I placed an online order for 500 litres of kerosene and received a confirmation email stating that the order had been successfully placed and was being processed, including the price and quantity.
The delivery was supposed to take place before 11 March but nothing arrived. When I contacted the company, I was told that the website had crashed and that no order had been received.
I still have the confirmation email issued by their system. Unfortunately, I have not received a clear explanation or a solution so far. Very disappointing experience.
I ordered heating oil from Morgan Fuels & Lubes on 28th February at an agreed price and paid with debit card, with delivery due 11th March. I phoned the afternoon of the 11th to ask what time it would arrive and was told that “our site crashed and we had no way of contacting you because we lost your details.”
Strangely though, they managed to email me three times, twice with quotes and once with the order confirmation.
The transaction on my debit card disappeared because it had been sitting as “pending” (as most do for around 5 days). Apparently they cancelled it within that window, so it no longer shows on my statement. I rang my bank and they were able to find it and confirmed the payment had been approved at the time, even giving me the transaction ID.
From what I understand, because it’s an unregulated industry they can more or less do as they please. The Consumer Council also said they’ve been receiving lots of similar complaints recently and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing so it’s not just this company that’s doing it and they are all using the same excuse.
The issue isn’t with the rising prices, it’s with cancelling an order after agreeing on a price and paying there and then which to me should be a binding contract. It’s just greed
Needless to say, I’ll remember Morgan Fuels the next time I need to order oil.
Excellent service as always. Have been dealing with Morgan fuels for years and have never had a complaint. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Avoid all self service pumps! Tried to put £10 of diesel into self service system x3 times, however machine didn’t recognise. £10 distributed £30 taken from account. Phoned company in regards to this, and they informed me £20 would be refunded to my card. 2 weeks later- nothing returned. Self service fuel machines are so outdated it’s unreal.
Two unsolicited emails. Requested removal from mailing list and told fine. Ten minutes later another one. GDPR means nothing to this crowd.
13 days to deliver oil is unacceptable for any company. Ended up buying emergency 40 litres at more than double the price of oil and turned out to be an expensive order for me, will not use again
First time ordering, ordered online because we were off work for a week, there was no notification of when the delivery would occur, but typically it was when we'd nipped out for an hour. Came back to a note that said they couldn't access the property because the gate was locked. We don't have a lock on the gate. We left the gate physically open and swinging in the wind for a week, still no delivery. I rang on Tuesday, the girl on the phone said she'd make a note on the account that there's no lock on the gate, would ask the driver to ring first, and it would probably be here on Thursday or Friday. It arrived on Friday, no phone call but the gate was still open. We received a notice of 899 litres delivered. I paid for 900. Even in the dark, I could see the mess on the lawn, big footprints, the line from the hose. I don't know why I assumed it was sand or something, it turns out it's home heating oil, all over my artificial grass. My husband has been out scrubbing it with a brush, hose, detergent, we'll see how it dries out. I'm not happy and I won't use Morgan's again, and I'll phone next week to discuss.
Haven’t had any issues using this company. Customer service has been great and they have always been around to answer any question I have

Excellent service and would highly recommend - Patrick Faloon in particular is very accommodating, very professional and deals with matters very quickly. Overall Morgan Fuels are a great company, no complaints and good to see them go from strength to strength and add continually to their list of services.

Brilliant company , I have used many other fuel card providers including Right Fuel Card and Fuelmate both have extraordinary charges I own a fleet of around 35 vehicles and have no issues even with me requesting extra cards in a rush and increasing my individual cards limits, Remel who set up my account has been fantastic all the way through and Victoria has been helpful and allways answered my questions quickly and efficiently, definitely recommend this company

Great company, providing clear and helpful advice and information. Elke (no longer there) was an absolute pleasure to have as my first port of call when needed.
Prices are always keen and competitive and whilst they are i shall keep using my card
This company is unworthy of even one star.
After over forty years in business this must be one of the worst companies I have encountered.
I won’t bore you with the details but the only ones I would recommend this company too are my worst enemies!
Having been in banking for many years and especially customer services they rate at the top in providing poor service and 0 in communication skills!
