Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Bought the boots as a Christmas present for my brother in law. He wore them twice in 14 months and the first time in water they leaked. What a waste of money and they didn’t send him a replacement. Thoroughly disappointing the company doesn’t step up and replace their poor quality product. We have bought many of their boots in the past but will never buy another. Thoroughly disappointed in their response to a defective pair.

Love the comfort – but the quality has seriously declined

I have been a loyal Muck Boot customer for years. My first pair of the Ws Sport II Mid lasted over five years, which is exactly what you'd expect from a boot in this price range.

However, when that pair finally wore out and I bought the same model again, I was deeply disappointed. Less than a year in, the new pair has already broken and is giving me blisters. The quality is nowhere near what I was used to.

When I contacted Muck Boot to make a claim, they did not consider this a defect worthy of replacement or compensation – which I find completely unacceptable for a premium-priced boot.

The comfort is still outstanding, but when durability and customer service fail to match the price tag, I can no longer recommend this brand. I will be switching to a different brand going forward.

Best gardening boots

My new Muck boots fit perfectly, and I had no soreness after wearing them 8 hours the first day. They are easy to get on and off, are waterproof, and look great. Finally, the box is the perfect size for my cat to sleep in.

My wife wanted the boots in one size and sent me the link. I bought the boots but when they arrived they were the wrong size. This is because the website automatically changes the size if they are out of your size which is stupid. I then had to wait over a month for a refund and they charge me shipping. Won't be purchasing any more muck boots

DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM CHINA!

It’s sad that American Companies have put profits over quality, screwing over the American public by shipping all their manufacturing to China. Muck boots is just another example. I’ve had my Mick boots for 1 year, I have worn them 6 times last winter. Properly stored them as directed and yesterday I put them on to help my neighbor as his goats got out. Walking through a creek both of my feet were wet from leaks. I paid good money for what was once a good product. Now a waste of my money. I cannot recommend Muck boots or ANYTHING MADE IN CHINA!

Disappointing experience

It took almost two weeks for my boots to arrive. There has been so much snow in my corner of Scotland that I did understand a certain delay but what irked me was the lack of response by email when enquiring about delivery. I ended up having to telephone a few days later for information. I had to ask who the courier was and the tracking number as I should have got these details when the boots were despatched but didn't get this information. I didn't appreciate getting an email with reference to how to care for my boots when I hadn't even received them . Of course the snow has disappeared so didn't get the chance to use them when I actually needed them. I wish I had read the reviews before using this company as I would probably have gone elsewhere. Here's hoping they are worth the money as they are expensive but I did get a sale price.

Muck Boots haven't arrived after 30days

Ordered a pair of Muck Boots on Amazon over 1 month ago and still haven't received them. Now I received a message we will email you when we have an expected delivery date. How can a company run like this, It's winter now. I do not recommend buying online but the reason I did is after having an issue with my last pair and contacting Muck they advised me to order online for easier warranty claim if needed. Was very difficult to get warranty after neoprene and rubber separated. At this time I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND

Wouldn't recommend buying online

Wouldn't recommend buying online, cost me nearly £10 to return, most companies cover the cost of returning items that don't fit but not this one, needless to say I won't be trying a different pair.

Sizing - Don't Get Caught Out

Sizing! I am a generous 6.5 womens boot. As advised on their website I ordered a size 7 (next size up as no half sizes). Boots arrived and the 7 is far too big, returned and ordered a 6, still too big. This wouldn't be a problem if the return postage was not extortionate. £20 via Royal Mail to return tracked or £14 with DPD. So because the sizing is not true to size, in fact no where near it, I am now out of pocket for the return. What would be helpful when shopping with them online (like no other shoe/boot provider has ever thought of this), would be to give the internal measurements toe to heel e.g. 25.5cm. This provides an accurate dimension to measure against, and most good brands do this when ordering online. Saying a 6 or 7 without context means nothing as sizes vary so much. Then adding insult to injury, saying to order a size up on their website made the whole situation worse. Providing a product that is not true to shoe size is misleading and costly. I won't buy from them again based on this. Don't get caught out, shop elsewhere.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Poor quality boots that are very expensive so awful value. Packaging damaged on receipt because of wrapper design. Returns policy not fit for purpose and they also charge. A company and product to avoid.

Terrible customer service!

Tried to order place an order but they don't ship to Isle of Man. It's like we're on the other side of the world not in the middle of the Irish Sea.

Anyway that's fine, but to then send emails asking me to complete the order and another email "Dear Friend" we've not heard from you in a while, is taking the p!ss!

Absolutely NOT fit for purpose

Absolutely NOT fit for purpose, one of the boots split at the heel...clearly factory fault, when i emailed customer service, they asked for the order number, the boots were a gift, and i was ignored. there are many other brands and boots in the market, please avoid. The price does not match the quality, customer service is worse than the boots.

We bought a pair of muck boots from Sam…

We bought a pair of muck boots from Sam Turners Northallerton who have been very good through . The problem is as said bought leaking 10 month after purchase . phoned Sam turners told to return them but as we live no where a post office decided to buy a other pair. they started leaking 13 month after purchase . we were visiting Yorkshire so took the 2 pairs in to see what they could do the were helpful but could not help as it was over the 1 year guarantee spoke to muck boots direct , they said take them back again and insist on them being sent back to there supplier , we did this but there supplier would not help . so end of the story we have paid over £250.00 for 2 pairs of leaking boots , not very good considering both pairs were hardly worn . say about 45 times a year .

DO NOT BUY FROM MUCK BOOTS

DO NOT BUY FROM MUCK BOOTS! BE WARNED! This for us was a scam.

In November 2024 we ordered a pair of Wellington boots which duly arrived but were too big. We sent them back requesting a smaller size. There was zero response! 5 emails later we then requested a refund. Again zero response. It is now April 2025 and to date we have not heard from Muck Boots nor received the refund. They kept the boots and kept the money! We have tried calling the contact number - that comes back as this number cannot be connected! I would give the NO STARS if the options was there.

I purchased the winter rain boot to use…

I purchased the Hale pink camo muck winter rain boot to use for winter in Ontario Canada. They are a beautiful boot. Purchased mainly for doing the typical daily tending to my horses. They were promoted as NON slip on ice and snow..That's BS as I almost cracked my head open. Advertised as waterproof..BS..my feet got wet.. after 1 year they were ripping on the sides..I'm not easy on my things as I don't have the patience to baby them and place them in glass show boxes..I used them as a normal working person would do. I have 2 mini horses..so it's not like Im running a farm. VERY disappointed in the quality.. I will NEVER purchase another from this company. It's unfortunate as I did read reviews. They have wonderful reviews. I'm not sure if I just got a faulty pair .I tried customer service ..they were not willing to cooperate . I didnt pursue it further. Chalked it up to being stupid enough to fall for the trend. Now I stick with Baffin or Sorel.

Poor Quality and service

I live in northern Minnesota and purchased a pair Muck Arctics primarily to keep my feet warm during my ice fishing trips where I usually sit rather than spend lots of time walking. In other words, they have very few miles of walking. I was disappointed in the warmth of the boot from the get-go as my feet got very cold after a couple of hours. The second winter the sole of the boots started to separate from the uppers, and thanks to Shoe Goo I was able to use them the third winter. This year the uppers developed cracks that I once again had to mend.

I could not find a way to leave a review on Muck's website so I emailed them expressing my concern and asked how I could write a review. That was a month ago and I have not heard back from them.

I am very disappointed in both the boots and the company. I will go back to the Canadian Lynx boots I bought when in high school as they are still warm and water proof (with the help of Shoe Goo). By the way, I am currently 75 so those boots have seen many more miles and years of use than the Mucks.
