I initially loved my Moonpod, but after persevering for nearly a year, I give up... It simply cannot cope with dust or pet hair (and I have a dog which doesn't shed much hair at all, but that's still too much for the Moonpod it seems!!) and I am constantly having to take it apart and thoroughly clean it out, which includes constantly washing the filters (more than what is recommended but that's still no good).

I bought a moonpod vacuum cleaner a few months ago and it worked well for a while but the charging point stopped working. I contacted the company and they did not reply for the last two weeks. I read many bad reviews but was still hoping that there is at least a year warranty on that hoover :(

I bought this hoover 4 weeks ago, and the 'shaft' has already snapped. I was asked by someone at Moonpod UK to send a picture/video which I duly did but have yet to receive a response. Just want to return it and have a refund please!😳

I don't want to even give this cleaner even 1 star,I bought this about 5 months ago.It stopped working after I used it about 5 times,after you start cleaning anything, it drops debris back on the floor as soon as the cleaner stops.It was purchased after I read a rating of 98 on a web site testing Hoovers.Totally scammed me,cost me about £170 for the privilege.I was looking for a cleaner for my car.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY or TYPKUR UK. !!!!! A scam company selling cheap vacuums. They are not meeting their statutory requirements and obligations and do not accept product returns. They have taken money from me for an additional accessory they did not deliver. Better taking £179 and putting it on the lottery. Horrific buying experience. Fake online reviews on sponsored links on Google suggest the product is better than all the rest. Google are part of the issue. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. People responsible should be jailed.

I am not happy with the vacuum cleaner at all. I am unable to take it apart, and I am unable to take out the bin for emptying. My husband had to use 2 spoons to get the bin out.
The parts are very stiff or too tight fitting. In addition it far too noisy and it is actually screeching.
It is really a total misfit with the big wheels under the brush, as it makes it very hard to manoeuvre.
The website Top Guidance that you advertise on should be banned, as it full of lies, “Danish Product” and everything it advertises is just not true.
At present I am considering to report the website to the Australian Scam Report.

Please do not fall for any false advertising via tech reviews. Checking out this company, like others, didn't initially raise the usual flags. I think by now it will.

Email service responds quickly to product enquiries before delivery. After delivery it's a different story. Our product stopped working very shortly after using. A video of frozen screen was requested and sent. Since then silence from their end. No response to any further emails.

Please do not buy from this company. If you are lucky and the product is still working, I think 'lucky' is the word.

Zero customer care and support once they've got your money.

If I could give them a zero i would.
Scammers, thieves - that's all this company is. Rubbish product that lasted for obe vacuum and then died.

Delivery was a little late, and when chasing up they were helpful, BUT...

Cleaner display froze after a few uses and refused to work. Have been constantly chasing for a fix, a refund, or a replacement, and they have gone completely silent and refuse to answer.

They are happy to take your money, but then leave you in the mire.

Oh wow, there are so many interesting comments here that are really worth thinking about! Anyway, I absolutely love the Hoover I received. It frees up my hands on days when I'm struggling to work with my hands, so who can define what is considered 'best'?What's more, 'price' and 'quality' depend largely on the customer's experience, don't they? Sometimes low-priced products are really easy to break, but the great thing about the Hoover is its after-sales service. I really love it!

Although thinking I was buying a Danish product (Ottena) soon discovered it was coming from China! Complained as soon as trying it on arrival (took ages to come) as didn’t suck up well (actually useless). They (Moonpod …. who???) asked for a video & would let their technicians see it - waste of time. Won’t accept a return & refund - would have to return to China at my cost & not covered if goes missing! Lost enough money already so £170 down - furious!!

This is a scam and they operate under several brands (Typkr/ Sohnne).

This company is posing to be a good danish design, but selling MoonPod vacuums which are cheap faulty products from china.

I ordered from Sohnne and asked to cancel as soon as I ordered, but they only got back to me 2 days later, when the item was shipped saying it was too late. Convenient.

Then when the product came and it was a MoonPod vacuum, I said they have shipped a different product but they said nothing was wrong.

I asked about the returns process. They sent a long email explaining I would incur all costs of shipping to china, the customs I would need to pay and if anything went wrong (item damaged in transit, item went to wrong address) I wouldn't be entitled to a refund. This is a clear attempt to set them up with a way of getting out of providing a refund that I wouldn't be able to argue against.

This cost me ~£180. Do not make the same mistake.

Total con! Faulty, Chinese products. Their customer service is a robot on repeat. They break all UK consumer laws and refuse to accept any responsibility, for selling faulty goods despite, their own terms and conditions which, they are happy to breach. They operate under different names Moonpod, Sohnne uk etc . Obtain a refund through your credit card company. Email this company and tell them ' Their goods are ready for collection. It's their responsibility to collect, faulty goods, not the consumers!

Avoid at all costs - Do not go near this product / company. This product was being advertised as a Typkur Vacuum cleaner. The marketing leads you to believe you are buying a Danish designed and produced vacuum cleaner. It is difficult to know who the company are as the website takes you to Moonpod UK - their advertising is clearly copied from other similar sites. The product arrived in a Moonpod labelled box and the vacuum cleaner also has Moonpod stickers on it. This produce is sold under many pseudonyms another one is SOHNNE.

I am trying to return mine but Moonpod will not provide any return information of shipping information - their return policy states must be returned within 14 days of delivery but they dont respond . Below is my most recent comms with them:

1. you need to return the product to China by yourself and bear the return shipping cost;
2. After the successful return, we need to deduct the relevant customs duty, as well as deduct 15% of the return fee;
3. If the product is damaged during the return process, it will not be returned.
4.The return policy states that the return address must be provided by us, the address on the parcel is not the return address for us, if you return the parcel to any other address other than the one provided by us, we will not be able to receive the parcel, and then all the losses will be borne by the buyer. Please do not return the goods without authorization.

If you want a full refund, you will need to return the item and pay for the shipping costs, as well as customs duties. Returning the item from your location to China will cost a lot of money and time.

In this case, how about we give you a refund of 3% of this order and you don't return the package? You can leave the item there as a gift for your friends or family.

Believed that the hoover I purchased was Danish after reading what looked like a legitimate review.
Arrived today and seems to work well, nice and light and quiet. Time will tell but really need to learn fron my mistakes and buy thw well known brands!!!!!

Firstly, I have to say how sorry I feel for the writers who have had a disappointing experience with their Moonpods. I am 78 years old, the owner of a Hoover upright which is a nightmare for me to heave around - thank goodness I live in a flat!! I decided, in July 2024, to look at handhelds - providing it wasn't a dyson - and found the Moonpod on a list of '5 best cordless vacuums'. It was a price I could afford, a weight I knew I could handle and, the biggest plus of all, it was quiet. So I ordered it and haven't had any regrets. I love it so much that I vacuum far more than I need to, which is a bit of exercise. Having spent 25 years working in Customer Service, I am well versed in picking out the 'trouble makers' who spend their lives complaining - you know who you are. I have no regrets about buying my Moonpod

Ok so I ordered this vacuum after reading some review online that said it's the best thing ever. I then saw the Trust pilot reviews and my heart sank.

It arrived today. It was expecting it not to arrive at all but actually it's really good. It's obviously not in the £200-400 handheld vacuum range but it has several power settings through a touch screen and tackled the stairs (I live in a townhouse with multiple children and cats) and it did a good job. I'm so pleasantly surprised. Some people might have had a bad experience but actually it's ok, the price might be high but it does the job and I'm happy with it. Probably should stop buying things online after three proseccos though but that one is on me....
