Absolute Nightmare: Zero Care for Customer Safety!

Absolute nightmare experience with this company!
They sent a damaged 87-pound portable AC, btw not damaged during shipping, the box was OK. Now their customer service is actually demanding that I haul this massive, damaged item to a shipping center to get a replacement credit, before they will ship a new one. I asked them to arrange FedEx pickup, they said NO it's against their corporate policy so they would not. FedEx driver left the giant box outside my garage because it was too heavy for them to bring to the door. I have a bad back and physically cannot lift, move, or transport an 87-pound box. Expecting a customer to risk severe physical injury to return a damaged item is completely unacceptable, unsafe, and shows zero care for customer safety. Save yourself the stress and avoid this business at all costs!

Most appliances won't last 3 years

I purchased a Midea Convertible 21-cu ft Garage Ready Frost-free Upright Freezer for $900 Dec 26, 2023. On Aug 20, 2026 the compressor failed. I got a quote of $400 - $1,000 to replace it. An expensive appliance like this should last at least 5 years, not less than 3 years. Customer service said it is out of warranty and there's nothing they will do. Don't buy Midea!
