Fraud / Scam
Like others have said, £5.99 taken from my account without consent. Direct Debit. Seems to have occurred shortly after I went applying (in vain) to payday loans so please be warned, Moneycope must have got my details from them, but I can't say which one it was.
Will be demanding a refund and then reporting them to Barclays.
Moneycope are a scam

They are scammers, illegally taking money from my account, I've not had any email from them to set up any kind of payments, I am shocked they have been able to do this, do not trust them.... totally illegal scam artists

Since then I've had an email stating my DD has been set up - I've never heard of this company and certainly didn't give my consent.
Reported to my bank and will be contacting the relevant authorities regarding this clear scam.

SCAM - Direct Debit without consent!
They have set up a direct debit of £5.99 monthly without my consent. I do not know how they obtained my bank account details, but I certainly did not give this information to Moneycope. Nor did I give consent for a direct debit to be set up. I am certain of this. I emailed Moneycope customer services but surprise, surprise - they haven't replied.
I would suggest that anyone who has been affected by this to report the company to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
i don’t know why they cut my 5.99
They didn't have my consent
I have no recollection of signing up for this company's services and how did they even get my details. It's very alarming for me and waiting for them to remove the account they have created without my consent after sending them emails to do so.
