I believe Vevo Distribution’s services are misleading and unprofessional based on my experience with them.
After purchasing the plan, I completed the verification process multiple times. However, after completing the verification, their website repeatedly asked me to verify my identity again. This appears to be a glitch in their verification system.
What is even more concerning is that their website does not clearly mention anywhere that additional ID verification may be required after purchasing the plan. This information appears to be hidden or insufficiently disclosed to customers. Since I had already purchased the Label Plan and completed the required verification, I contacted their support team when the system asked for verification again. Their support team simply told me that they could not verify my account and that they would issue a refund.
If the company is unwilling or unable to provide the services for which customers are paying, then why are they operating these plans in the first place? They are not providing the service for free either, they charge artists a 30% commission on royalties, in addition to setup fees.
I even requested that they manually verify my account so that the issue could be resolved, but they clearly refused to do so.
Overall, based on my experience, I find their verification process extremely questionable and their customer support unsatisfactory. I have also heard from other users that accounts have allegedly been suddenly banned or deactivated without a clear explanation.
I would strongly urge potential customers to carefully review their verification requirements, fees, refund policies, and terms before purchasing any plan from this company
