5 star Team

I cannot recommend Dr. Mohit and his incredible team highly enough! I recently brought my five-year-old daughter, Nia, for her very first dental check-up. As it turned out, she needed fillings on two of her milk molars to prevent her from being in pain.
As a parent, I was naturally nervous, but the team at MK Dental was absolutely phenomenal. They were so incredibly patient and gentle with her. Understanding that she’s only five, they made sure to give her plenty of breaks throughout the procedure and kept her calm and comfortable the entire time.
Nia walked out describing it as a 'five-star' experience! Thank you, Dr. Mohit, for your professionalism and for being so wonderful with Nia. If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares and has a magic touch with little ones, this is the place to go."

INVISALIGN IS A SCAM IN THIS CLINIC

INVISALIGN IS A SCAM IN THIS CLINIC
I had a very disappointing experience with Invisalign treatment at this clinic, specifically under DR. MOHIT

I started Invisalign with great excitement ahead of my wedding. After completing 10 aligners, I experienced facial trauma. Following this, I believe there was a lack of proper investigation and poor clinical judgment by DR.MOHIT, which ultimately led to me undergoing a root canal treatment on one of my upper teeth.

Shortly after, DR.MOHIT stopped my Invisalign treatment without conducting further detailed investigations. I was then informed that he is not an Invisalign specialist and did not know how to manage a case involving dental trauma. He confidently said that Invisalign was no longer suitable for me and was advised to proceed with veneers instead — at an additional cost of £1000.

Concerned about this advice, I sought second opinions from four other dentists in UK, USA, INDIA. All of them disagreed with DR.MOHIT's clinical decision to discontinue Invisalign in the way it was handled.

As a healthcare professional working within the NHS, I understand clinical responsibility and patient management. I felt that my concerns were not properly addressed, and I experienced significant stress, financial loss, and delay. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my Invisalign treatment before my wedding, which was very upsetting after investing £3500.

Although I initially did not receive appropriate resolution from the clinic, I was eventually able to recover half of the amount paid after formally escalating the matter to the Dental Complaints Service (DCS). The clinic only responded after a formal complaint was made.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Invisalign treatment here to do thorough research beforehand and ensure they are being treated by a clinician fully confident and experienced in managing complex cases, including trauma.

This was a very stressful and disappointing experience, and I STRONGLY REQUEST TO NEVER GO TO THIS CLINIC FOR INVISALIGN. DO NOT MISS THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS , WHICH I WISH I HAD SEEN BEFORE GOING HERE.

The one star I am giving is purely a courtesy — and a sincere hope that the clinic takes this feedback seriously and brings in a more competent and experienced doctor for Invisalign cases.

Terrible admin

Unfortunately, I’ve had no choice but to escalate my concerns to the ombudsman after being removed from their NHS patient list without any explanation. Despite sending multiple emails to try and resolve this, I received no response, which was extremely disappointing and stressful considering I have just recently moved my partner and son over.

I want to be clear that the dentists themselves are excellent — professional, skilled, and genuinely caring. This review is not a reflection on their clinical work, which has always been excellent. Unfortunately, the administrative handling of my case has been very poor and has undermined the trust built with the clinical team.

On a previous occasion, I also paid for a scale and polish but only received a scale due to equipment failure. No partial refund or resolution was offered, and after repeated chasing, I eventually gave up pursuing it.

It’s a real shame that such strong clinical care is being let down by poor communication and customer service on the administrative side.

My experience with MK dental

Having been unable to find an NHS dentist I came across MK dental and implant, I'm so happy I did, right from my first appointment Mo put me at ease even though I was so nervous and embarrassed about the state of my teeth and gums, however I was put at ease and after a check up I was seen by Jess the hygienist who is so friendly and thoughtful that even on my second visit with her she bought me a squeeze stress ball as she knew how anxious and nervous I was, I cannot thank these guys enough for literally saving my life (dramatic i know, but honestly true)and after years of being scared of the dentists has made me feel safe and confident again to smile, thank you 😊 100% recommend these guys 😊

Horrible, Money Grabbing!!

Horrible, Horrible Experience!! Stressful and Rude, Ill mannered staff!! Won’t refund my credit on my account!!!

So I had teeth whitening booked, and cancelled within the correct cancellation policy time. £49 I tried to get refunded for months and months. And nobody called me back, nobody dealt with it. So it sat on file. Because I couldn’t get the coordinating manager to deal with it. I was fair in saying ‘Oh just put it towards as hygiene appointment please’. But as the lady on reception that I spoke to who wouldn’t give her name to me, said I had missed 7 appointments. All of which were rescheduled, may I add, and I missed the last one within 24 hours notice. They’re keeping my money. When I’m planning on spending a huge amount of money on Invisalign Treatment. Sam is lovely, always has been and I’ve known her since being under the practice some years. The other receptionists over promise and under deliver and quite frankly it’s just another telephone call. Well sorry ladies you’ve just lost a customer. And you can stick your £49 where the monkey keeps his nuts!!! I mean who taught these people manners. Oh and this definitely will be going further. We’re in a recession and your basically robbing of hard working people and it’s disgusting and your practice and staff should be ashamed of themselves. But no of course not because like most ungracious, in-compassionate people you could care about me. Don’t waste your £££ at this surgery for Invisalign, or any other private dentistry. Go somewhere else where they will speak to you like a human being, not a child.

Absolutely disgusting!!!

Great Dental Practice

I am very nervous patient due to bad experiences and trauma with previous dentists. I've had a lot of work done over the last couple of years at MK Dental and I've always been happy with the results. All of the staff are very friendly and professional. Mo, my dentist (and owner of the practice) has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He has taken a lot of time with me, given me plenty of advice and always been very patient and understanding. I can honestly say that MK Dental are, without doubt, the best dental practive I've ever used. The whole team are outstanding. I highly recommend them!

Today was my 1st experience with this…

Today was my 1st experience with this clinic and Mo (one of his dentist ) saw me today, professional and friendly. I enquired about Invisalign and they offered me an appointment on the day required. I am a little surprised to read some of the reviews as I paid a refundable deposit and on the day Sam was calling me back to organise the refund, without me even having to ask for it. No hassle whatsoever. I also found their prices fair and very competitive and Sam went the extra mile with information and very clear directions and advices with convenient places where to park(I am terrible with directions !) I really thought their customer care was 1st Class! Maybe this review is premature and if I decide to have further treatments with them I’ll advice/edit accordingly, but for now I wanred to say this as I felt some of their reviews didn’t match at all the great care which I received today Thank you

I would highly, highly recommend MK dental and Implant clinic. From start to finish for my dental treatment I have been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. The team at MK dental have been exceptional, from the reception staff to the dentists. Each appointment that I have had, I have never felt rushed, everything was explained to me in a clear way and I was made to feel very comfortable. Best dentist I have ever been to !!!

Awful place!!

Awful, awful treatment after many years of great service the place has changed big time. Was refused treatment due to the medication I take both Doctor & GP wrote letters to say this was ridiculous and treatment was required as a matter of urgency. After treatment which was handled very badly another drug was added to my notes. I disputed this medication addition as I have NEVER taken it. Letters and emails ignored from Doctor & GP. Last appointment was horrible, accused of withholding information about medication and questioned at length about actual meds. Refused treatment AGAIN. Then received a letter saying barred for practice due to aggressive behaviour and withholding info (both untrue). It’s a terrible way to treat people and punishing them for taking very common meds that millions of people take is shocking.

No more nhs treatment!

As a very anxious paient I have come to trust this dental practice as the staff are so understanding. I have been having a check up every 3 months on recommendation of oncologist so was upset to receive a letter recently informing me that, in order to remain with them, I would need to register as a
private patient. I just don't have the funds to do this (I am retired with a restricted income although I pay full nhs charges) I went for my pre booked nhs checkup but was told that was the last one unless I went private. Haven't been able to find another nhs dentist in Brighton or Hove so very disappointed.

Good experience

I have had only good experiences with this practice - spanning 6 years as a patient. The current management are active and vision based - having really turned the practice around in every aspect from its appearance (which is modern and professional) to the service offering, which is now very advanced.

Avoid

Avoid. Just wanted to buy whitening gels to use with trays I had from my previous dentist. They said I would have to come in and pay £50 for an appointment first. They gave me the wrong gels which I paid £79 for . When I returned them They then couldn’t supply me with the correct gels because they didn’t have them in stock . They refused to refund the unnecessary appointment and have me jumping through hoops for a refund of the incorrect gels which they tell me will take 4 weeks (after I’ve been emailing them for a refund for 2 weeks) . I ended up just ordering the gels online

Avoid - even if you’re desperate!

Our first appointment with Dr Hadi was awful. He wanted to remove my daughter's milk teeth for no reason (every dentist we've seen since this appt has agreed with me - including other dentists at MK dental. My daughter's teeth have now fallen out naturally as expected and there were no problems with the adult teeth behind. If I had agreed with Dr Hadi, trauma would have been caused to my daughter for absolutely no reason). He also wanted to charge me privately for root canal treatment, even though I am an NHS patient. Throughout the appointment he was fussing with the computer as his nurse seemed to not know what she was doing (I don't know her name :/).
I decided we wouldn't be seeing him again. The next appointment we had was with Gabi, she was lovely and I would recommend her but unfortunately she isn't there anymore.
The last appointment we had we saw a dental therapist, which we weren't informed of beforehand. She was nice, she completed a filling on my older daughter and recommended treatment for me which I agreed with. I paid a deposit for the next appointment. However, after the appointment I realised I was being charged for a hygienist appointment, even though a scale and polish should be included in Band A of the NHS dental charges if it is deemed clinically necessary, which I was told it was.
I cancelled the appointment.
I have since requested my deposit back. A few times. This should have been received within 28 days (their own words) which would have been Friday 29th March. After chasing this with them, I was first told they hadn't received the request for my deposit refund and then when I was able to prove I had sent the form, I was told it was delayed due to the bank holiday. Fair enough, maybe, but the payment still should have been received by Wednesday 3rd April, if we're allowing two extra working days for the bank holiday weekend. I asked the receptionist on the phone to ask her manager to call me - a call I still have not received, along with my refund or any apology for the delay.

Terrible new owner. I have been using this dentist 20 years,

I have been using this dentist 20 year long before they become MK. The new owner is rude, told me many times, "My practise my rules, there are other dentists!! The second time I saw him he told myself he would be the judge of what medication my GP prescribes as to weather he would even look in my mouth, I walked out. They say they take NHS patients, just try calling, they will say they are full, then call back and say your private.....!

After years of complete fear of…

After years of complete fear of dentists, because of very poor treatment. I have had my trust restored. Thus dental practice is amazing. Right through from the helpful, kind and polite receptionists. To the nurses, My dentist Raxit put me at complete ease, he was very patient, speaking calmly to me, taking the time to explain, what he was doing and why he was doing it. Also he chose my dentures perfectly. He extracted 4 teeth and listened to my concerns and made me feel confident enough to go ahead, this is a big deal for me. His nurse Rauirii was also very good at putting me at ease d very efficient at assisting Raxit too. Thankyou so much for giving me my smile back:)
