Wish I could give zero stars

Wish I could give zero stars. It has been one complete year and never received any product. I never even received any updates after they confirmed my order. They have yet to be transparent about what is happening with the company, which is very unprofessional. If you’re still thinking about placing an order after everyone’s reviews, please don’t.

I was robbed for my money!!

I placed multiple orders back in August of 2020 and tried being patient due to COVID-19 but I have never received my orders. I’ve tried contacting them via email multiple times and Facebook with no response from them. I just want my refund at this point! I have never been so disappointed by a company and I feel like I’ve been scammed!!!! Run for your life! Don’t ever purchase from Mocha Whip!

Please DO NOT BUY from this company

Please do not buy from this company. It is not legit. They are scammers and thieves. They’ve stolen from hundreds of people for YEARS now by accepting orders but not fulfilling them. They had to delete their original Facebook page because of the backlash they were getting. They delete negative comments and posts on both Facebook and Instagram. I only received a refund after months and months of no response because I threatened legal action. They gave me a coupon code to use as well to retain me as a customer. After my anger calmed down, I decided to give them a second chance with the coupon code (many months later). They never fulfilled that order either.

Product Never Came

Ordered in June, got tracking in August, never received product and they haven’t responded to any outreach. At this point they’re basically a scam.

ETA 1/20/21: after this review I sent one last email and FINALLY received a refund. It appears the company has gone out of business, even though none of their social media reflects that. So if you’re still waiting, reach out one last time for that refund!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

I purchased two items from this company after an influencer that I follow promoted them. I ordered the products back in June and haven’t received any contact from the company other than asking for patience with orders due to COVID-19. (Plus USPS was dealing with orders being misplaced or taking longer than normal to delivery because of funding for the department.) I have tried to email the company on numerous occasions, as well file a complaint to the better business bureau. All I’ve gotten is radio silence. I’m going to talk to my bank to get the money back and report them on every social media I can find for them for being fraudulent.

Do not buy from this company!!!

Took several weeks-months to receive my order and when I did items were missing. They acknowledged the omission and stated the items would be shipped the next day. 4 months later I still have not received the items or a refund. Subsequent emails have been ignored. Do not buy from this company!!!!

I ordered on August 1st

I ordered on August 1st. I even messaged them to find out how long it would take to get my order. They said 30 days.. it is now November 1st and no order. I’ve contacted them several times (7 to be exact) and nothing. I used Amazon Pay snd even contacted them but the email that they were using is now not working. I can’t believe this! Money gone with no product - no update- no response.

disappointment

Same story here, I love supporting small businesses. But this experience was disappointing. I was very patient from the beginning. I never did receive my product. I ordered in July of this year. I gave a fair amount of time before emailing for a status along the way and they did respond. Finally, after no product or update, in September I asked for a refund. I followed up on the refund request, but no response was given, so I called the bank to dispute the charge.
I am sorry it did not work out. My issue is this, when it is time to refund the money, please do so. Even if I hear that they worked out their issues, I will not be ordering from them.

Four Months Later, Still Haven't Received Order

Same complaint as everyone else. Placed an order a little over $50 on June 1, 2020. Shipping label was created August 3, and I didn't have an issue with this, as they had explained the pandemic made shipping and getting ingredients a little more difficult. However, it is now October 18. The label is still listed as created and I never received my order. I have repeatedly emailed, filled out the form on their website, sent Instagram messages, Facebook messages, and I have heard nothing. I even messaged the owner on Facebook today, saying that I hated it had to come to this but at this point I needed a full refund. Still have not heard. I am wildly disappointed and will warn folks NOT to place an order from this store.

After months of not receiving my order…

After months of not receiving my order nor hearing back from them I contacted my bank and got my money back. I have yet to hear back from them after emailing them about a refund or status of my order. This is my second review so that people know, if you order from them you’re basically giving your money away. I had orderered back in June and after a few emails from them saying they’ll deliver soon eventually they stopped communicating. I will continue to support black Owned business just not this company!! Save your money people!

Only received 1 of 3 orders I made

Im shocked that I received thos email to review this website. I made an order last October 2019 and I never recieved it (22035). I reached out to ask about my order and never heard back. I decided to to give them another try. So I ordered again in May 2020. It looked like I was going to end up wasting my money again so I reached out about my first and second order. Someone actually contacted me and said they were sorry and they would send both orders. I only recieved the second ( S-2716) two months later. Stupidly ordered again because I actually really love the products. This time I ordered a few different products (S-4185). That was back in July 2020 and have not received my receive my order. It is frustrating because I absolutely love their products. The customer service is horrible. Why would someone continue to take peoples money if they are unable to fulfill orders. This has frustrated me so much I decided to start making my own products. It's a shame because the products are amazing but what's the point of buying anything here if you're not going to receive it.

They have gone downhill

Many people started supporting black businesses this year due to the political and racial climate of this country right now, but I have been a loyal supporter of Mocha Whip for over two years and can attest to the fact that they do have a great product. However, There was a time before that I did not receive an order that I placed with them, and any order placed with this business will typically take at least a few weeks to one month to reach you (they give you a whole story about being patient with them because their products are handmade, etc).

Needless to say, my patience has run out. Black business or not, it is fraudulent, unprofessional, and immoral for them to continue to allow their site to be up and running and accepting orders knowing that they cannot fulfill the demand. It is now October, and I placed an order (spent around $40) back in early June. This order was meant to be a birthday gift for a friend whose birthday was in AUGUST. They had a message on their site stating that production was slowed due to COVID, but slowed is an understatement at this point—it has stopped completely. They have since halted acceptance of all new orders but have not fulfilled orders from 3-5 months ago. Like other commenters, I have sent multiple emails asking for either a refund or an update regarding my order as it looks as if it hasn’t even shipped. I have heard no response from them at all and will be reporting them to the BBB and just canceling the charge on my account. Will not support or recommend them ever again and hope that they sort out whatever is going on.

Beyond Disappointed

I ordered June 5th and I was issued an order confirmation on August 31st. Needless to say, I do not have my products sitting on my counter waiting to be used. I am beyond frustrated with them. I have reached out at least three times to get an update, however, no response. I hate to think that I was just conned. But it's not looking too good for this company. I would almost fully understand if something happened to the family and they had to issue a further delay notice to the customers. But they are mute. We know nothing. And at this point I want my money back.

Never received

Placed my order (S-3356) early June. Received a couple of updates about delays due to Covid which is understanding. On August 3rd, I received a tracking order and notice that my order shipped. However, it is now end of September and no change in tracking order and no word from company. I’ve sent multiple emails for an update or a refund. No response. I was really looking forward to trying their products. I do see on their website they have not been taking any more orders to catch up on current orders despite what other reviews have stated.

Taking our money!!

I place an order with them in the beginning of July. I've tried writing them through email and their site and there's no reply. I went to their instagram and they have to private. It's almost been 3 months and still no say about orders, delays, if we can refund,and what is going on. If they want to keep customers they need to communicate what is going on. We've spent our money on their product and they need to be responsible and tell people their will be a delay or issue out refunds if they cannot fulfil our orders. They're scamming us at this point. Yes I know Covid is putting a damper on a lot of deliveries and businesses, but if you can't handle it or give people their orders, take your site down and give out refunds inside of making people believe they will get their orders on time or at all.

COVID MADE YOUR CARELESS!

I am so 😡 mad that I supported this business!!! I am truly patient and understanding when it comes to dealing with delays from COVID however, what I cannot be understanding to is neglecting your customers. When you do so THEY LEAVE YOU! taking their page private and not responding to consumers is horrible and inconsiderate. During a time where retail is just about dying, you have people who genuinely want to support you and you can’t even have the decency to respond to us. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK

I have ordered from this company before and the first time the shipping took about 3 weeks to come in. My most recent order was on July 1st and as of today I yet to receive my order. I have emailed them and stalked their IG page. Multiple people are complaining about this company. I realize that there has been an increase in the support of black owned businesses and they could be overwhelmed. Then with the pandemic who knows what is happening. But it is a common courtesy for businesses to update their customers about orders or the status of production. They continue to accept orders from people knowing that they are not or cannot fulfill them! All I’m saying is SAVE YOUR MONEY, ORDER AT YOUR YOUR RISK! You may never get your order.
