Ordered a primer bulb for a Ryobi not…

Ordered a primer bulb for a Ryobi mower paid 3.50 for delivery not here after 9 days. Poor service I was expecting better they said delivery would be slower I was expecting that but it would of been quicker by pigeon

Sherpa Deluxe Multi Sprayer Cordless Powered Knapsack

I must admit I wasn't expecting much for £100. A few years ago my manual pump trolley garden sprayer cost £60 and although it worked fine it is very low end quality. Fed up with endless pumping I looked for a cordless sprayer and the reviews for this looked good.
I was pleasently impressed, although not used in anger yet, it is of good build quality, and the comprehensive manual is actually written in English, as opposed to a poorly translated Chinese affair. Build and commissioning was easy and contrary to other reports the handle does not pull out if you fit the locking screws - a case of RTFM as it covers everything.
Certain parts that could have been plastic were metal and the standard sealed battery is replaceable which bodes well for a long life.
I have tried it out with water and it seems to work well. Nothing to dislike so far.
Mower Magic delivered it virtually next day as well.

Ordered a small lawnmower cable which…

Ordered a small lawnmower cable which was “In stock at our warehouse” and paid £4.50 for postage and still not here after 10 days. Just had an email to say it’s coming tomorrow. £4.50 ???? 11days ???? For a little cable which was in stock.
I’m used to better online services.

Replacement Bag for Mowerland Blower/Shredder Vac MLEV 2500.

I was looking for a replacement bag for our Mowerland Blower/Shredder Vac and saw some on Ebay that looked the same. When I enquired if it would fit my model MLEV 2500 which is quite old the answer came back no.
Looking elsewhere I found one at Mower Magic which mentioned my model number.
It was a bit dearer than the Ebay one as you had to cover postage but it came quickly and is as good quality as the original. Tried it yesterday and was very pleased.

Great personalised and friendly service…

Great personalised and friendly service from Mower Magic - they noticed I had ordered something that was on a long lead-time and got in touch to see if they could help, which they did. In the end I changed to another wheelbarrow which got delivered to my parents within 2 days and that they are very happy with!

Quick shipment and helpful customer service

Very good experience with Mower Magic. Competitive prices and quick delivery. Problem with credit card payment (not Mower Magic fault) promptly solved. Customer service easily accessible and helpful, both over the phone and on email.

Bought a Sherpa garden cart/trolley

Bought a Sherpa garden cart/trolley. Arrived the next day! Excellent service! Great trolley, replaced the one I had which had reached the end of its life. Love the improvements - solid tyres! Easy to assemble and use. Made light work of shifting 3 tons of topsoil. Thank you!!

A very helpful company to purchase from!

I was very impressed with the way my enquiry and subsequent order was handled, although the item was not currently available I was reliably informed that when it was I would receive an email with details of delivery.
This was a birthday gift and amazingly it was delivered the day before the birthday! So, well done Mower Magic particularly Ronnie who was so very helpful! I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Ordered Greenworks cordless hedge…

Ordered Greenworks cordless hedge trimmer Aug 1, money out of my account on 3rd, promised confirmation of order and eta of dispatch but have heard nothing. Repeatedly tried to phone to be repeated edly told by recorded message they are not taking calls about existing orders but are open to new orders! Impossible to contact them.
What redress is available?
Very worried and advise against dealing here.

Thanks for the dates, it has helped us find your order. I can see when you placed that over the phone you were advised this was on pre-order and due in mid-September. Several order confirmation and order update emails have been sent, if you've not received them, they may be in your spam or it may be we made a typo when taking your phone order. If you give us a call or send us an email (sales@mowermagic.co.uk) we can check we've got the correct details for you and resend a confirmation.

I ordered some small parts on the 10…

I ordered some small parts on the 10 July for my lawnmower. I have had no updates at all and in all my online dealings this is poor in today's terms. Made me wonder if I had made a poor choice buying from this supplier. Also don't like their email, saying don't call us we are having difficulties with suppliers , Covid etc. Well they should have accepted my order then should they!

Order not delivered, no response to queries

Placed an order on 25th June 2020, now the 23rd July and no sign of anything; no updates, no response to e-mails and the phone response is just an automated answer to say they are busy and to call again which I've tried numerous times.

Updated 29th July - goods now despatched...! When the sales team eventually contacted me they were good, but the fact their system accepts an order for an item that is indefinitely out of stock and then the company is impossible to contact when nothing happens for over a month wasn't a great experience.

Mower Magic: more than magic

Found Mower Magic online: best price for my chosen product (Webb 20V PHT Cordless Long Reach Hedge Trimmer) but expected to have to wait for a pre-order. Phoned them and got an immediate offer to check with manufacturer just in case. His colleague heard and thought there was one on the shelf! There was and it was delivered the next day!
Received, unpacked assembled, battery charged and checked. Waiting for a rain-free day to test for real.
Excellent customer care and advice. Will use them again when necessary. Thank you, MM: magic!
Since review, tested on a deep high hedge and it works like magic. The strap is needed as it is quite heavy, especially when extended as it was for this hedge. Delighted with it in use. Bought ear protectors but not really needed as it is quiet. Gloves necessary though.

I'll certainly be returning.

I bought a robot mower last year.
I sent it to Mower Magic for a winter service and I was very impressed with the whole arrangement.
This summer my mower displayed an error message, not as a result of anything that Mower Magic had or hadn’t done but because, as I suspect, the mower encountered an obstruction – a cable plug became dislodged.
The staff, and in particular Tim the technician, could not have been more helpful in diagnosing the problem and in telling me how to fix it.
I will certainly be returning for another service this winter.

I recommend you to use an alternative supplier

15 Jun - I placed my order
19 Jun - I hadn't received any dispatch notification so emailed them for an update
23 Jun - After receiving no response I thought I'd call to check if items were dispatched as 8 days had passed. I was informed that nothing had been dispatched and that they were waiting on one item.

I had paid £5.50 for a courier service and asked if they could courier dispatch the order that was ready and then the remainder to be sent by Royal Mail when that was ready. This should be normal practice as e.g Amazon dispatch part of their orders if there is a delay in part of the order, which is very sensible. I was informed by their staff member, James that they would have to charge me additional postage costs. I explained that the item that was outstanding was an air filter that weighed nothing and so post cost would be low. I added that it had been 8 days, I had received no notification that the order was delayed and I would have expected the order to be dispatched by now. James was personable but had not been issued with power to make decisions and had to refer to his manager for each query.

I asked to be transferred to his boss, Ronnie. Ronnie stated the best he would do was Royal Mail the order that was ready and Royal Mail the remainder when it arrived. I felt it reasonable to courier the order and then Royal Mail the remainder. Ronnie was intransigent so I stated that I would accept his way but I didn't feel that I was being looked after, especially as this was my first order and the experience thus far had not been great. In the end 25 mins of call had passed and I explained that we appeared to be at an impasse and that I would accept his way but did not feel a satisfied customer and was going to hang up as there clearly was no reason to continue the debate.

Quite shortly after the call ended I received an email from Paypal stating that I had been refunded. It would appear that Mower Magic felt they would rather just cancel the order, even though I had not instructed them to do so. So 8 days after placing an order I am no further to receiving my items.

In my experience there are far better suppliers out there and with much better customer service.
