Mistake to Mastery is an AI-powered MCAT prep platform built around a simple idea: the questions you got wrong are the most valuable studying material you have. Most premeds know this, but no one has built a tool that actually helps you act on it. Spreadsheets, sticky notes, and "mistake journals" are the standard fix, and they are passive, time-consuming, and almost never lead to real improvement. We built MTM to change that. Here is how it works. You upload a question you got wrong, from any question bank or practice exam. Our Chrome extension lets you do this in a single click from inside the practice site itself, so you never have to leave your flow. From there, the platform uses AI to generate four kinds of personalized drills around your mistake: Twin: the same concept tested in a slightly different way. Lateral: the same skill applied to a different domain. Foundation: the prerequisite concept underneath the mistake. Discriminator: the adjacent concept students confuse with the right one. These drills are then assigned to you using the FSRS spaced repetition algorithm, so the right questions resurface at the right times, and you actually retain what you learn. Your analytics dashboard shows you exactly where your weak spots are and how they shift over time.
