I purchased 4 Moultrie Feed Hubs

I purchased 4 Moultrie Feed Hubs. None of them worked. The company offered to replace them with another product, but I needed them to be controlled by my cell phone. After we agreed, these were not going to work. I got a refund. The issue is that even though the subscription was stopped in writing, they kept charging monthly, even though the Feed Hubs were returned. When I called about their mistake, I was told they would refund the charges but they kept charging. Last month I received a $4,00 refund and a charge. LOL I called again today and they said no refund. I will never purchase a Moultrie Product again.

Great Cameras. Shockingly Bad Billing Practices and Worse Customer Service.

Moultrie trail cameras perform well. The image quality is solid and, from a hardware perspective, I’ve been satisfied for years.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ends.

For years, I would turn my cameras off in late fall and reactivate them in the spring. I was never billed while the cameras were inactive. This year, however, I was charged for three months of service while my cameras were turned off and not being used.

When I contacted Moultrie, I was told this is simply their policy — and that it has “always been this way.” That is categorically untrue. I discovered online that Moultrie changed their billing policy in April 2025 to charge customers regardless of whether the cameras are active. I was never notified. Yet customer service refused to acknowledge any change, refused to escalate the issue, and refused to offer any compromise.

There was no accountability. No flexibility. No attempt to retain a long-time customer.

After many years of purchasing and using Moultrie products, I am done. Strong hardware cannot compensate for deceptive billing practices and a customer service department that appears unwilling or unable to support its customers.

If you value transparent billing and responsive support, look elsewhere. After being a Moultrie customer for years, I am selling my Moultrie equipment and switching to SpyPoint.

Buyer beware.

Edge 2 pro would not last over a week…

Edge 2 pro would not last over a week on battery. Customer service suggested that I order a 10w solar charger. It didn’t work. Then they suggested that I order a rechargeable battery. It didn’t last. Now they want me to send in the camera for a replacement. Poor product.

Product never worked properly

Product never worked properly. Solar would not operate the camera. 16 AA batteries to operate and they would last 3-4 weeks the last 32 lasted 2weeks combined. Solution was for me to trouble shoot to repair . They would not replace all repairs were on me. Picture quality is average at best.

Muilrite garbage

Just bought 6 of their best cameras upon setting them up I found out there's a subscription cost NO where on the packaging is this mentioned returning tomorrow tried to call got AI robot an then wasred 5 minutes on hold til I hung up looks like a great product til you purchase an try to use

You will so regret buying these cameras

Do not waste your money. You have to have a contract either monthly or per year I paid for a year after couple of months I started having problems with the cameras not working. I troubleshooted, did everything they asked me to do, customer service even told me I had not done troubleshooting with them! Who else would I have done troubleshooting with? Now one of my cameras does not work at all. And when I called she informed me that I had never called about troubleshooting. Basically calling me a liar. When I asked for a prorated refund of my contract I was informed that it was after 30 days so I could not get any money back. I spent more time resetting these cameras and troubleshooting these cameras then I did using them. Don't waste your money customer service is horrific they will not help you. They will offer to keep troubleshooting they will offer to take the cameras back and troubleshoot them NO! all I wanted was a prorated refund of my yearly contract I thought that was a great compromise. She continued to argue with me that I had never troubleshooted these cameras instead of doing what would be the right thing to do prorate my yearly contract. These are the most aggravating waste of time and money cameras my need was basically security around my home. They're not out in the woods they're not where I have to go hunt them down to take care of them they're right here on my porch. They don't work. I'm sorry I had to give them one star.

Ordered an item for Christmas

Ordered an item for Christmas. Label was created by this horrific company, but they never sent it to the USPS. Now, after spending over 2 hours on the phone, with a "representative" and on the phone with the USPS because Moultrie blamed it on them, they say they are "working on it" and don't care when it gets here or if it ever gets here. Basically, if they find it and ship it, I will then have to ship it back in order to get a refund. I asked for an immediate refund so that I can purchase elsewhere, but they refused to do so. Instead, I have to wait to see if they find the package in their distribution center, then send it to me, so that I can pay to return it before I get my money back. This is BULLSHIT and a terrible company. Run screaming.

I’d like a refund on this product

I’d like a refund on this product.
It’s a load of rubbish.
The battery tray does not open fully so the batteries can’t be fitted.
On the App there are only options for USA and Canada.
Surely you knew this before sending it out.
You had my address in New Zealand.
The whole exercise gives a bad taste, like you want the money but couldn’t care less about who you are selling to.

can't use it so going to the tip!

Got given a second hand camera (charity shop) wingscapes wct-00125 but it needs a security code and there is no way to reset it without an authorised proof of purchase so waste of money and time as customer support wont give out anyhelpful advice, so off to the tip it goes

Poor Service

Have owned many Moultrie feeders in past years--I admit I am always working on them to keep running, but fairly satisfied. They have now come out with the Pro II feeder and timer which is useless. I have had nothing but nightmares with them-- Called Moltrie ( which now days they will never answer the phone or call back) got a couple of emails wanting to know what I needed--When I explained my problem with the Pro II they want pictures --explanations--invoices etc--which I sent. Never hear a word back.. Finally caught a live person on the phone--who showed very little interest. I am running 11 Moultrie feeders now--plan to throw all of them away in January and go to a diffrent brand. I assume Moultrie has acquired to many customers and dont feel that they need to take care of the old customers--That sure have changed.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Custom service was not good. My husband called 3 times, had to put in batteries 3 times, had to buy new SD cards twice. Each time he'd call they'd have him trouble shoot, it would start to work and by evening it would stop... they don't give refunds and Walmart (where he purchased the game-cam)won't give a refund on it either. Don't waste your time or money on this company.

Unresponsive; dishonest & should get 0 stars!
If I could give a 0 stars I would. I ordered 4 Moultrie Deer Hunting Cameras and was charged for 4 — only 2 arrived. When I contacted the company, I was told to take 3 pictures of the box they came in showing the box said 2 PIECES and the inside of the box that only had room for 2 said cameras, submit them and I would hear back in 24-48 hrs. I never heard back. After waiting 3 days, I called and was put on hold said they had the pictures but now I would need to wait another 24 hrs. I ask to speak to a supervisor and was told he would call me back; he did not. I called at the end of the day and he had left for the day. I now have no choice but dispute the charge on my credit card but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT REPUTABLE, HONEST OR TRUSTWORTHY BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE. I must admit I have NEVER written a poor review on any company but this company should not be allowed to handle customers in this fashion — moultriefactoryoutlet.com
