1 Star – Avoid ML Performance at All Costs

I’m writing this review to warn others before they end up in the same situation I’m currently dealing with. Currently £1500 out of pocket.

ML Performance took full payment for an item they could not supply, did not order, and are not authorised to sell.

Since then, I’ve been stuck in a PayPal dispute trying to get my money back.

MP Performance issued an eCheque refund that bounced. To date ML Performance has still not issued a refund, despite having no proof of dispatch, no order with the manufacturer, and no ability to fulfil the purchase.

As you can see, many other customers reporting the exact same pattern:

Orders not being placed with manufacturers
Items advertised as “in stock” when they are not
Refunds delayed for months
Recycled excuses sent to multiple customers
Pressure to sign agreements that waive rights

This is not an isolated incident — it appears to be a systemic issue.

I’m now relying on PayPal Buyer Protection to recover my money, because ML Performance has not resolved the situation themselves. PayPal are also very slow to help me, so I would also very seriously reconsider using PayPal for any purchases over £1000

I wish I had checked Trustpilot before ordering. Hopefully this review helps someone else avoid the same experience.

It’s a scam. They just take your money, nothing arrives and when you ask for a refund they say wait 14 days.

14+ days later they will blame system problems and say they can’t find your account.

They are Indian scammers.
If you have bought something then report it as a fraudulent transaction to your bank.

Failed to deliver, failed to refund, avoid at all cost!!!

This company is utterly useless. Vehicle battery never arrived. Chased after 2 weeks, and told its out of stock ! Requested immediate cancellation & refund which takes upto 14 days !!!

Refund not processed after 14 days, chased again, got slow response days later to be told it will be chased up urgently and ahould be completed in next couple of days.

Still, nothing ! Chased again and told computer system is down and would be refunded as soon as this is working !

I gave up after a couple more days and raised the issue for a refund through PayPal will evidence, and they refunded me immediately.

This pattern seem to be normal with ML Performance having read a few other reviews !

This is my 2nd very poor customer experience with ML Performance, so I will NEVER order from them again ! Absolutely shocking company, and probably a SCAM hoping to make money from people who forget or fail to seek a refund !

Put two orders with them on their supposed January, new year discounts! Fake. One month later the parts have not arrived and refunds are not issued. They send for a supposed "glitch" that prevented them to send any refunds. Their website is down now for more than a few weeks (that is actually good as their website doesn't reflect real stock). Avoid guys. Just buy from the original sellers (same price, no headaches). You will not get any positive/different experiences from ML "performance".

Clearly scammers. I didn’t read the reviews on here before ordering but my order followed the same process as all the other negative reviews. They took payment on an order and promised 2-4 day delivery. They then contacted me to say it would be a 2 week delay. I cancelled and they said it would take 14 working days for the refund. 14 days later, no refund and I was told shopify was down. I ended up initiating a PayPal dispute to get my money back. Avoid at all costs!

Read reviews! I ordered diff oil for e92 M3 they then said it was out of stock wait 12-14 days for refund. 4 weeks later and emails saying there having technical issues with refund. Went through PayPal luckily and they refunded me! AVOID this company.

SCAMMERS stay clear of this company. im in dispute with them via Paypal. Thier number will put you on hold for 3 mins and then cut you off, the email address bounces back. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY

2 months after returning a part im.still waiting for a refund, PayPal cant help and surprise surprise system down, how this company hasn't be investigated is beyond me and as of today their email doesnt work either

Ordered E30 washer jet. Subsequently learned not in stock. Then told there would be delay of 3-4 weeks from Germany because of supplier issue. This time elapsed and I emailed to enquire. Was told there were further delays 3-4 weeks and asked for my thoughts on this. I requested a refund and got no reply. I sent another email, got no reply. Made a number of calls- never an answer. Sent one final email saying if I didn't receive a refund, I'd report the matter to the bank and trading standards. No reply. Contacted PayPal, received refund. They are going to look into this further and trading standards will be notified too. AVOID THIS SELLER.

So I ordered a IE PCV delete kit almost a year ago now, every time I enquire i get a new expected date and the same supply excuses, now they wont answer my emails or my phone calls, even hanging up on me. I just want a refund now, cant even get that. Avoid at all costs.

bloody ridiculous and unfair

SCAM WEBSITE. It unfolds like this: place order for competitively priced item. A week or so later, chase it up. Get told it’s not in stock. Ask for a refund. Get told refunds take 14 days. Chase two weeks later, get told their systems are down. Chase a week later, get told systems are still down. The penny drops; you’ve been scammed. AVOID THIS SELLER.

Ordered a turbo realised it’s the wrong one instantly cancelled and still weeks later haven’t had my money back it cost £3300 pretty much absolute joke.

They are obviously scammers. Just avoid them if you value your time and money,

I placed an order for a set of polyurethane bushings for a total amount of €327, which was paid in full via bank transfer/card. At the time of purchase, I was promised a delivery window of 5 business days.
​It has now been 13 days since the transaction, and I have received no update, no tracking information, and no response from the seller. Upon further investigation and checking customer reviews, I realized that this website is a known scam operation with numerous similar complaints from other victims.
​I am deeply frustrated that such a site is allowed to operate despite the high volume of reported fraud cases. I would like to initiate a chargeback procedure (or a payment recall) to recover my funds, as the service promised was never fulfilled and the seller has cut off communication.
​Don't waste your money!

Avoid like the plague. Part ordered 05/01/2026. Took 4 months to get a refund. You'll get their generic "system issues" excuse, but you'll never actually receive a refund until you threaten legal action.

Wish I read all the other similar reviews.
Company needs shutting down.

Ordered a part in August 2025, which never turnt up. Back and forth emails asking where it is and they kept saying they were having issues with shipping.

Fast forward January 2026. Requested refund. They said 10-14 days for refund. Still haven't received my refund and we are now mid April 2026.

Starting to think will I get my money back. I am definitely going to be reporting them to trading standards. This company need to he closed down. Reading loads of reviews similar to mine.

Ordered item that showed was in stock back in Jan 26, no updates from them and I had to keep on requesting ETA. Was always told it will be in 2 weeks but guess what, it wasn’t. After 3 months wait I have requested a refund, and guess what, refund will be in 2 weeks. No customer service and falsely state items are in stock to get you cash.
