It’s a scam business now

It’s a scam business now. I purchased couple bags before they changed to “wholesale”. Ordered and paid for 5 bags Sept 30,2024. As of today April 18, 2025, not a reply or update to my numerous emails and online messages. DONOT place any orders. I wished I went straight to the vendor instead of through them.

Paid for 2 bags 3.8.24 only 1 was delivered

Paid for 2 bags 3.8.24. They were on sale, so no mention about not being crafted yet or any other reason for delay. Recieved 1. No answers on repeated requests about the second. Have been a very satisfied customer of Mirta as it used to be but now after almost two months after sending the payment - nothing!

A good company becoming a scam...shame

I noticed there are not any recent review on Mirta nor their subsidiary company Fasionfans. I have been buying both from Mirta (before it changed its system) then later from Fashionfans. It was a great experience before and that was why I became a repeat customer. Their prices are reasonable and quality always was always up to the standard.

HOWEVER, I placed my order in March 2024 for 2 bags and only 1 arrived. I chased many times both Mirta and Fashionfans but no replies at all.

When I started to think that they are out of business, but yet I still received promotional emails from them even today. They keep on changing their discount codes for 20% off.

Are they becoming a scam now?

I hope not as I still would love to have the bag that I ordered in March... It would be a miracle if it does arrive!

We were happy about the first orders

We were happy about the first orders. The articles had good quality. But from this year, 2023, it has become difficult to work with the platform.

1. Cancelled order: one order towards a brand that we ordered once one year ago was canceled without any reason

2. Damaged article: one of the bags that we received had rust on the golden buckle, which can be seen by bare eyes. After we reached out to customer service with the photos, they told us the brand agreed with the return of the bag and would send us a new one. However, after the brand received the bag, customer service told us that "they can't see any substantial damage as the hardware is covered in gold with an artisanal technique"...Small defects can be accepted since they are handmade products but "handmade" is not a shield for all the quality problems

3. Higher minimums: the minimums of every brand were not too high, which was an advantage so as a retailer we could order what we needed. But the minimum of certain brands is too high now

4. After a while, some brands just disappear. Thus, it's difficult to establish a long-term collaboration with the brands

DO NOT ORDER! TERRIBLE QUALITY & SERVICE

I waited 3 months for my order to arrive. During this time I have sent out a couple messages to follow up on my order and have only received one response saying I will be notified when my order is ready and that Mirta will inspect the bag before shipping my order out. I have not heard back on any update since then even until the day I received my order.

After I received my bags, one of them - a bag made by Fontanelli, has a very obvious defect where the buckle is off-centered making the bag hard to close and the bag looked poorly made. I reached out to Mirta immediately with pictures and requested for an exchange. After several emails and two weeks later, I was told that the bag is not a flaw but actually a peculiar sign of handmade and that it shows its authenticity and uniqueness.

I am totally not satisfied with this response and the bag I received. I requested for an exchange again and was told their exchange service is not available at the moment without any further clarification. I followed up again and later was told they no longer provide exchange service. Since I am not able to get an exchange, I asked for a return and refund. And of course, Mirta turned down my return request claiming it has passed the returning timeframe.

Do not order from Mirta as they have poor customer service and they take no responsibility on the products they sell. They do not value customer satisfaction and make up excuses for their faulty products. Finally, Mirta is not responsive with emails nor chat and blame the customer for missing the returning timeline with their delay in response.

VERY VERY BAD PURCHASE EXPERIENCE WITH…

VERY VERY BAD PURCHASE EXPERIENCE WITH MIRTA!!!!! DONT BUY X 100 TIMES
The bag I have received have a lot of defects:
(1) hairline scratches on the gold hardware
(2) bag strap crease
(3) stains on the leather
(4) nail scratches on the leather
The reason given by MIRTA for these bad conditions of bag due to it being handmade is totally unacceptable!!!! DONT BUY FROM MIRTA!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! No even to grant a one star!
