We have located your details and can see you have been Registered with us since March 2025. During this time we have put your son forward for 3 different bookings. You may be frustrated that you’ve not had any work. Modelling is competitive - the younger you are the more so. This is something we go to some lengths to explain in our initial calls to new applicants.
We don’t guarantee work but we will put models forward to clients whenever their look is called for but the final decision with who gets booked is down to the client. Some models we represent do not get selected for work - we make no secret of this, there are more models than work. Modelling is competitive and some models will not be selected by our clients. Models who are not selected will inevitably be disappointed - it's the nature of the industry - same for actors, singers, dancers, entertainers... any form of talent selection.
After applying to join Models Direct we will try to call you to discuss how we work and what it is you are looking for in a modelling agency. There are many misconceptions about the modelling industry and it is our job to set realistic expectations as well as explain what is required from you.
As you can imagine, there are many people enquiring how to become a model everyday and a significant proportion of our time is devoted to these calls. So, when you first apply the initial contact from us may seem quite high as we explain how we work, what pictures we need and how to set up your portfolio. However once you are up and running, the need for input from us is reduced.
We take all complaints seriously and if you would like to discuss these issues further please feel free to contact us on 01603 895091 so we can look into this matter further. I paid and its been nearly 3 yrs, never hired a single second! Just stupid emails that someone viewed your profile. So what?
I really am dissappointed by this company. Wasted time and money. They just make money off people paying for nothing. Ridiculous!

Gave them money and stop communicating with us.
I signed up, wasn’t given much information. Paid the fees and I’ve been ignored for weeks, all my calls and messages. Really appalling, and unprofessional. I am starting to feel like I’ve been scammed. This was a registration for my son. They made out like he was selected to be a model, however have ignored me and my wife since. Voicemails, emails and also a letter. Avoid at all costs.

Relaxing, warm and inviting experience so fun!
Working with this company was such a genuinely lovely experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth, kindness and a really positive atmosphere. Even though the session was fast-paced to fit everything into the timeframe, the team made sure I felt comfortable and supported throughout.
They walked me through every part of the process as many times as I needed, offered drinks, set up a portable heater because the warehouse was cold, and made sure I had privacy whenever I needed it. They also helped with hair and make-up, and their photographer was so friendly and reassuring — it made the whole shoot feel relaxed, fun, and natural rather than strict or pressured.
There were lots of smiles, lots of laughing and so much encouragement. I genuinely enjoyed every shoot and working with their products. Overall, it was such a lovely experience and I would 100% work with them again.

My daughter recently participated in an advertising project with Model Direct, and the experience was truly wonderful. The team did an excellent job making the day great. They clearly explained what she would be doing, when she would be doing it, and made sure she felt comfortable throughout the process.
She especially enjoyed working with Julian Cohen, who played the piano during the shoot. Everyone was professional, friendly, and supportive, which helped her feel confident and excited. The communication was clear from start to finish.
Overall, Model Direct handled everything very well, and my daughter had a fantastic experience.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! My partner has been scammed by this company, he paid the initial fee of £160 in the promise they would get him work but he has had no contact from them since September. He has tried to contact them multiple times but no response! Terrible communication and service. Do not sign up!!

An easy and enjoyable day
I had a job for a music company running a public event in which they had a section for anyone to come up and use their product. I had to fill any empty space by playing around with it myself to encourage others to get involved and so, they could get some footage of this section of the event that they could use in their promotion.
This was my first job and is quite an unusual one so, was unsure what to expect but overall found it to be fun and easy which quickly put to rest any fears I had. Everyone involved was very friendly and helpful, everything went smoothly and I had a very enjoyable day.

A really great experience with this shoot
I had a great experience with this shoot especially because of the friendly and highly professional team I worked with. They really helped me feel relaxed and at ease. Made at a city centre location, it was primarily a video shoot involving me ‘working from home’ working on and printing from a desktop …. so some short close up sequences were recorded along with the more wide angle shots.
The shoot took about 4 hours, I left on a high - and can’t wait for my next shoot. Brilliant !
The team at Models Direct were absolutely fabulous throughout …. so a huge ‘thank you’ to them too.

Modelling for The Women’s Institute
I arrived on time at the most gorgeous property to model for The Women’s Institute. Lucy greeted me with a welcoming smile as did the cameraman. I had great fun being filmed knitting, reading, working on a laptop and finally yoga.
