SureFeed Pet Feeder

I ordered a Surefeed Pet Feeder with microchip for my cat. I was pleased with the price because it was a lot cheaper than what it was costing elsewhere. It arrived on time and is exactly as I ordered. Thank you Miscota.

Unprofessional shop and illegal practices

I place an order from the website ch.miscota.com. At this point there was no information available about the company on the website (neither in "who we are" or "contact us") and I was mislead to believe the company was based in Switzerland and the good will be shipped from Switzerland to Switzerland. When receiving the order (which was coming from The Netherlands by the way!?!?) I discovered I had to pay import fees and VAT into Switzerland then I understood I was mislead especially the order confirmation does not state the company legal adress neither! First not pleasant experience.

But that comes the tricker part here: because they decided to break my order into 3 parcels they placed 3 times the invoice for the full order into the 3 parcels. That lead the Swiss customs to invoice me 3 times the VAT and import fees as if I ordered 3 times the same articles for the entire value! In other words, they incorrectly declared the value of goods to the custom and I had to pay 3 times the Swiss VAT + custom fees at import because they mistakenly showed that each parcel has for value of goods the full value of the order while they decided to split it in 3 parcels.

After exchanging emails with their customer service and claiming the refund of extra fees/VAT paid due to their mistake, they changed suddenly the general conditions and added clause 11.9 which states that they do not have any responsibility about the custom/VAT/etc. I took screenshot of their website prior to this change. Do you believe that? How nasty is that? Now the situation is stuck as they refer to this clause and get out of any responsibility and ignore my questions.

The second part comes here: I got to know from them via our email exchanges that actually I paid the Spanish VAT on the goods for that purchase. That is an illegal and incorrect practice. As the goods are for exporting out of EU (to Switzerland) the VAT should be paid only in the country of the final destination of the goods. This is incorrect and VAT should never be paid twice. They totally ignored my additional requests to refund me the Spanish VAT as I paid Swiss one and I am not supposed to pay Spanish VAT since good left Spain.

Please run away from this company, very poor customer care, service and respect. On the light of the above, the company goes against the laws of the EU regarding the VAT.

If you are in Switzerland as me, never order from them!

Guess I am not the only one who says…

Guess I am not the only one who says stay away from this place !! First off I ordered wet kidney dog food thinking it would be good for my dog . Waited three months for it and paid a fortune for shipping . I get a box today and guess what empty !! Eighty dollars for an empty box . And a letter saying the us postal threw it out didnt meet the standard requirements. Junk and no way to get ahold of them !!

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, they’re a joke. They charge you an arm and a leg for nothing. I placed my order and over two weeks kept getting emails they now don’t have what I’ve ordered. Eventually they were going to send me 10% of my order and keep my shipping fee of £7!!

Don’t buy with Miscota - scammers!

Don’t buy with Miscota - they’re a bunch of thieving scammers. I bought off them an expensive product - SureFlap’s “Pet Flap”.

After it arrived, I noticed it’s not SureFlap’s “Pet Flap”, it is in fact SureFlap’s smaller “Cat Flap”!! A totally different, smaller product. They advertise misleading title & description!Of course, they disagree to refund now.

I bought this after being sure it is the bigger “Pet Flap”.. And now they disagree with refunding me for their mistake, claiming I should’ve noticed their mistake myself and not buy this model.

Save your money - they simply don’t care for their customers, they just want to cheat you and make a profit out of you!!!

RETURN

I ordered an item, received it but was too big, so I returned it per their instructions with postage confirmations & tracking. Corroeos (Spanish mail company) tried delivering my return but no one was there to receive it. I sent numerous emails stating this, and asked them to arrange a re delivery but nothing, no one would help. It is still sitting at their local mail company post office awaiting collection. Iam out of pocket. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I was about to purchase the puppy food…

I was about to purchase the puppy food and the standard delivery was too high. I asked the support why the standard delivery is too high (135 dollars shipping) for 12 kg bag. Many pet stores offer free shipping. Too bad miscota out of my list.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. My order was never processed and I never received any confirmation of purchase or arrival but my card was charged immediately. Unable to contact anyone at company in regard to this problem. Had to contact my credit card company for help.

Servicio poco fiable

Hice una compra y luego recibí un correo electrónico de su proveedor de envío (Paack) que decía que el paquete se entregará en las próximas dos semanas. Así que traté de comunicarme con atención al cliente, pero ni siquiera leyeron mi mensaje, solo respondieron que recibiré mi entrega a tiempo. ¡Son simplemente inútiles!

I made a purchase, then received an email from their shipping supplier saying that the package will get delivered in the next two weeks. So I tried to contact customer support but they don't even read my message they just replied that I will get my delivery on time. They are just useless!

They declare articles in stock that aren't. I had inquired about a delivery deadline, no definite reply. The order was supposed to be delivered over a week ago, still nothing. Also it is shipped out of Spain, although it didn't say so dyring the checkout process. Misleading at best, criminal frankly.

My products are being given to other customers

10 days after my order confirmation I received a mail saying that one product is not available and they would wait until they have it to ship everything. Three days later I receive a mail that shipment was ready to go, but suddenly another product was unavailable (that had been in my shipment 2 days prior). Four days later I am informed that 2 products of my shipment are not available, which had been confirmed to be ready to be shipped in the previous mails. I have cancelled my entire order (and it was not a small amount)

An excellent company to deal with!

I find Miscota a very good company to deal with. Deliveries arrive on time, you are kept reliably and promptly informed if there a problem with obtaining any item you want, and the repeat ordering system is very useful! The range of products and goods available is impressive. I would thoroughly recommend!

Ferplast rat shelves

Found some ferplast rat shelves for £30 on this website. Everywhere else was sold out plus this site had a good price. I read the reviews and realised there were a lot of negative ones. But I went ahead, I ordered and paid through PayPal so I was at least covered. I received all the normal confirmation emails and a couple days later received an email saying they were out of stock and would I like to wait for them . Turns out they were in stock a couple days later so I waited. Just received my items so super happy. Took a couple weeks maybe. Glad my experience was a positive one !

Ordered a small aquarium/fountain pump…

On 8/11/22 I ordered a small aquarium/fountain pump for a US application. After almost a MONTH, I received a European (220v) pump. Didn't work (of course). Miscota wouldn't refund or replace item. Terrible customer service.
