to being wonderstruck on a catamaran in the middle of the Indian Ocean! Super grateful to the Mudita Team for taking care of our entire group!!

I had an incredible experience on our adventure in Tanzania. So much thought and attention to detail was clearly put in to organizing this trip and Josh went above and beyond during the trip to make sure our group had the best time! Not easy with 20 of us I’m sure! It was such a beautiful experience from helping rebuild the school in Arusha and meeting the kids, to seeing the big 5 on the safari, to going up in the hot air balloon over the Serengeti, camping with zebras! And relaxing on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Everything in between was smooth and well organized. I feel like I got more than I could have asked for from this trip. Highly recommend Mudita and will definitely be travelling with them again!

Owners make the trip so enjoyable by being involved. They aim to make a difference in the world. Best group to invest in if you want to travel and give back in the process.

If you are thinking about going on a Mudita Adventure just do yourself a favor and book it! I joined their Thailand trip and it was one of my most memorable holidays ever. Johnny and Josh were the most amazing guides Ive ever seen in action. Everything was well thought-out and superbly planned, with no hiccups...the trip itself was seamless from beginning to end. Volunteering was such a highlight and seeing how much the donated money and our time and efforts helped was beautifully overwhelming. I got to meet some awesome people, help a community in need, seen new things, had some fun, epic experiences and made some great memories that I will never forget! No amount of words can describe how highly I rate this trip.. trust that it will be the trip of a lifetime. I am hoping to join them for another adventure soon!

My Mudita trip to Bali was such a unique experience! They did not only offer the best and craziest holiday adventure but also gave us a chance to give back to the local communities. I had an amazing time building a new library for the kids - they totally deserve a better education and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it.

Mudita Adventures is the best alternative to do responsible tourism. I have been on two of their trips and they both were epic! The impact that they have in the local communities is amazing and to be a part of it is priceless!

I had the opportunity to go with Mudita Adventures to Kenya and Tanzania. I loved every minute of the trip. The guys chose restaurant that have plenty of options for the variety of diets that can show up on a group trip. The hotels were not always what I personally would have found but they were safe and clean. The work project was most rewarding and I loved the connection that you could tell the Mudita leaders had with the community and the students at the school. You could feel the long term connection and goals they are trying got achieve for the community, they definitely felt like family to the community.

After finding the group through social media, I went on my first trip with the group in February 2019 to Nepal. I did not know what to expect prior but it was without doubt a life changing trip and the community we got to assist found a big place in my heart. Working hard each day and seeing the end result with a happy community was so overwhelming I actually do not think I have ever felt so full of purpose. The hiking trip that followed was just as special and with such an amazing group of travellers coming together was so pleased to achieve the finish point (having never really done much physical exercise previously!) Josh and Johnny were always on hand to assist with any questions, recommending the best places to eat and made sure for a smooth running trip!
Cannot recommend travelling with Mudita enough - so much so I am already booked with my 2020 trip to Uganda!

Both Johnny and Josh are absolutely lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to go on another one of their trips. I went on their partnered trip to Africa and it was the most fun I’ve ever had whilst travelling and it was also the most fulfilling. knowing that we were doing something to give back to the communities we were visiting was great!
Poor Josh entertained all of my emails (which were numerous) and they both made me and everyone else on the trip feel right at home with each other!
