Written by the company

Mr Kai is an AI-powered GCSE tutor, built in the UK to give every student the kind of personal support that used to be reserved for families who could afford private tutoring. Mr Kai is grounded in a source library of more than 24,000 official exam-board and Department for Education resources — past papers, mark schemes, examiner reports and curriculum content spanning 2017 to 2024. That means every explanation, quiz and piece of feedback is based on the real curriculum, not generic internet answers. Students get a personalised programme built around their subjects, exam board and target grades: a short daily quiz that adapts to their weak areas, a 24/7 tutor chat that explains any GCSE question step by step, realistic mock exam practice marked against official criteria, tailored revision notes with text-to-speech, and rewards and streaks that turn revision into a habit. Parents get full visibility: a dashboard showing exactly how their child is studying, the ability to upload school reports for instant analysis, and progress reports straight to their inbox. Mr Kai covers 31 GCSE subjects across all the major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge IGCSE and CCEA in Northern Ireland. We're a British company with safeguarding and data protection at our core — we're ICO registered and fully GDPR compliant. Mr Kai costs £10 per student per month, and teacher and parent accounts are always free. Learn more at www.mrkai.ai.

Mr Kai

This app has been an absolute godsend, for a parent who’s son is in his GCSE year, not only does it update me daily with his progress, it gives my son the feeling of earning money through the XP system, something he takes great pleasure in telling me, how much I owe him, it’s AI technology specifically targets the areas in which improvements are needed, which also means we save time covering things he is already up to speed on, all round Mr Kai has been a gem of a find, also on a personal note, having dyslexia, when I’ve been asked to help with homework, I’ve often felt I’m letting him down and failing him, now we simply ask Mr Kai, 5 star app.

Mr Kai is my son’s go-to resource for GCSE revision

Mr Kai is tailored for GCSE preparation. Our son started with the regular quizzes which was a great way to keep him learning on long car journeys to rugby matches. As he got into more focused exam preparation he used Mr Kai to mark his revision work questions and suggest further study areas / questions. He now proactively uses Mr Kai as his go-to resource for mock exam preparation

No more nagging!

We were constantly nagging and arguing with our son about revising and Mr Kai has fixed that.

The app is loaded with his specific subjects and school reports. It provides our son a personalise quiz everyday which he can earn rewards for completing. He can also sit mock exams and review coursework. Far more personalised and custom than Chat GPT. We as parents get report cards every Sunday and our some has really improved.
Thank you Mr Kai.

Brilliant app for GCSE prep

Brilliant app for GCSE prep. So helpful to say to teenagers, since you are on your
Phone anyway, do some prep. And they can earn a bit of money whilst doing it. Great motivation…and a win-win for parent and student.
