Opened a new cash isa from the Moneybox app, paid in for this tax year & transferred prior years from a building society.
Quick & simple steps

Seems ok. Transfered an isa. Think it showed balance though before it was complete, so threw my finances of a bit! Good rate for transfer- ins and everything worked so far. I like things simple and easy 😊.

Transfer of money was smooth but I found interest is paid yearly not monthly as other providers do so cannot check what interest is earned.
Following a reply from moneybox. I have amendedte rating as clarification is that the isa account interest is calculated daily and and paid each month. Thank Thank your money box.

Moneybox has a very intuitive app and easy to navigate. Like all online services, sometimes you need to speak to a real person and I found the chat function is super easy to do this. Once the AI agent worked out my issue it connected me to a human agent who was extremely helpful and worked through the issue well. Thank you Shanaz! Couldn't recommend more!

So far so very good ... my previous ISA suppliers had random payments random interest rates ... so far these guys keep it nice an clean its easy peezy ... great great great as promised

Opened a cash ISA with a good rate; the process was straightforward and quick. Once open I found it very difficult to manage the account via the app, which is massively over-complicated by all kind of other products/services that you keep being pushed to use (I had marketing notifications turned off but still kept getting notified about “exciting new offers” for pensions and other things I didn’t want). If you’re into all kinds of investments and experimenting with your money, this is probably great; if you’re looking for straightforward account to keep some cash in, it’s really not great.

Moneybox had been great from start to finish with my house purchase. I’ve had my money in a LISA for several years and had never run into any issues, with deposits taken and bonuses paid out. I had also run into some unusual circumstances following completion; Moneybox liaised with HMRC on my behalf to rectify the issue for me during the stressful time, keeping me updated periodically, through to resolution.

The transfer from another provider was a very smooth and efficient process

In the last year I have had a cash ISA and Lifetime ISA, completed withdrawals and even transferred my Lifetime ISA to another company.

Moneybox have been exemplary the entire time, never pushing me to stay and completing the transfer seamlessly and far quicker than expected. They're also super quick to reply to live chat and very knowledgeable there.

I already regret leaving Moneybox and will definitely be back for their other products in the future!

Easy to use app and site

App is a bit busy, would be nice to remove some of unwanted info. Would like to hide some of the insight panels if not of interest

So easy to use, to put money into, and recently bought a house and thought extracting the money would be difficult but it was surprisingly simple and quick. Really recommend for house deposit savings !

Have been with Moneybox for a few years now. I save small amounts but often. The app is really functional, giving you a projection of what you save over time, plus a comparison should you want to increase or decrease the amount. There is generous flexibility where you can invest your money, plus different risk options. Overall I would recommend Moneybox ⭐️

If only...

If only Moneybox had offered a decent, competitive interest rate on my Cash ISA after one year I would have kept my savings with them and added more.

Like other providers, they entice savers with a one year bonus but then fail to offer a competitive retention.

Easy to use and very trustworthy. I've used LISA what was a fantastic help for buying our first home. Savings accounts have the best interests and Stocks and Shares is so easy to use for someone who know almost nothing about stocks, currently on 32% return.
