I had a very unpleasant experience with a mortgage advisor called Dale last week He informed me that he had spoken to the underwriters that they would waive my CCJ. on my credit report by the lender a Building society. He gave me a mortgage in principle and went ahead to order a full RICS evaluation. When I chased the valuation I was told by the admin team that it had not been loaded onto the system. Fine I hustled wanted to know the value of my property I chased this with the admin team a few times I could see she was getting annoyed and asked to speak to a supervisor. I had called the surveyors who said it had been sent electronically. I think I offended the admin staff who later got Dale to send me an email that the building society refused my application due to the CCJ. Again the Surveyors report was never found.
I decided to write this review because the advisor said the service was free no it would have cost me £995 pound Not free. Then misled regarding CCJ again. The staff our very friendly but will only do the bare minimum please be warned.
Dale was only prepared to look at this one lender even when I asked him to check others. He said no because this lender was willing to waive the CCJ. Which again I don’t understand why would the lender then ask for a survey on my property if he was going to reject my application.
I would Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid. Very friendly staff but if you ask them to too many questions you will see another side of them.
Be aware nothing is free.
