Had a fantastic experience with these guys – by far the easiest move I've ever had to make. It took barely an hour to get everything out of my apartment and only about 30 minutes to empty the truck and move it all into my new place. Everything was treated with care and the furniture was well-wrapped and protected. Can't say anything negative.

These guys are real professionals. We are very satisfied with the way they help us to move without any hindrance. They came on time and did fabulous job.

Very professional, answered all my questions, and moved our stuff quickly. I would highly recommend Movers Not Shackers for all your needs.

The team on the day were amazing, working beyond their regular hours (I'm sure) to get us in. Totally recommend.

Fantastic! Showed up early, packed our things quickly and well, nothing broken. Final price was as quoted, no hassles. If I ever have to love again, I'll call these guys.

Alex's team was friendly, efficient, and helpful. My roommate had a medical emergency the day we were supposed to move, leaving me alone with half a room still unpacked when the movers arrived. I was nervous about getting everything together in time, but Alex quickly assured me that he and his team had everything under control - and they really did! They packed up everything that wasn't yet in boxes, from bulky furniture to fragile plants and moved us into our new apartment in about 2 hours start-to-finish. 10/10 would use Movers, Not Shakers for my next move~

I've used other local movers in the past, but when it came time to move this time around, those guys weren't available. In a lot of ways, I lucked out because of this! I was in the process of trying to sublet a coop from the owner, a process which is not for the faint of heart! I reached out to a number of different movers, these guys included (as a friend and her dad had both used them and had a great experience), and Greg got back to me in no time flat.

I couldn't guarantee I would get this apartment (though I was pretty sure), but he let me lock in the date I wanted to move without charging my cars -most other companies won't do this. I gave a card to hold the reservation, but he was flexible to let me change the address, date of move etc. which gave me peace of mind.

In the past, I rented moving crates elsewhere, but they rented me the same number for just about 1/2 the price. They dropped the crates off ten days before the move which gave me plenty of time to pack, and will pick them up when I give them a ring to do so.

Greg and I inventoried my items, for a price that was more than fair. He even spelled out suggestions for tipping, which I appreciated the clarity around. They were able to issue a COI with no problem, and sent it directly to my management company.

The morning of the move, the team arrived early, and got straight to work. They moved me out of my apartment in 1.5 hours, packing my furniture in blankets, plastic wrap etc. and fragile items in bubble wrap. They moved me into my new place in under an hour.

They accept checks and credit cards for the move which is very convenient. While I'm not eager to move now anytime soon, I'll be sure to use them when I do.

We had great help in getting scheduled when others were totally booked up. Understanding. Helpful. The 5 guys that assisted in the move were excellent- careful, pleasant and completed the move quickly. Definitely Movers Not Shakers.

Alex, Rafael and the two other guys they brought had my entire 2 bedroom apartment moved into their truck in about 2 hours. This was from a second story walk up. The speed they moved in was amazing, but they were also very careful with all my boxes, furniture and walls. The unloading at the new place was speedy and just as good. They were true professionals and made the move incredibly easy for me. I highly recommend these guys!

Sent COI quickly. Showed up on time. Worked efficiently. Moved everything without any damage. Laughed at my jokes. Second time using them, will use them again.

MNS was great. The crew was fast, polite and careful.

The movers were fantastic - super fast, careful, and extremely nice. Jay was very organized and the whole move (an entire apt) was done in under 3 hours, which I didn't realize was possible.

I also loved that the bins were delivered two weeks in advance so not only did I not have to feel guilty about using so much cardboard, but I had ample time to pack.
