Dodgy car seller, clearly out to make a quick quid and not concerned about providing a good honest service. Soban (Sonny) Dawer Khan at 172 Lockhurst Lane Coventry trading under Motorhunt Uk Ltd. Advertised a car as being in good condition and having full service history. The sunroof was glued shut. Burn marks on the door sill!, Poor paintwork. Dirty interior. Cheap cleaning products and back to black used all over the interior leaving horrible sticky mess. When I discovered it was only partial history he tried to tell me that Full Service History means an “engine oil only service history”!! A full service history actually means that it has had the manufacturer recommended servicing at the intervals the manufacturer recommends. That includes fuel filter (for diesel), gearbox oil changes, cabin and air filters, brake fluid, ..everything the manufacturer recommends. His arrogant phone call on speakerphone to VW main dealer while we were sat with him confirmed certain servicing had been missed but he then insisted he was right and VW was wrong!! His proof of the cambelt being changed was a printed piece of card with his own stamp on it but there is no garage in the tiny lockup at his address. BUYER BEWARE this guy will try every trick in the book to deceive you. We left as he had become irate, outright rude and borderline abusive. When I phoned to ask for my deposit back he outright denied meeting me and spending 3 hours with me only a couple days before. I kindly reminded him of my poor experience with him and he told me I must have met his ‘colleague’, though when I met him in person he told me he was the owner and works alone! After telling him this he magically remembered me. But then started making other excuse after excuse as to why he couldn’t give a refund. Every time I gave a valid answer he made a new excuse. If you buy from this man hopefully nothing goes wrong as he’ll probably deny it or try to wriggle out with his excuses. I wasn’t going to write a review, but then I didn’t want some other unassuming buyer to be ripped off by him. Maybe he was having a bad day but there’s no excuse for the way he acted and refused to refund me.
