I recently purchased a vehicle from Motor Market on finance. Adam, a gentle and courteous salesman, made me feel comfortable throughout the process. He even allowed me to go on a test drive unaccompanied, which I believe was an attempt to build trust. I ended up purchasing a vehicle I liked and drove it away.

However, when I took the car for an oil change, the garage informed me that a cable was touching the engine and would melt if not re-routed. I returned to Motor Market, where they managed to make a temporary fix while I waited for about an hour. Unfortunately, the vehicle broke down six weeks later due to an oil pump failure. Motor Market kept the car for 4.5 weeks for the repair, during which time I was still making finance payments.

After the oil pump was repaired, an electric terminal failed. Adam sent a colleague to my home to fit a new battery, but it was not installed securely, causing the electrical circuit to fail again. I reported this to the finance company, which sent a Scotia engineer to investigate. The engineer discovered a fluid leak that should have been noticed during the oil pump repair, indicating subpar repair work. The engineer also noted that the engine appeared to come from a scrap yard. This was confirmed by a legal third-party vehicle inspection, leading to the vehicle's rejection and return.

When I tried to discuss these issues with Adam, he responded with attitude and sent rude and aggressive emails through his colleague Dean. The sales team dismissed my claims about the vehicle not meeting trading standards as unreasonable and insisted they deserved respect for providing the car.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise staying away from Motor Market. The business demonstrates poor customer service and substandard vehicle repairs, causing unnecessary headaches and frustration.

Dean sent me multiple texts saying that I am only complaining about this vehicle because it suits my agenda. They tried to con me into buying an unsafe vehicle with multiple issues and when I had a problem with it, they also refused to provide evidence of the repairs they carried to it which is general practice in any motoring business.

ADAM, DEAN, PAUL were extremely rude all the way through , and tried to aid the business cover up your tracks by not providing proof of fixes and blaming the customer.

Really a super company to deal with!
We were difficult to finance but Prav found a way and we drove away happy in a super Citroen that had been prepared to look like new.
Thank you, it was well worth driving forty miles to find you!

I am very disappointed with my vauxhall astra as ive had it six months and the said all there cars are AA approved. And serviced ,why does my incar computer say my car needs an oil change and a service ,to boot,exhaust was rotten, dpf fillter was not working...paid out a lot.. make sure you check these guys take a mechanic with you and on your test drive get it up on some ramps. I would not recommend.

We visited Motor Market and met Dean who was brilliant. We bought a car and he helped us with finance which was successful. Since then we have dealt with Paul and today we picked up our Mercedes A class.
The service has been the best we have every received from a garage the efficiency is exceptional.
We would certainly recommend this garage.

I went to a fair few places where the price ranges were well above my budget before going to Motor Market. There was a wide range to chose from well within what I could afford here. There was no pressure from any sales, they were very helpful with any questions too, also got the car ready for me same day which was great. 3 month warranty with the sale, AA cover for a year, all round great buying experience, highly recommend

This is our 3rd car purchase from Motor Market and will absolutely be back again. Friendly helpful staff and really smooth process.
