THE WORST online furniture company. Very irresponsible, my items took 3 months to arrive, arrived damaged and they give me the same answer every time I call: that they are trying to reach the supplier... what do I have to do with the supplier? I bought from them! Now its a nightmare to get my money back!

They charged me for my order of a table that was listed in stock and then told me it wasn't in stock and it would ship on a later date. The date has come and gone and it has not shipped and they ignore my emails when I ask for an update.

I could not be happier w my shagreen nightstands and the service. They were delivered on time and fully assembled! I will def order from Minimal and Modern again.

Do not order from them!!!! They debited my account without authorization and NO ONE will respond to my request to get this resolved. The number they have goes straight to a voicemail and request you to email them instead!!!! I hate I ever dealt with them. It’s impossible to speak to anyone when you have an issue. DO NOT ORDER from them if you want any kind of customer service.

Terrible. Ordered tables that stated “in stock”. Got an email after ordering stating they were not in stock but would be in 3 weeks... nothing showed up 6 weeks later.. after 5 attempts to contact them, finally got a response saying they would now not be in until Oct 22.. have still be unable to get a refund after 4 further emails.

DO NOT EVER order from these people. I just redid my den and ordered pieces from every company you could think of. Everyone has a 30 day return policy. Because the room was still being painted and floors being put in, i did not unpack the chairs i bought till about 10 days after receipt. They were a mess, stitching was off, damages on the seats and actual stains on them. I sent the pics of all the problems. 3 out of 4 chairs were not useable. They said i passed the 6 day return policy. I am still in shock. Who does business like this? I didn’t even want my money back. I just wanted clean chairs. RUN, don’t walk... AWAY from these people.

I ordered a vanity from this site and was very happy with it. However, for my next order I purchased a bench that within the hour I realized wouldn't fit. I emailed customer service to cancel the order. I didn't recieve a response. The next day I emailed again and left a voicemail on their answering service. Again no response. Third day I emailed again and left another message. I just received an email informing me that it's too late. My order had already been shipped! I will never order from them again!

Run, do not walk. They take your money out right away and 22 days later I am still waiting for a real tracking number for my furniture. I have called, left messages, sent e mails and they do not return anything. I have now filed a dispute with my Visa company to return my money. Does this store even exist? Crooks for sure!

Does this company actually exist?

That was the question I asked myself when I had to call the United States to speak with Minimal & Modern Canada.

Their "toll free" number is not in service, and the number they provide always goes to answering machine.

3 to 10 business days is what it says to have my couch delivered... yet we are on day 14 and still nothing.

When you email them, about 20% of the time they actually reply.

I ended up tracking down the distributor of my couch where it was being delivered from (which is in the same city I live in)... and they told me they also have communication issues with this company.

I wont be purchasing from them again.

These chairs not only fit perfectly with our space, but they were easy to put together and have been so comfortable to use for dinners!

Minimal & Modern got my chair right out. I had a question about the tracking information and their CS took care of me fast and efficiently!

Combination of retro and modern style, looks great and works well in our bay window breakfast nook. From the pictures I was worried it might be flimsy, but I am pleased that the base and top are both heavy and sturdy. The assembly was quick and easy.

Don't buy from this company if you have a problem with your item you will not be able to get a hold of them. They don't pick up the phone or answer emails now I'm stuck with a product that's horrible. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

I ordered two counter stools from them at first and had a good experience. I decided I wanted a third I ordered it and it was out of stock. It took FOUR months to get here, only to find out i ordered the bar stool instead of the counter stool. They will not exchange or take it back. They are also very hard to get a hold of. I would suggest buying elsewhere.

Ordered a desk for my wife from their site. Fast shipping and great product.

I placed an order for 2 side tables. A few days later I was contacted by them saying that the item is out of stock but will be back in stock and shipped within 10 days. I was OK with that, even though their website did not indicate that the item out of stock. A few days after their promised 10 day ship date, I emailed and called them and was informed that the item wont be restocked for another 30 days. At this time I requested to cancel the order but they would not refund my card for another 14 days. Which means they held on to my money for approximately 5 weeks without even shipping me a product. My CC also charged a foreign transaction fee for this purchase which they still haven't credited my for. STAY AWAY!!!

We’ve had a great experience shopping with and purchasing from Minimal & Modern! We recently received our second order and both times it’s been timely delivery of quality furniture. This past order I had a couple questions and their customer service option via Facebook messenger was very convenient and helpful! I’ll also add that their prices have been the lowest on the internet for both of our purchases and included free shipping.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. It seems if you're happy with your product then ones experience is good. I however ordered a chair that did not fit. I contacted the company and again, ZERO response for two weeks. Then someone contacted me with a copy and pasted generic response. FYI the site says free returns, however, many brands they sell like TOV are not returnable.

I was already concerned with the credibility of this company from the way the site presented itself. I ordered an item that was on back order from another site. Minimal and Modern presented itself that they had the item, and was charging much more for it since it was supposed to be in stock on their site. I was told days later that it was on back order with them and given a shipping date. When it didn’t shipping on that date I contacted the company and pointed out my issue with being charged MORE for an item that was also on back order with them AND shipped late. I never received a response addressing why it’s fine they charged me more.

When I received the item I realized it didn’t work for my space. It was still bagged and tagged. I contacted them again and was told I couldn’t return the item because of the brand. It said NO WHERE on the item page or when I went through the purchasing pages that I couldn’t return the item.

Save your money, don’t buy from them.

This table is my favorite piece of furniture I've ever owned. It is made beautifully. It was shipped in impeccable packaging and arrived without any flaws. I could not be happier!
