Awful service, ended up canceling the order as no one knew what was going on or could give me a delivery date. Been waiting 2 weeks already. Lets hope the money comes! 10 days for it to reach me - never heard of waiting that long.

Not entirely satisfied with my experience, ordered a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge, took payment then received email saying not in stock but could offer me other version of same model phone. All good , so said go ahead, received email 3 days later to say that phone not in stock either and would take between 1 and 2 weeks to come in from supplier, then 48 hours to prepare then another 6-8 days to deliver. Cancelled order via telephone and requested refund. Pretty good communication and refund received the following day, disappointing not to get phone though.

Avoid.

Ordered Nikon binoculars. 3-7 day delivery. 10 days later no delivery and no message from Mobicity. But they had my money. I used online chat and was told the order was going to be 2 more weeks. I asked for a refund and was told I could have a refund and it would be auctioned internally in 10 business days.

I have just spent some time researching the cost of a Casio Watch.

Three web sites stood out for having a price well below that of their competitors.

I read reviews on Trustpilot for each site, and appalling reading it was.

Intrigued, I revisited each site to see if there were any connections.
Immediately I noticed that each site offered you the chance of an offer, which turned out to be £5 off your purchase if it was over £100 and you enrolled for their newsletter, and a chat facility is offered, with the same picture of a woman telephonist on each.

All three sites, in their " About us " section, say that they were established early 2011 by a team of passionate gadget geeks .........

I have telephoned each number.
A voice recorded message is encountered on each number, and the message to the caller is exactly the same.
I am no voice recognition expert but the female voice sounds very much alike in each instance.

I could not locate an address for Mobicity.

MilkyWay group say that they acquired Venturedirect and Mobicity in 2016. They describe themselves as a group of geeks who love gadgets and say they were formed in 2010.

As Onedigitals share the same address in Hong Kong as Venturedirect I am certain that they too are part of this group.

Many of the reviewers of each of the three aforementioned sites mentioned difficulties in obtaining their goods or a refund of their payments.

Something very untoward is going on
here and reviewers are obviously suffering stress from their experiences.

Don't be fooled by the nice website. Item out of stock after taking the money. No communication on getting a refund after two emails and calls to an answer phone. Organising a chargeback with my bank.

This website on 17/07/2017 and they keep on telling me that they are out of stock but I already paid in full
So far even their latest deadline which was 04/08/2017 has passed, the order has eventually been cancelled but I did not receive a refund yet, it looks like I will have to raise a chargeback with my credit card company

Very good service. Kept well informed throughout and very pleased with delivery which was easy to track and one day earlier than predicted.

I ordered a phone from them nearly a month ago, it was supposed to be on a 6-8 day delivery, my order has still not been sent, I had to email them twice before I eventually got a response 5 days later telling me some story about warehouse delays, but promised to get back to me, another week later still nothing its all just excuses.
Do not use these people, they clearly don't have the stock to sell. Save yourself the hassle, pay more money and buy from someone else who CAN supply your order.

Misleading website and poor customer service - Order a phone based on the promise of 6 to 8 days delivery, after 5 days chased by e-mail with no response. 2 days later phoned customer service to be told I would be updated by e-mail of a delivery date by the end of the day. No e-mail arrived and when I phoned the next day was informed there are out of stock for at least 10 days. On cancelling my order I was informed it would be 10 working days to receive my refund, despite having already held my money for 10 days.

I ordered and paid for my camera ,,,then read the reviews!, ! Omg,,,, I was so worried that I had been scammed,, most of the reviews were terrible.
But I can not fault Mobicity one bit,,,, I had a date of delivery for 11th July,,, but no parcel,,,so on the morning of the 12th I rang their customer services,,,got straight through and was told my package had left the warehouse on 5th July, so if not received in x2 days to call back. Anyhow my camera arrived this afternoon. All I perfect working order. Thank you

Glad to hear they actually exist! I ordered a camera 3 weeks ago and they haven't even sent it out yet, despite delivery time of 6-8 days. Impossible to get in contact - their phone has an answer message that tells you to phone back in working hours, even though it's working hours when I phone them!

First of all, my Galaxy S6 Edge phone arrived after 15 days and not standard shipping (arrives with you within 6-8 days after departure from our warehouse.
Secondly, my phone died after 7 months.
I have been fighting with technical support for 10 days to get it repaired/replaced.
They keep asking to send pictures of the dead phone.
Now they are asking to unlock the phone and to provide the password.
What type of support is this?
I have never seen this in my life.

Conclusion, pray for your product to work, make sure you take an extra warranty, or simpler, do not buy with MOBICITY...

Cheap price (£60.00 less than RRP) , good quality and moderate delivery speed (1 week).

Robbers! They do not send ordered items, rarely respond and customer service line is just a machine! If you paid them with credit or debit card call your bank on the number of the back of your card and ask for Chargeback (try emailing company first). I have got my money back thanks to my bank (in UK).

Mobicity is part of MilkyWay Distribution. There are many bad reviews for all companies in the group. I'd advise anyone with any concerns to contact the HongKong Consumer Council. Contact them or just copy them in at the first sign of any problems: cc @ consumer.org.hk

Disgraceful. Quick to take your money but fail to deliver. Do not respond to requests for updates. Very plausible but a complete sham. Should be closed down. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID!! not a UK company based in Hong Kong take your money easily, but never delivery or communicate, i have spent a lot of time on all forms of communication with these charlatans easily outweighing the money saved and 4 weeks in i dont have anything... when i call or online chat I still get fobbed off with the same excuse "it will be 48hrs before we can give you an ETA" madness. these guys just need removed from the internet as an option for uk buyers and the name with uk limited in it is a farce.

Do not use - simple as that - cancelled phone order after 6 weeks of waiting.... 5 weeks after that cancellation - still awaiting the refund

Please, please, please avoid this company.

If it looks too good to be true, it's because it probably is. I ordered an electrical item in good faith two weeks ago. No communication, no item. I contacted them and they say they don't have and never had the item in stock!

After many E Mails they decided to cancel my order (which they cannot fulfil). I am still waiting for my refund.

Avoid. Pay more and buy your item from a reputable seller who actually have items for sale. Shocking.

If you have had issues you can make a free complaint to the Hong Kong Consumer Complaints Comission. It's a simple online form and hopefully they can address this poor company MobiCity and the parent company Milky Way Distribution.
