I bought a pair of earrings from Misaki last summer and loved them up until the stud detached from the stick this winter. I had thrown away my receipt and certificate of authenticity. I emailed customer service and explained my dilemma, and someone got back to me within hours. She said that if I could email them proof of purchase, like a credit card invoice, they could be replaced free of charge (and free shipping) because they were still under warranty. We emailed back and forth and she was extremely punctual in responding. Misaki got my new earrings shipped out the next day and I received them in the mail a few days later (in the U.S.). Excellent customer service experience!
