I ordered a product from Mother's Earth and only afterwards noticed that a recurring subscription had been activated. I did not remember choosing it, so I went back and saw that the “Routine-Plan” was preselected and offered at a discount. The fact that this meant entering a monthly subscription was, in my opinion, far too easy to miss.
There was no clearly visible “Abonnement”, “monatlich” or similarly unambiguous wording indicating that I was agreeing to recurring deliveries. “Routine-Plan” does not, to me, clearly communicate “monthly subscription”. If you are not expecting a subscription (and with a cleaning product you don't), you can quite easily overlook it.
It is obviously legal, but I do consider the checkout design insufficiently transparent. I cancelled it successfully, but by no means should a subscription be the default setting when purchasing a cleaning product.

I love these washing sheets
I love these washing sheets. It’s excellent not to have big bulky plastic bottles to store and recycle every month.
I have found the cleaning quality of the laundry sheets and the dishwasher sheets excellent, and they smell great.
The delivery service is so swift and reliable. I also love that these products are Irish made.
Keep it up.

I was a little sceptical as to how this…
I was a little sceptical as to how this worked , but, it works really well . I did use another liquid eco product before i found out about Mothers earth sheets and Mothers Earth sheets match it, if not better . No animal testing , which means everything to me , No plastic to recycle ,and so simple to use , and all of our clothes are cleaned beautifully . I thoroughly recommend Mothers Earth I use Fresh Cotton , i am going to try different scents to see which is my favourite.

Subscription Scam
I never signed up for a subscription: I ordered once 1 year ago, now suddenly they want to send me regular packages. I am not even living on the address anymore. I did a chargeback and won’t be able to return the package. Also they ignore emails sent to customer support.

Unable to deliver
I was very excited to hear that they had PVA free laundry sheets, however the website would not let me order them as I have no house number in my address and it wouldn't accept the address without one. This has never been an issue when buying anything else online and the postman/couriers have never had an issue delivering to me. It's very frustrating that the website is set up like this as I was thrilled to finally find a brand that do PVA free sheets.
