The Microsoft Scam

You think that Scams are initiated in far distant places, wrong I have been scammed in the UK by Microsoft in purchasing their Microsoft 365 or Outlook.
For 2023 and 2024 I purchased Microsoft 365 or Outlook on an Annual subscription but have also been charged a monthly subscription.
It did not matter how many times you try to advise them of the error the product stops working and you are forced to renew the monthly subscription if you need to use any of the component parts.
What makes matters worse they have no interest in supporting the product you have paid TWICE for, their is no Support number other than a US free phone number.
It is amazing that a Company with all their airs and graces do not support their customers just Scam them.
Shame on you Microsoft.

Get rid of microsoft, go fully open source.

Everyone unhappy with microsoft must go fully open source. I have a windows 10 but I use open source for writing documents and so on. Open Office is really good. What happens though is Microsoft intervenes when i am writing and crahses the document with unsaved work as wanting me to buy their shit. They are indeed criminals. I will soon buy a laptop with no Microsoft at all and install everything open source, including the operating system. Those guys worked for a reason. And so I will get rid of the criminal microsoft from my life forever. Thanks there is open source for everything, Gimp, Inskape, so on.

Worse then Royal Mail

Should be zero stars. Buy a device from them and when it’s breaks just after the warranty has ended by like 16 days you can’t get a hold of them unless you say you can’t pay for a product then out of now where you can get a call back within a minute. I Spent 22 minutes on the phone to someone of which the first 8 minutes is what I actually spoke to someone and then I was put on hold for the rest of the call, to only be disconnected and not hear back from anyone.

Awful for customer service

Awful for customer service. I'm being overcharged. I'm paying for Microsoft Office three times a month, 6.99, 7.99 and 14.99. After just paying all three now I have an email saying that it's overdue. I've overpaid all year and I can't contact anyone. I've phoned and it just says go online and hangs up. I go online and it's just links to help pages. So they are taking money taking money taking money and I can't speak to anyone by phone, email about it at all.

harrasment at end of Microsoft contarct…

At the end of my contract with Microsoft I did not renew the contract as I cant afford it and don't need it, since then, Microsoft has taken control of my PC and I am unable to access my files/Documents, I cannot access the various social media sites that I belong too. Each time I go to a files etc on my system an advert comes up from Microsoft stopping me accessing my files to amend them telling me my contract needs renewing and it will not allow me to print anything or activate any thing. To me this is Harassment and a criminal act under UK law sect 58 of the criminal justices act under threats and harassment. Microsoft is lacking in common decency and to get your money they harass you. Well, I would rather dump my PC than give into Microsoft. I am considering informing the [FCA] [FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY OMBUDSMAN] . Has any one got any tips how to get Microsoft off my system. God be with you all

OneDrive is an absolute nightmare.

OneDrive is an absolute nightmare.

It worked fine for about a year for me then inexplicably would not upload files, would automatically rename them to nonsense.

I've been through tech support multiple times who are unable to help and advise to wait for a software update.

I've lost work. I've lost days of my life trying to fix this rubbish. My laptop is now completely useless for work.

I've tried removing OneDrive (not possible). Reinstalling windows. Deleting everything from OneDrive. Making a new account. It's insane how baked in this is.

Unbelievably disappointed with MS on this.

Dreadful customer services

Dreadful customer services. I phoned their helpline and got an automated response system, which refused to speak to me when I said I had a problem with my account and pointed me to an online website. I tried phoning back but got shut out of the system straight away and directed to the online site. I went to that site, where they promised to phone me back in 11 minutes. They did, and then put me on hold! 13 minutes now!
I have had the same problem with passwords as another user has reported. I also get misdirected to sign in under my university email account when I try to log in from a page I have accessed under my personal email. It is so frustrating and upsetting. They are a huge monopoly and clearly do not care about customers. I am currently being charged for two accounts and just want to know why! But it seems you cannot speak to a person.

Worst automated system when calling…

Worst automated system when calling their cust9mer services line. You can only get to speak to a person if you say you’re having difficulties buying something. I have cancelled all of my subscriptions, see to spend hundreds of pounds with them a year, I will be looking for an alternative service and console. This is not accessible for a lot of people, it’s a greedy and discriminatory system. Stay away!

THE WORST COMPANY!!!

Bought a refurbished Series S for my daughter's birthday, it arrived and was faulty, kept freezing and crashing, took 3 days of calls to acknowledge a replacement, instead a get a UPS return label so I returned it, the parcel was delivered to there returns facility and then went missing for 16 days, they supposedly found the parcel after 16 days but claim the contents are missing and now refuse to refund the £167.99.

Single handedly THE WORST company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, I'm now fighting for my money back.

My HP ENVY 17 Laptop is not restarting…

My HP ENVY 17 Laptop is not restarting due to Microsoft trying to update Windows 11 on Windows10 Laptop of 2018 Purchase.
And hence now not working since last week. Trying to resolve the issue by clicking on Advance options but then asking for Admin password.
No help from Microsoft Team. Technical staff also don't know anything. I went into the Bios Setting and literally changed the Administrator password but still nothing can be done.
It is my loved Laptop and all my files are saved in it so can't even afford to lose anything. Can't do any work as no joy in using a spare laptop.
Today also I have sent them so many messages but no one has come onlne or phone me.

REVENUE OVER INTEGRITY

Microsoft are actively receiving monies from scammers for advertising scam web sites and scam equipment.
A specific example that has got me hot under the collar is a Company called DOTMALLS, who are promoting a smart watch, TRACK PRO 2.0, which they claim:
can continuously monitor blood glucose - LIE
is on sale at Amazon -LIE
has over 1 million endorsements -LIE

There are other equally non-credible offerings being advertised by Microsoft, who clearly have no integrity, and pursue revenue to the exclusion of all else.
