Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 249 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people found product quality poor, with items often appearing cheaply made, not matching website descriptions or images, and running much smaller than expected. The return policy caused frustration, as many had to ship items back to China at considerable cost, often making returns impractical. Some also experienced order problems, such as receiving wrong items, incorrect colors, or significant delivery delays. However, a small portion of people felt satisfied with the quality of specific items like hats, shoes, or certain sweaters, finding them attractive and reasonably priced.

Clever (ish) scam

LOL. i couldn't help laughing at the scam this company is perpetrating, even if it cost me $55. i saw what looked like a nice wool sweater online and bought it. turns out it was just a similar design printed onto a really cheap sweatshirt. returns are impossible--you've got to ship to china. like i say, the scam is clever--but whatever you do, don't buy from the company!

China Company Steals Your Money

China-based products that take over 30 days to receive. Men’s shirts are 2 sizes too small and of poor quality. I threw them in the trash with the tags still on them. Worst retailer I have ever experienced.

If I could 1/2 a star or even Zero star…

If I could 1/2 a star or even Zero star I would give it. I ordered a white pant to attend a wedding. I ordered it 2 weeks before so there is enough time to deliver. They don't tell you when it will be delivered. After 10 days I emailed them to cancel the order but ofcourse they didn't and made a excuse that it has already shipped which it did not as it was delivered 20 days after that day. They also wrote that I can return it after I receive the pants. The pant was of no use to me so I contacted them to return it and the only options are keep the pant and get 30% back or I mail it on my expense all the way back to China.

Received the wrong color shirts

Received the wrong color shirt and the wrong shirt altogether. This mistake was not acknowledged in the email they sent me. If the color I ordered was not available, a substitute should have been offered BEFORE the sale went through. Instead, their offer was for me to keep the shirt and get a 25% refund or 35% off another purchase. (Why would I trust them?) I suggested they send me a prepaid return label and send me the color shirt I ordered.
If the color is and was not available, I will need a FULL refund and a return shipping label to give them ANY credibility as a company.

Terrible quality and deceiving return…

Terrible quality and deceiving return policy. The merchant required me to ship my product back to China to receive a refund. The shipping cost was 2x the cost of the jacket. Do not purchase anything from Milanolegacy.

SCAMMERS!!

These people are ridiculous. Same thing happened to me as all of the things before I order clothing for my mother like $831 worth and they were just shitty quality and were extremely tight for like a small or medium. They were like really really small like for a kid so I called them and said can I return them and exchange them and they sent me an email back saying this.

I am sorry to hear your order is not a 100% fit. Here is what we can do for you:

You keep your initial order although it is a little bit too small AND you receive the perfect size for 50% off the retail price. This way you can gift this product to someone who would be happy with some brand-new clothing and you don't have to go through a lengthy return process to our international warehouse. You save time, and postage fees from the postal service and we can send the replacement immediately without having to wait for your return to arrive.

I have already created the discount code "NEW50" for you, in case you choose this option. Just go to our website, type in your new discount code, and place your order.

We introduced this option to keep our promise to reduce the carbon dioxide emission that our business causes to the environment by 75% by 2025. In order to help us reach that goal, not just for us but for our planet, please consider choosing it. Many customers have made that choice and did not regret it for they can keep all the items and the size exchange arrives very fast.

I am waiting for your reply and wish you a great day!

I got that email. I was so mad and I said what are you guys doing? I sent you an email asking for the address to send the items back to and you have not acquiesced me at all. I said I want the money back. I don’t want the clothes anymore. I just want my money back and I’ll send you the clothes back. Please give me the address. So they send me another email this time they say that they will get me 60% off and I said no so we will see but I’m just gonna contest it on my card and say that it’s a scam because it is ! How do you get them to get the site down like Shopify should know that. They are doing it through Shopify.

Do not make any purchase these people…

Do not make any purchase these people are thieves. I should have read the reviews and I hope you read this before you order anything.

I ordered a jacket and received one that was two sizes to small, with the size tag cut off. I asked for an exchange and was denied. I asked for a refund and was denied. when I read the reviews another person ordered a jacket and received the same two sizes too small with the tag cut off. It could have been the same jacket.
Disgraceful dishonest thieves.

A disgusting, ripoff, fraudster company who advertise quality and send you frayed, damaged, polyester junk

Unless you're interested in clothing of such poor quality you wouldn't use them as a cleaning rag and a company completely lacking in integrity, avoid these scammers.

They advertise high-quality Italian craftsmanship and send you cheap, permanently wrinkled, obviously defective/damaged "clothes." I ordered one blazer after googling for something specific. I had no idea I was ordering from a discount Temu in China. Their website gives the impression of Italian quality and legacy. A few weeks later, I received a blazer balled up inside a plastic bag with a 1" tear along the collar, half a dozen pieces of frayed stitching, uneven hems. Even a cursory glance would've revealed obvious damage. Zero quality control.

I reached out to the company immediately with pictures showing the clear defects and that's when the gaslighting began. It's on me for allowing it to go as far as it did, but I genuinely assumed the breakdown in communication was a language barrier, not intentional fraud. First they offered me a 25% refund or a gift card in the full amount that I paid. Obviously neither of these options worked for me (never ordering from this company again), and I reiterated that I needed a refund, but would be happy to send their merchandise back if they provided a label. In their second response, they asked for pictures (which I had included in my first email). I sent them again. I was then offered a 60% refund, which they referred to as their "final offer." They said if I wanted my money back I would have to mail the item back (to CHINA) but I'd be responsible for the cost of shipping, which is obviously not acceptable. I told them nothing less than a 100% refund of my money would resolve things. In response, they said I was welcome to mail the item back at my own expense, or I could take them up on their generous offer of a 60% refund, completely ignoring all my prior emails. I chose option three - report them as rip-off merchants to my credit card company, get all my money back because they didn't send me what I paid for and attempted to tap-dance out of responsibility, and blast them online.

***Total Scam*** The shirts that were supposed to be linen were cheap polyester, and the XL polo shirts would not fit a 12 year-old. All labels were cut out too. Don't even bother with their customer service (they ignored me), just challenge the charge on your card.

FRAUD ALERT

FRAUD ALERT: Milano Legacy is a fraudulent operation that makes cheap knock-offs in Los Angeles sweatshops that are not the same products as shown in their ads. They photo quality products, but what you receive is a low-Q copy, poorly tailored, often the wrong color, cheap materials instead of the quality fabric the advertise, and with many of the details completely changed. I ordered a jacket that came cut differently, with different buttons and too many of them, in a different color, made of ramie but advertised as cotton, and comes from LA not a warehouse in China. Their game is to sell you a crap copy of what they advertised, then offer you a discount or demand you pay more than it's worth to send it to a place in China - which is NOT where it comes from. Check the mailing label - mine traced back to a sweatshop in LA. When i confronted them, they played games. I am reporting them for fraud to the State Attorney General and anyone with similar experience should also. I am filing in small claims for a full refund because it's illegal to sell something that is not what's advertised - you owe them $0.

This company is a rip off

This company is a rip off. Awful. Less than one star!
I thought I was buying Italian designed shirts of quality. The fabric is flimsy at best and the sizing is 2 sizes too small. Seriously, I almost had to have my wife cut me out of a linen pullover. I am disappointed and mad at myself for not being more vigilant in researching. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The return policy is horrible also. I will probably be out $245 on this!

Ordered 2 shirts for my husband

Ordered 2 shirts for my husband. One was ok and the other would barely fit a 10 year old boy. They offered me 50% off another shirt. Why would I take the chance of getting another shirt that is defective...I will probably cut the shirt up and use it as a rag.

BIG NO

Products look similar to what you ordered but colors and quality are so poor. As others say, no tags, their own home made packaging. Customer service only responded when I disputed the charge with my credit card company. This retailer is a BIG NO for me.
