This would have gotten a 5 but there was a problem with delivery. The company made it right but it wasn’t perfect. Happy with my purchase and the customer service is outstanding!

Ordered a part for a race was assured was in stock. Was charged £8 delivery for a tiny part. Called the store a week later after no news, emailed nothing, 3 days later called l, was told they'd get back to me. Called again a couple of days later was told they'd get back to me. Never bothered replying. Emailed for a final time and 2 weeks after order told no part. I.dealt with the Tring and Didcot stores. Stay clear.

Friendly staff in the shop. Didn't stay too long but will use again when the needs arises.
Very poor experience overall
Couldn’t find both items at first, they claimed it was stored in another location when I had to chase them up. I asked if everything was ok after 5 days of no movement or contact with the order.
Items shipped next day after emailing, received the day after that. However, these were plastic glasses lenses that came in a plastic bag from the manufacturer. No additional care was taken to pack delicate items properly, they were stuffed into a lightly padded (and oversized) envelope without any cardboard or effort to protect them and it’s a miracle they arrived in one piece.
Even the postman had to take great care stuffing through the letterbox, I thought he would knock but because it was so slim, he took a chance mashing up the parcel to get it through. And I paid £8 for that postage, hilarious.
Only ordered due to having stock and a good price, wont be trying again. Avoid.

Took rear wheel in for spoke tightening and was verbally quoted £20. Picked up and charged £40. Accepting that a verbal quote is an estimate but 100% uplift without any explanation as to why is not good. Also took chasing with a phone call to ask what / when wheel would be sorted. Positive side - very friendly staff front of house. Jury out if I would use services again , given experience.
A+ Customer Service
I’m an international customer (USA). I purchased 3 items. Two items were in one store. The other in the other store.
The Super Stars on their Support team sent three emails to ensure I was OK waiting to consolidate the items and save me shipping and still meet my timing needs.
I just received everything. Packaged safely. Nice job.
Clumsy unhygienic staff
Tring Store manager Lewis took my bike in for repair when I got it back the fork stanchions were scratched after reporting this they have completely denied any wrongdoing and threatened to call the police!
When questioned it’s clear they do not put bikes in bike stands.
This happened a year back aswell when Alex dropped my bike in front of me!
If you call and show you are upset they threaten to call the police for the criminal damage they inflict.
There are plenty of other bike stores around PLEASE avoid Mountain mania like the plague…
Store manager Lewis has wrecked my bike and displays extremely unhygienic habits you don’t want him touching your bike.
Very happy with the saddle
Lemond part!!
It certainly took a while getting over here from England, but I’m very happy that I got the part. Kind of bummed out that Lamond wouldn’t have any of these kind of parts sitting in their US outlet

The product Shimano derailleur was exactly as ordered. It arrived at my home in regional South Australia in 7 days from being ordered in England.
The updates from the shipping company were regular and impressive.
Great customer service from the Tring…
Great customer service from the Tring store. Quick, efficient and helpful bike repair and didn't try to upsell me anything.
Customer focused
Great buying experience, fast shipping, very responsive, very reliable seller.
FEELING SCAMMED
Bought 38 tubes of caffeine drink tabs, got 6. Ridiculous. Rang them and was told that to get my £57 back I need to pay for postage back to them. FEELING SCAMMED. AVOID

Reply from Mountainmania
A simple quick and efficient service.
I found what I was looking for on the Mountainmania website. I ordered the part and it arrived within days.
Communications with MM were excellent…
Communications with MM were excellent for a small item that was delayed in the mail by several days. But one reason for the comms was that the contents of a rear hub repair kit were not shown on the web site (repair kits vary enormously in their contents), so i needed to check that it contained an oil seal (the minor item which was actually the only item I needed). In fact the repair kit was quite minimal - two cartridge bearings and the seal and in keeping with the price - and I couldn't find the seal anywhere else.
Brilliant service
Delivered in good time. I experienced a minor issue with the item which was resolved immediately by the store.
Very happy with the service received by this store
