The workbooks were printed completely wrong. All out of order. In addition, I was short several copies. The workbooks were unusable and I had to pay double to have them reprinted at a local shop.

The image quality is very good!!! The website was generally easy to work with (I’m sure it would have been easier to use on laptop, but I only have a phone and I’m glad it worked at all!!) And it was a pretty decent price per book!!

Poor Customer Service and Print Quality
Impossible to reach via phone. After many attempts I finally got through and was given incorrect guidance regarding my proof. I was told that my concerns were nothing to worry about and that the issues highlighted would not show up in my print. When I received my print, there were issues and the customer service team refused to fix them and eventually provided a 10% refund. I also opted for a more expensive cover material, which resulted in print issues which would have not happened if I went with the standard cheaper cover option.

If there was any misunderstanding regarding the artwork or the guidance provided, we do apologise. We’re a small team and our phone lines can get very busy at times, which can make it difficult to get through quickly. If you need a faster response in the future, our Live Chat is often the best way to reach us for more immediate help, almost 24/7.
We’d also like to clarify that choosing anti scuff matte lamination wouldn’t normally add artefacts or noise around text. It can sometimes soften how crisp artwork appears slightly due to the finish, but it wouldn’t typically cause the level of pixelation you’ve described.
We’ll review the call logs and the guidance that was provided. If we find that the error was on our side, we’ll absolutely reach back out to you to look into this further.

the quality and the price was great It was fairly intuitive to use the design software. We were in a time crunch and paid extra for expedited shipping. Our project got hung up because it was flagged for a layout issue (Which we are glad about) but it held up production and we weren't able to get it in time. The production team was responsive and did their best to help by overnighting it. It still didnt arrive in time but in the end we are glad that we have books that are expertly laid out and printed. We will definitely be using Mixam again and will not wait until the last minute!

Went as expected
Went as expected. Overall when in a pinch it was a good choice. Was annoyed by some of the limitations; for example, I couldn't get cards printed with soft touch on both sides. The job status was awkward and it was not clear when an order is actively being printed. Overall the limited options and unclear UX will keep me using more expensive local printers, although in a pinch they have been reliable and timely.
edit after reply: The status page on your site should convey status and not require emailing support.
