their sessions are very useful and take you out of your comfort zone.

I loved this because the virtual experience is very interactive especially when there is a ward round. He asks what we thought and asks other people to give feedback on how to improve, occasionally he shows his replies to certain conversations.

We were provided with lots of great information and also were given really useful feedback during the practice case sessions on the best way to say possible things to patients that may seem a bit intrusive and really gained helpful knowledge on the best way to deal with emotional/vulnerable patients, and of course, gained a fantastic insight into the 'world' of general surgery.

Love mission medic. I usually can’t stand virtual work experience because it’s mainly just reading through slides. But here, it’s super interactive and I actually feel like I’m in a hospital setting despite looking at my screen. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to provide such a useful platform for free. I really appreciate it and I hope to see more in the future

It made me sympathise with doctors and gave me a true feeling into what consultation are like for a doctor rather than as a patient for the first time. Would highly recommend!

Very engaging and insightful, I’ve learnt to focus on many aspects of the roles of a doctor and the team they’re involved in. I feel more confidant in taking patient histories and what to expect when things go bad.

I really enjoyed the session overall, especially the interactive case studies and reflective q&a to clear any misconceptions.

The work experience was informative and helped me gain more experience. I liked how we did a role play, it helped me understand how I should talk to a patient and the type of questions I should ask in different situations. I also liked how talking to a patient's family member was mentioned too.
There was references to what would be asked in an interview which was really helpful too.

I enjoyed how interactive the session was. I most enjoyed when the attendees had to act in different scenarios and when you after showed us how you would’ve handled those sensitive situations.

The webinars have always been very fun and interactive, the hosts always encourage the participants to be very proactive in engaging through questions and medical simulations. I’m surprised that such interesting webinar could even be offered for FREE. For participants interested to attend future webinars, I highly recommend Mission Medicine!

This was an extremely unique virtual work experience as there were roleplaying situations where we got the chance to take the history of patients. Learned more about the respiratory systems and particular diseases surrounding it! Loved the balance of scientific and clinical side of medicine in this webinar. Can’t wait for the upcoming events
