They automatically check boxes for extra paid options, so before you realize it, additional charges are added and the money is taken immediately. I ended up paying almost €200 while I originally expected it to cost around €70.
The website states that you can request a refund within 14 days after purchase, so I applied for a refund on the same day. However, they only responded much later with a lot of excuses and nonsense, but without actually giving my money back.
I would not recommend buying from them.

I had a very disappointing experience with mSpy.
I signed up for a 1-year subscription for around $120 while preparing to set things up on a device I didn’t yet have. Immediately after submitting payment, I was taken to another screen that had multiple additional packages already selected, with no clear option other than to continue. I assumed this was going to a confirmation or review page—but it was not. It processed additional charges without clear, informed consent.
As a result, I was charged roughly an additional $147 ($57 + $90) on top of the original purchase. That brought the total to well over $200 unexpectedly, which is not something most people budget for.
I had not even used the service at all. When I tried to cancel, I was routed through an AI chatbot instead of a real person. While the subscription was eventually canceled, they refused to issue a refund—despite the fact that the service was never used.
Being charged for add-ons without clear opt-in, followed by a difficult cancellation process and refusal to refund unused services, is extremely frustrating. I’ve now had to escalate this through my credit card company.
I would strongly caution others to review every screen carefully before purchasing and be aware of potential add-ons during checkout.

Misleading, false advertising, and liers. Company promises all these features, but when you buy - you only get a portion of the features depending on your setup, and they then try to upsell you shit that was already advertised. I paid for year subscription, because of deal and they won't refund my money - not even the remainder of the period. Absolute garbage company!

App doesnt update properly. They want to reinstall everytime to fix. Trying to get real help cost more money. Phone and camera listening notifies user on their phone. Trying to get customer care is a joke. Stay away and dont use this software.

Me, because you deceived me with false advertising for a service in your portfolio, I had to pay 37 pounds for a non-existent service, you took another 27 pounds from me (no explanation), the money goes into an Estonian bank (which has nothing to do with you), after my request to return my money, due to false and misleading information, YOU answer me "that you cannot return my money (for 15 days) due to reasons beyond your control". What is this, FRAUD "LIES" right? You have neither correctness, dignity and humanity. That's why I call you "ID...I", this is the smallest insult you deserve. You don't even have the dignity to answer me. I don't know where the authorities look for "Fish" frauds and false publishing information about stealing money from clients? I subscribed to mSpy in early 2025. The service stopped working after approximately four months. On March 22, 2026, mSpy automatically renewed my subscription for €188.40 without sending any prior notification — no email, no reminder of any kind before the charge.
I requested a refund on the same day via their live chat. No response.
I then attempted to cancel the automatic renewal through their website. The procedure involves 7 successive steps, including unnecessary re-entry of account credentials already known to mSpy. At the final step, the "Confirm" button is deliberately non-functional until you type a minimum of 15 characters in a free-text field. If you write "no longer needed" — too short. The button stays greyed out. This is not a bug. It is a deliberate design choice to prevent cancellation.
I have documented this on a YouTube video titled: "mSpy dark pattern — Cancellation button deliberately blocked under 15 characters (proof)"
Despite a formal notice sent on April 15, 2026 (Ticket #9674193), mSpy responded within 6 minutes with a generic script — without addressing any of the legal grounds raised.
A formal ADR complaint is now registered with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority under reference ČOI 57188/26/O100.
This is not a billing dispute. This is a documented dark pattern under EU Regulation 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), Article 25, combined with a failure to notify prior to automatic renewal in violation of Directive 2011/83/EU.
UPDATE May 2026 — Full refund of €188.40 received following formal ADR complaint with Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Ref. ČOI 57188/26/O100) and publication of video evidence. The dark pattern on the cancellation procedure remains active.

Hello All
My name is Pam and I wanted to use the social media monitoring feature tool on an iPhone and when I looked on their website it they indicated that IPhones were compatible. Please see the screenshots from the website .
It becomes apparent that monitoring iPhones social media is not possible at all and you only get to know this once you pay a subscription , which then ties you in. There is a table that highlights the features available in android phones and iPhones. Once I found this out I reached to support for a refund but guess what they didn’t give me a refund but started offering options for different features I could choose from apart from the option of social media monitoring.
So I reached out and asked the again please give me my refund as they were not clear about the restrictions on iPhones.
I then revived an email from mspy saying I agreed to their term and condition and so they can’t refund me . Again I explained if they had stated on the website before I paid the subscription that social monitoring is not available on iPhones I would not have joined their service.
But mspy is continuously trying every excuse not to refund my money even though I haven’t used the service and even though they do not provide the service of being able to monitor social media on iPhones
My last email to mspy includes screenshots from their website showing that social media can be monitored

This app makes promises that are so full of errors it borders on fraud. Whatever you think you are paying for rest assured it isn't. You will be given access and then forced to pay again because all you have paid for is a error prone unprofessional log in method to a world with more scammers offering more crap.
They go on ad nausium about all this info you will get from someone's device but they fail to mention that the target device needs to be available so you can install shit on it.
The highlight is that everything they said was possible they don't actually offer? Their affiliates enter the cycle at this point-they have bills to pay and more to offer. Ensure you have lots of card space.
