Bought Macbook, It broke after 3 months, they refused to fix it.

I bought a Apple Macbook 13" from eBay who is also an Australian computer refresher named MR-IT i bought this computer on April 21 2025, it broke and stopped working in September only a few months after buying it, i had to wait to go to Sydney to get it diagnosed by Apple (since i live in Wagga Wagga and their are no Apple stores here) when they informed me the logic board was at fault and would need to be replaced costing me over $900 to fix, when i bought the computer for $800, i contacted MR-IT soon as i head this and his response was blame shifting onto apple and how i should file fair claim on them and its not his product. but he refurbished it and sold it to me, i tried contacting eBay support but because it was past its 30 day money back guarantee, i tired contacting After Pay and my bank and they couldn't help me either, this is my last hope to get this problem solves since i feel like i was robbed, sold a computer that didn't even last 3 months when it should last way longer then that, in Australia you cant sell computer goods with a only 1 month warranty. Its completely illegal and his lack of wanting to help fix a computer he refurbished and sold me is deeply concerning for anyone else looking to buy more affordable laptops that have been refurbished, they should last years not just 3 months. Do not buy from this seller if you want your computers to last. They will not respect consumer law and you have to go through fair trade to even get a resolution.
