I was a little apprehensive as this was my first time ordering a run of physical media from anywhere, and did the foolish thing of reading reviews *after* my order. I needed 200 hand-numbered *and* cellophane-wrapped CDs, and they delivered. Excellent communication throughout, excellent quality items, print came out well (even a slight raised lettering effect with the gloss option- classy!), CD worked on my PC, quick delivery, no nasty customs surprises into the UK (there's online calculators out there and that aspect came to what I expected). Great value as well. Everything went without a hitch. If they've not been this good in the past, they certainly seem to have learned and grown from it. Long may that high standard continue!

I had 100 CDs pressed for my upcoming album. The quality is extremely good, and the communication throughout the process was excellent - including some great advice to take advantage of Pantone printing for the discs themselves, and I'm really happy how they've turned out.

Everything plays perfectly and sounds exactly as expected. There was a small delay beyond their estimate, but only about 10 days (and I suspect they had a lot of orders come in from their autumn special offer).

I will definitely use Monotype Pressing again.

Been a customer of MonotypePressing for almost 10 years. Working with them for the past year or so has been a struggle. No one answering the emails, no one answering the calls, but when you place an order they do send the invoice fairly quickly. They do promise but never deliver, deadline are never met, or never even close to. Had to go through Paypal to finally hear back from them regarding my last order and the excuse was "we weren't aware you tried to get ahold of us and we're sorry for inform you your order has not been sent to production yet, please let us know if you'd like to move forward". What a joke.
Save yourself from the stress and work with a company that won't treat you like this.

Positives: Media and sleeves for a 7" single are excellent. Vinyl quality very good and the sound is absolutely perfect.
Weak: It took 6 months to deliver our goods.

Ordered €4500 of vinyl in October 2024, still don’t have them, and monotype won’t reply to email or answer calls… will keep updating, but it’s been over 6 months already.

I had a great experience with Monotypepressing, good communication, great service and I received the ordered cassettes exactly as I had them in mind.

Terrible communication, terrible customer service. Nobody answering the phone. Nobody replying to e-mails. Full of weak excuses. Every time there is a problem, they bury their heads in the sand or try to turn the problem on to somebody else; sometimes even you as the paying customer.

No insight or introspection for improving standards. Shameful. We will no longer be using their services and would advise the same.

Funnily enough, no delay in taking your money though ....

Don't let them drag your own good name through the mud with them. Avoid at all costs.

A fellow musician advised me to have my CD produced by monotype. What a disaster!

Communication was bad from the start. Immediately there was unnecessary delay to approve the files. Lots of unnecessary questions.

Finally there was a preview, it was good. The final CDs I received however were unusable. BE AWARE. Monotype cannot screenprint the center portion of the CD. This will not be sharp.

You have to pay in advance, but in case of a misprint, like this, you will not get a refund. Not even for the glass master. I would advise anyone who is serious about music to cancel this company. They are unreliable and only in it for the money.

The worst customer service I've experienced in my 25years of music career!

If they took a year to deliver your vinyl then you've been fortunate. For my album it's been two years and counting. They've given several ETA delivery dates which arrive and are then extended with convenient excuses. AVOID AT ALL COST

This is a broker company that will take your money and then not see through your orders with their plant TAKT in a timely manner.
I have several customers let down by Monotype with lead times of 'a few weeks longer than normal' which in some cases have been a year.
Yes the industry is struggling but lying about lead times in order to extract cash from customers is fraudulent. They still advertise fictional lead times. AVOID if you don't want your company reputation tarnished and your customers let down.

Scam site. Does not deliver, does not answer emails or anything. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!

They took my money via bank transfer and no longer replying to me. They are robbers.

Do not touch this company. Unprofessional and greedy people. Wasted my time.
