Modern Merino takes Superfine Merino fibre grown on our 2 farms on Kangaroo Island and in the Adelaide Hills and gets it woven in Tasmania into luxury super soft throws, scarves, baby blankets and Shawls. Everything made in Australia. What makes us different is that we focus on the environment around us. We do tons of environmental work on our farms, and our sheep are non-mulesed and treated with the utmost care and respect. Unlike traditional wool our products are made from 17micron Merino so they are not itchy and scratchy. They have a wonderful soft feel that you only get from this great natural fibre.
