MM Office supplies contacted us nearly 10 days ago on our main telephone number (this was a cold call) and asked us if we would like to place an order with them.
We made a request for a few items on a credit account which they said we had 30 days payment terms. They then offered us £1000 discount (rather a lot for a 5k order) if we paid on a card. We had no intention of paying on a card as we had just been offered 30 day credit terms regardless of if they offered us the discount or not, we just don’t budget to pay out 5k in stationary on the spot after a cold call.
They said they tried to delivery Friday 22nd (lies) they then said they were delivering again today (more lies) I called them to see where the order was and they said it was refused at the delivery point (again more lies)
Finally they admitted that they weren’t going to deliver it as “The site looked dodgy”
Well I’m afraid when setting up a third office in the space of three months we all have to start off somewhere. We have new offices in the cabins, new toilet blocks and storage on site as well as multiple workers and hired plant.
I’ll leave you with the final email from “Dan Pigeon from MM Office supplies to us....
“Not a normal way to react, looks like someone has been caught out for sure !!!!!!!!
