Can no longer login,my son is gutted, don't bother, I know it's less than £20 but it's not worth the aggro when you can't access you're account, never been a problem logging in over a year on 5 different new build PC's but this time I can't get in, customer support is a joke ( not a funny one) send link after link for forgotten password, their worse than double glazing salesman, don't get you're child addicted then denied access unless you pay another £17 and start again, it's like blackmail! I'm surprised the rating is poor since all the games you make are sooo cool. It was probably really hard to code a game, for example Minecraft. I just want to let the mojang company know that they're doing the best.

I contacted their "expert.." umm as they call their team... wait for it "expert minecrafters" about how i still have access to my mojang account and not my email adress and ever since microsoft forced you to switch ur account to Microsoft even if you want to play java, which means im essentially owning a useless mojang account with minecraft on it, they told me oh go to your email provider i explained google hasnt responded for months and the "expert minecrafter," then told me he would transfer me to somebody else. Which has yet to happen. I think that their support team is literally volenteers that cant help with actually problems youd have and only problems like, questions a 7 year old would have, bad so called support team if they even have one seems like its people who just volenteer and dont have any power , crappy company.

The customer service is absolutely…
The customer service is absolutely horrible. I had been playing one of their products and realized I am glitches with a bug that other users are going through. When I reached out to customer service, they blamed the gaming console company and told me to reach out to their support. When I reach out to the gaming company, they said that this is a product issue. I sent Mojang the transcript of my conversation with the gaming console support, and they completely changed topic and tell me to reach out to yet another support. Mojang, this is your game in which multiple people have reported this one bug. This review is based solely on their customer service, not the games they produce.
This was for the PSN trophies "Om nom nom" and "Friend in need" not working in Minecraft Dungeons. If thus us an issue that Mojang nor PSN can fix, they need to hold a meeting and resolve the issue for gamers.

Awful customer service
We finally bought a copy for our kids and down loaded the Java version on our Mac for them. The game ran amazing for about 2 months and then one day when my kids were aloud some screen time they tried to log in and we would just get an error message 'oops something went wrong with the log in process'. I tried a few times fo fix it myself and them finally sought help through Mojang help center.
I havent never delt with a more inept help center in my entire life. I sent them all the required information to research my issue and they basically sent me a, did you turn it off and turn it back on again kind of reply. I replied back that I tried all their steps and still had an issue. They then sent me a set of instructions that were for a Windows PC, I sent and email back explaining that we are running on a Mac. Again, we get instructions that only work for a Windows PC. It was issues like this the whole way through and I have about 15 different messages back and forth with them and I didnt get any closer to solving the issue. I finally had to wipe my Mac and start over to get everything to work again.
Its a fun game but I pity you if you need help from Mojang's help center.

I have been playing Minecraft for around 8 years now, the game itself is fantastic. In terms of modern video games its in a league of its own.
If I was writing this review a few months ago, it would have been 5 stars, no question.
However, I recently found that any issues are encountered with the running of the Minecraft account such as your account being hacked, issues password changes, migration of old accounts to new email addresses, it is essentially a lost cause to reach out.
I've had my current account for 4 years and recently it was migrated to an email address that does not belong to me. I contacted Mojang support who were extremely unhelpful, with the first ticket I opened being rejected and subsequent attempts left unanswered. I would have been better off buying a new account than dealing with them, however I create Minecraft content as a source of income and my account name is heavily tied to my branding.
It is extremely frustrating to have my account unusable and even more so that Mojang simply does not care enough about the experience of its users to respond to issues in a timely or helpful manner.
TLDR: Excellent game but truly abysmal customer service and care.

don't get why people are spamming bad reviews, Minecraft is great, and if you don't get a response from Mojang, then they are busy! They are a huge company and put a lot of work into the game and you just spam bad reviews?! Some are just hate comments saying they hate Minecraft. Just ignore them, they are probably just bots making Mojang look bad! Keep up the good work Mojang. Ignore the stupid reviews you get.
Would give zero stars for the terrible…
Would give zero stars for the terrible customer service if they allowed zero stars. I never got a transaction id emailed after purchasing the game and put in a ticket to let them know. They replied with a canned response about losing the id and that they can't provide it to me and then closed the ticket... I am now on ticket number 4 and its the same thing. Even though I pointed out that their site says if I provide cardholder info, they can recover it for me. They just copy and paste a response and close. I need the invoice for work since it was purchased for a coding class and accounting needs the invoice. I cannot believe how bad this experience has been.
Fast customer support
Efficient customer support and fast replies, most of these 1 star ratings are from people who accidentaly deleted a world (something mojang cant help you with), or other bs. They are just wrong
AVOID ..LITERALLY STEALS YOUR MONEY
Awful....won't let you see your purchased games and blocks you from doing so by putting you into an endless cycle of "secure your account" upon where you keep filling in captchas and it warns you that you need to change security questions...upon which you click on it to change via email...only to find it cycles through to resending you another email....no possibility to change the actual security questions....
