ONE DAY, this ruthless company locked me out of my account with 12k invested over 2 years worth of bitcoin. When asked why I was suddenly unable to access my account they said they couldn't provide a reason during this time. I tried escalating it to a manager, only to hear the same SH* T from them too.

They sent me back my remaining investment AT A F* CKING LOSS. I URGE YOU STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!!

There is still money in my account I need to withdraw it can you help me please?

Where good until they scammed us. I had some bitcoin in the app. But ever since they had remove the app. I've lost my coins.

Well after reading the bad reviews I don't think I will bother with it thanks for the heads up

I have tried to access my account for the last 5 weeks.
They say it is a technical problem and they are resolving it.....but after this long a believe something else is very wrong. They simply don't want me to access my account and withdraw my money. Support no longer responds.

This company doesn't make any withdraws at all!!!!
I requested my account to be closed multiple times and send my money back to my bank but they refuse to because they claim "my bank is a scam"
THEY ARE HOLDING YM MONEY AGAINST MY WILL AND ARE NOT CLOSING MY ACCOUNT.
AFTER 3 weeks of going back and forth I made my decision of going to the police and going to court to take my money back

I have had 25k of my hard earned money frozen by these people. I kept getting told 2-3 days would be the longest it would take but now I’m getting ignored after every email and even in the live chat. I’ve sent all proofs over such as bank statements, payslips and other proofs as well. They’re ignoring me with no reply at all or any updates

So, not only you don't receive BTC cash back even if you have cookies enabled on you browser, you can't even transfer out your entire BTC holdings unless you do the fees calculation and enter the amount minus the fees into the app yourself.

You'd think the app should be able to do simple/basic math nut you'd be wrong.

I tried to transfer my entire BTC holding out of Mode into a proper exchange (why would I use Mode if the only thing they are known for, which is getting BTC cash back on your purchases does not work) but when you get to the confirmation screen, the app adds the BTC transfer fees to your BTC holdings and then tells you, you have "insufficient funds" and cannot make the transfer :))))

Got in touch with support and they say, you should enter the number of BTC you want to transfer minus the transaction fees!! Never heard anything like this.

Anyway, I've had enough of Mode.com so I didn't want to argue the point. I entered the "correct" amount to be transferred and done.

Now the issues is, unlike all other crypto apps I've used, the app does not show the status of the transfer so you are blind to what's happening.
Just have to have my fingers crossed that the mode.app can at least work when it comes to making transfers.

I'd hate to think if this does not go through and I have to deal with their support again.

And, dear Mode.com please don't bother responding to this message with your usual "get in touch with our support team" generic message.
I contacted them before and they were no help.

I like this app, for me I use android and it works really well. Ok the fees to send btc are always going to be ridiculous because of the gas fees the network charge....not mode. Doesn't work so well on iOS. My daughter(iOS user) had to log in on my phone to sell her btc and withdraw . For some reason she was unable to input her bank details in the app on her phone.

Update still haven’t paid me my cashback cons

I used a similar service when studying in the USA but Mode have taken this to a new level with the quality of brands, the high percentage of cashback, and the app wallet that the Bitcoin is deposited into. (when I was in the USA and using a different service, it was a browser plug-in (desktop only) and didn't include a wallet to store bitcoin.

I now check the Mode cashback vendor list before making any online purchases - so far 8/10 they have had the brand listed - and I'm getting cashback in Bitcoin at the best possible time (during a dip).

What's not to like?

Been waiting for over a month for Mode to make it possible for iOS to withdraw their SAT points. You can’t and Mode Customer Service don’t know when iOS users will ever be able to. I will not use Mode until you fix your iOS app, awful UX - screens get lost in layers and you can’t enter simple values.

Such a deceptive company.

1. Said I would get 10% BTC cash back for my first purchase, but no it only gave me 5%.

2. It says I need '25000 SATS' to withdraw the cash back I just received.

3. And to top it all off, the app is very poorly made and riddled with bugs. As a full-stack web & mobile software developer I cannot express how bad this app is, its like a car with the windows on the floor & the steering wheel at the backseat.

Real talk, if you start developing some basic human morals as a company I'll develop you a clean cross-platform front-end for your application for a fraction of whatever you paid the abomination of the app you have now, though I wouldn't be surprised if you paid me 2p as you would have my sympathies if your budget for your current app was anything over £10.

I see they are replying to negative reviews with the typical "we're sorry but our policies are right here bla bla bla...", your policies are made not to be read so you can prey on unsuspecting users, don't bother replying unless you're going to unlock the rewards you've deceptively held from me and the countless others you've conned.

Great brand selection now, I’m trying to migrate lots of my purchases here.

Clear and simple, no clutter, no hassle. Love the black & white theme, looks great in dark mode too. Easy way the buy, track, sell & send bitcoin. Brilliant.

Great little app takes a moment to get used to but the more I use it the better it gets only given it 4 stars as I still haven’t learnt all the features but looks amazing.

Clunky, glitchy app. Support admitted the Rewards withdrawal feature has not worked since the start. Why release the feature if it doesn't work without testing it? Can't provide a fix date, company doesn't care. Not able to withdraw Rewards for weeks now. Awful app. Lots of better platforms to chose from. Don't waste money and energy on Mode.

Easy to buy and hold btc. Can't wait to see what additional brands are added where I can receive btc cashback.

I signed up last year after hearing of the Bitjar where you could earn interest on your BTC. Was disappointed as it had in fact been withdrawn. After this set-back, the app has in fact grown on me a lot and I find it easy to purchase BTC when I want. The spread and fees seem fair and it is nice to support a British tech start-up rather than a huge foreign CEX. I have easily sent my BTC to other accounts from the app too. I'm hoping Mode can really innovate their products and not be over-regulated by short sighted government policies. What about paying interest too on GBP deposits?
