I ordered a sleep mask, which was too big (61cm instead of 58cm as written on the website...measured inside of the mask, not stretched). So the first product was not as described.
As there's only two sizes, I ordered the small one afterwards to check if this would maybe also be a couple of cm too big. Unfortunately the second product was too small, so I had to return both products, but the return was not accepted due to (CLEAR) SIGNS OF WEAR?!?!?! The SAME day the masks arrived, I contacted the customer service right away to tell them, I gotta send the products back.
Now they don't accept the return.
We're talking about 400 Euros here...
I even tried to write a review on their homepage, but they just don't allow bad reviews, interesting.
Also, they flag every bad review on here. My review was flagged for the 5th or 6th time now. For me this is the opposite of transparency. Not the best experience.

Sleep deprivation has been a reality of mine for years, resulting in negative impacts to my mood, my personal relationships, and to my work. I have experimented with a variety of sleep medications, mindfulness practices, and lifestyle adjustments but at the end of the day, my overly active mind seems to "win the day (or night!)."
My latest sleep experimentation has involved the use of feng shui techniques, bedroom color/visual aesthetics, and new bedding materials such as mattresses, pillows, bed frames, and pillow cases...which brings me to the focus of this review.
I never feel compelled to write product reviews, but for these Moonchild silk pillowcases I just purchased, I had to share what I believe is an amazing experience and result.
When I received the box of pillow cases, I was lucky that my 83-year-old mother was staying with me for a few nights so that we could compare notes in the morning over coffee about our experiences with these new pillow cases. She's also led a somewhat sleep-deprived life so she was the perfect "co-thinker" in this review.
First off, we were both highly impressed by the quality and durability of the packaging materials, which is nice to have as an accompaniment to the high quality of silk we received. As a guy, I hardly know anything about silk but my mom knew right away and said "ohhhhh" as she pulled the products from their packaging. My mom knew right off the bat that Moonchild silk was NOT “playing around" in terms of quality. But back to the packaging...these are the type of boxes you can use for all kinds of other things around the house!
But here are the more profound results...my mom and I both had an amazing night of uninterrupted sleep when using the Moonchild pillow cases. Usually, the both of us (she in Ohio and me in California) toss and turn, wake up groggy, and start the day with that crappy, but familiar feeling of "damn, I didn't get enough sleep last night!?!" We both surmised in our half-hour morning debrief that the silk pillow cases had MUCH, if not everything, to do with the fact that we had a full night of rest.
The other interesting thing is that for the first time in what seems like decades, we both did NOT automatically reach for the cell phone upon waking as our first action of the day. She in one room and me in another BOTH just laid in beds and enjoyed the feeling of what bed and rest was SUPPOSSED to be...a moment of consciousness and gratitude without a stupid cell phone in hand.
The other interesting thing we shared was the feeling of general positivity while in bed. I usually associate bed with tossing and turning and vivid dreaming that, more often than not, involves images of horror, anxiety, and darkness. My dreams while using these pillow cases were still vivid and lucid but for once in a long time, I actually saw smiling faces in my dreams. My mom, upon waking, faced the day not with racing thoughts and her usual and stressful "to-do" list. Instead, she focused on just staying in bed and looking outside of the windows of my place, which has many trees. We both took waking up as a "slow and graceful" moment versus a "groggy and chaotic" one.
My mom and I share more metaphysical and spiritual beliefs rather than religious ones. We discussed the spiritual and healing heritage of silk during our morning meeting and researched an interesting article that discusses how silk is produced by silkworms while creating their cocoons. The article goes on to describe how a silkworm goes through four stages in its life: egg, larvae, cocoon, and adult moth. These stages represent the genesis of life, the birth of the world, the death of the physical body, and the return of the flying soul. We compared this amazing life cycle to the process of sleep with the earthly materials of pillow cases and their results upon our physical, mental, and spiritual state of being as sleep ensues and how the body reacts after a good night's rest. Dating all the way back to the beginning of Chinese civilization, people believed that silk products had the power to connect with the divine. And there is nothing more regenerating and divine than a body well-rested.
Great products worth the money! They are a little more expensive, but the quality speaks for itself. Both the pillows and the sleep mask feel great and somehow I feel like I'm sleeping better.
The customer service is also great and answered my questions very quickly.
So if you want to try something different for your sleep and are willing to pay a little more, I highly recommend giving these products a try!
