Dedicately done work for months and…
Dedicately done work for months and immediately it says my account is suspended. It is under review and I can guarantee I have followed all laws and policies. I have submitted appeal for my account but no one has responded. Also for all these mo ths whatever I had earned is gone because I cannot withdraw money. If my account doesn't get retrieved unfortunately I will have to take strict action against them.

Unresponsive technical support team and buggy task scheduling. You may have 9 projects on your dashboard and still not be able to do any of them while others are working on the same project.

Task availability.
After completing the onboarding test, you must wait for tasks to be available before you can begin work. This waiting period sometimes takes several weeks.
Because the system does not send automated notifications when tasks arrive, you will need to check the platform regularly for updates.
Also, payments for some tasks are not worth contributing to that project. Some go as low as $0.10 per task.

Mismanaged and poor quality
Worked for the Tendem Web Scraping pipeline project. Their UI has so many issues. For example, when I was doing the test task, I could not see the client chat (scrollbar did not work) and I had to completely zoom out the page. Additionally, when pasting some information from an excel sheet, their backend completely crashed and the task web page kept crashing. It took more than 24 hours for their support team to fix the issue. And the claude code access essential for double checking their responses never worked. Mailed the support team about that and they directed me to team at discord which were not interested in resolving anyone's issues. Each of them directed me to the other. Task review process is also bad, they DO NOT recognise mistakes in the client chat. For one task, I had to scrape a website but the records mentioned by the client vs the actual count differed by thousands. Had a task rejected purely for that reason without consideration of the details mentioned

Ease of sign up and speed of onboarding
My experience with Mindrift has been positive from the beginning. They provide good clear instructional videos oh how to onboard and what they are looking for as well as what to do if you don't see any open roles. It is a fairly quick process and I'm very much looking forward to starting some projects with them.

Personal Experience Preview
I've been on the platform for quite a while now, so I figured I'd share my experience in case it helps anyone trying to get tasking opportunities with Mindrift/Toloka.
First of all, I wouldn’t recommend relying on this as a full-time job, at least based on my current expertise level and contributor level. It’s very much gig-based work. Task availability depends heavily on client demand, so the number of projects can fluctuate a lot. There were times when I was assigned to multiple projects simultaneously, and there were also periods where I had to wait months before getting another opportunity.
That said, it is a legitimate platform that connects contributors with AI training and evaluation projects across different domains.
Projects are handled differently depending on the client. Some are managed directly by the Toloka team, some are fully client-managed, and some are a mix of both. For Toloka-managed projects, contributors usually get access to dedicated Discord channels for support, coordination, announcements, and discussions. For client-managed projects, everything is generally handled directly through the platform itself.
Payments are made twice a week. However, for my country at least, direct payment isn’t available for some reason. I have to receive payments through Upwork, which adds around another five days before the funds are actually released to me.
Overall, project availability can be pretty inconsistent, so try not to get too frustrated if you don’t receive tasks for weeks or even months. I’ve also had some bad experiences with poorly managed projects, including unclear instructions, confusing task setups, delayed support, or sometimes no support at all — even on projects managed by Toloka themselves. But at the same time, I wouldn’t say the platform is bad overall because the experience really depends on the specific team or people managing each project.
