Expired Products - AVOID!
Quite possibly the worst customer service i have ever experienced.
I received an expired product in my order, which i confirmed with the brand before contacting 'Jess' via the live chat. She advised she would send me a label to return the product, this was a month ago and I have still not received the label. I've since reached out on live chat 6 times and have just received the automated message each time. I have also sent an email around 10 days ago - again no reply as of yet.
This is my third and final order from this company, products are just chucked in a box, no nice packing, nothing protecting them from damage. They seem to not care at all about the quality of the products they are selling.

I have subscribed to this box for years and this year they refused to send me my March box and maintained that they had sent in (in Feb); what they actually sent me was a free gift in a separate box. I have had to get a chargeback through my credit card. It took weeks to get any response from Mintd JESS - and when I did I was accused of my lying and everytime they "look into it" they give me a different answer but never offer to provide me what I paid for. My subscription renewed today (at the old price) and guess what? Within 7 minutes, 7 minutes Jess cancelled my order. When I contacted her she sent me an out of office message. This company has a problem - used to be so good. What is going on???!!
Oh AND they owe me £60 unused rewards credit - the codes didn't work and they never answered my queries despite me asking repeatedly. Totally ripped off!! AVOID THEM.

I’m leaving another review as this company really needs to address its behaviour. They claim they have a cancellation policy which works yet I cancelled months ago but they continue to take £90 a month. Each month, I email asking for my money back. They eventually refund but don’t even bother to reply to the emails. Tonight they’ve taken another £90. It’s a scam. They show my subscription as active when it isn’t. Makes them look more successful than they are. I have no way of stopping them taking £90 every month other than cancelling my bank card. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I placed an order on 4 January. On 7 January, I emailed to ask whether everything was okay with my order, but I didn’t receive a response. On 9 January, I contacted support via the website chat and was told that my order would be shipped that day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
On 12 January, I tried contacting support again via chat, as it seems emails aren’t being answered at all. Throughout the day, I only received automated template responses saying someone would get back to me shortly.
I understand that shipping delays can happen, but customers should be informed. Emails and messages should be answered rather than ignored. At this point, for me it looks like a scam.

The staff is always super helpful, never have an issue and the products....my wife absolutely loves them. No irritation at all. This is my second time ordering from Mintd.
Poor customer service
I concur with the negative comments about the non existent customer service and extremely difficult to cancel subscription. I went through this & I also posted negative comment on here. I did get a call from the Owner, who confirmed they would cancel my subscription, but then didn't. Another few weeks went by and I found a way to lodge dispute with my bank. And only then did it get canceled. I even sent more emails to the customer service after the phone call from the owner to no avail.
The boxes are great there is no doubt its good value for money. Great brands in the boxes.
I did read on here the products are dated / expired, I have bought numerous boxes, so I hope not. I've no doubt I was one of their best customers as I've spent thousands.
But getting your subscription cancelled and refund for returned box (unwanted subscription) is near impossible. I sent pictures of the returned item shown at their premises by royal mail, reminder emails.
I don't understand why this company would continue to operate in this way when they're receiving such negative feedback on this forum. I doubt the positive feedback is genuine.
I truly hope they consider changing their approach as their boxes of beauty products are good.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMY “COMPANY”! Non existent customer service and inability to cancel subscription! Your money will keep being taking even when you ask them to stop.
I am reporting this company to Trading Standards for unfair practice and potential fraud.
I would give no stars if possible. Just look at the other reviews stating the same issue.
I have been contacting Mintd Box since the 13th of October (now 1st of November) as the only way to cancel a subscription with them is via email (should have noticed this red flag in the beginning). I have received no response at all and to avoid getting charged a further £91 against my will I have had to call my bank to place a block on further payments from Mintd Box.
I commented many times on their Facebook trying to get someone to answer me just so I could cancel the subscription and they’ve actually BLOCKED me to avoid the bad press/need to respond. I have in no way been rude, just stressed and worried about continuing to be charged such a large amount of money for something I no longer need.
I would seriously advise people considering subscribing to think about this and only subscribe if you can 100% guarantee this is a subscription and financial commitment you could potentially have forever.

Worst Customer Service Experienced
Nice idea but unfortunately appalling customer service. Lots of things that ruined the experience -
- Sent out a skincare item with 3 months left to use before out of date, with no concession or informing customers. A £60 item unusable now and not had a reply from customer service for over 2 weeks now. Appalling.
- Cancelled subscription and still got charged again for another box (over £200 so quite hefty for an accidental charge)
- Charge £6 for delivery?! That’s more than gift wrapping on most companies and it comes in a plain box and is tracked 48 which is about £3.75. For subscriptions over £100 per time I think they can absorb shipping costs or at least lower them.
Just whole experience is rubbish and will never buy from them again. Can’t believe I haven’t had a reply from customer service about the out of date product.

I really liked the products and it was fun having a nice gift each month but when I cancelled they kept charging me despite many emails from me which they acknowledged . I ended up having to cancel my bank card and STILL months later they email me a couple of times a month to tell me my payment was unsuccessful. Yes I KNOW. Cancelling cards is an absolute pain but I could find no other way round it

BUT trying to cancel not great 😠
Went onto the website and trying to cancel the subscription difficult to find. Once i did find the cancel subscription location it would not allow me to cancel. Had to email which i did several times over a few weeks with absolutely no reply to confirm cancellation
In the end i cancelled my shopify subscription instead which meant they couldnt take the cash for the rolling subscription fee
3 star for products. 1 star for cancellation procedure and lack of response from customer service
Appalling customer service
The product is beautiful and really smells like jasmine. It’s moisturing and has doesn’t feel too oily or sticky. I recommend.
However, the reason I’ve given two stars in the appalling customer service from Mintd Box. I haven’t ever bought a product from them and will definitely not again.
I placed the order, which included 6.95GBP, which was expensive but I thought it if it’s going to ship quickly, it will be worth it. Reader, Mintd Box took over 5 days to ship. I emailed twice, checked their delivery page, which just mentions Brexit and Covid-19, and I left a message on their customer service line along with ringing at different times during the day. No response. Then my parcel arrived squashes. Luckily, the product is in a glass bottle, so it was safe.
I appreciate it’s Christmas and it is busier than normal, however, to charge that much for postage and not even put it in a box to ensure it doesn’t get squashed, plus sending it after 5 days, is really taking the mickey. I know how much a small parcel is and 6.95GBP is not it. No response to my voicemail or email.

Spent £300 on November 25, 2024 and STILL not received my order #11163 ! Very disappointed! I’m trying to cancel my subscription and being totally ignored: more than one week of emails, online messages and dm… no answer! And by their policy the only way to do it - by email! So I will be forced to pay next month even if I don’t want to!
They literally don't let me cancel their monthly subscription.

UPDATE: after finally getting in touch , Jess from customer service contacted me via web chat- she dealt with my complaint effectively and efficiently. I have received my order and great value for money- it turned out a product was missing but it was delivered as soon as it came in stock without any chasing. Definitely worth purchasing just needed communication early on as happy to be patient but just need better communication.
