Bike Protect seems to do what is claimed, bike looks shiny after use and minor splashes of dirt wipe off easily. Can't say for sure whether it protects parts against water but I guess it does.

Great products.
Smells good, seems to have done a decent job at repelling dirty and road spray
Perfect for helping repel dirt, makes it easier to clean your bike next time around!
Works great just keep away from braked
Love this it’s great keeps everything rust free and definitely stops the muck stickin
Works well. Effective protection and reduces the collection of road spray gunk on your ride. Watch your braking surfaces! They’re not joking.
