I bought a wristband 6 months ago and despite being 'waterproof' it failed on the second day of swimming with it. I had a long e mail correspondence with them but they insisted on me providing the serial number before they could help despite pictures and proof of purchase. It is almost impossible to read the serial number on the wristband and despite taking pictures of the back of the watch and blowing them up it is a very faint imprint. I sent them the best picture I could take and asked them to find the serial number but the response was 'we can't read it - please take a better picture.' They ignored my request for money back or replacement. Eventually I gave up and went back to Amazon who were very helpful and resolved the issue immediately. If you buy from these people write the serial number somewhere safe but don't expect them to be helpful!
Ordered my phone 12days ago, still there is no indication if the delivery to my home is gonna happen or not. They delivered to a pickup shop instead.
While raising this to XiAomi, instead of taking the responsibility they are asking me to coordinate with delivery company directly. Is this something a customer should expect?
Also while raising to their team they said they can refund after 10-15 workings days and offered me a XiAomi coupon of 20£. Is this something fair? Are you still expecting that I gonna buy your products in future (as you are offering coupons).
I strongly think, it is not in top mobile and the reason is quite simple.
Had a Xiaomi band 7 pro watch. The chip kept coming out the back of the watch and stopped holding a charge.
Contacted customer service as I'd had the watch for 21 months and was advised still under warranty.
Sent back in prepaid jiffy envelope that was sent to me and received a brand new watch. Excellent customer service.
My husband and I both have Xiaomi/Mi mobiles and fantastic phones with no problems
Faulty robot vacuum cleaner, useless service.
I have a Poco X3, had it for a couple of years now, what the phone can do is impressive but the reliability of the phone is very poor, first problem, the on off button became red hot to touch, so much so it burnt my finger, sent back for repair, came back fixed, next problem, the battery swelled up and split out of the back, sent back for repair, next problem, the phone it self started to act up, not opening apps and getting more frequent as in every other time the phone was unlocked I would have to reboot to get anything to open, did a uninstall and reinstall of everything, still no good, did a factory reset and still no good, so I have given up with the phone,I'm now using a old huawei p30 pro that works a treat, I wouldn't buy another phone from Xiaomi or one of its other brands, I've never had a phone with so many faults, I do have a Xiaomi tablet and very happy with that but sadly your phone reliability is poor.
My experience with Xiaomi serves as a clear warning: do not trust Xiaomi, and by extension, do not purchase from Xiaomi. The company's products reflect its values, which, based on my interactions, demonstrate a complete disregard for honesty and professionalism. In my case, they deliberately misled me, claiming it would take 10 days to update their cloud servers so I could regain access to my personal data. This claim was absurd and easily disproved using open-source networking tools, and third party investigation involved which confirmed that there were no issues with Xiaomi's servers during that time.Xiaomi’s excuse was nothing more than a blatant lie, making them look foolish and untrustworthy. This behavior extends to their products, which, being a representation of the company, do not offer any real value. If a company can't be trusted to provide truthful support, how can you trust the products they sell?In fact, you should never trust this company—not with your money, and certainly not with your personal data. Do not dare to store any personal data with Xiaomi. The people behind Xiaomi have clearly shown that they simply don’t care about you or your concerns. Their actions have proven that they cannot be trusted at all. Through misleading information and deceptive excuses, they have demonstrated themselves to be unreliable and dishonest.I am a living example of their ill attitude and complete disregard for customer trust. The bottom line is clear: do not trust or purchase from Xiaomi. Their products, just like their company values, are worthless due to the dishonesty and incompetence I experienced firsthand.
Superb mobile..a Redmi Note 13
I purchased a Redmi Note 13 as a replacement for a Samsung mobile whose battery, after much use,was on the wain.
This Redmi Note 13 was a great surprise,it even came with a superb battery charger and a case in dark grey.OK it is seemingly a not the latest model with not too many
whistles and bells, but copes superbly with every day use.
I bought it in one of Xiaomi's instant sales.Fantastic Buy.
extremely well in every day use.
Won't be using again - The links to tracking didn't work, and when I eventually got through to a "human" on their chat, was given two tracking numbers which didn't work on the DPD website - and if I'd known that they were using DPD for delivery I would have not ordered in the first place as their only delivery driver to this area asks customers if they are having drugs delivered!!
They shamelessly avoid providing Consumer Law Coverage!
I have been contacting them for weeks now and they provide contradictory answers and when I asked them to provide me a free repair after 2 years, which is still covered under UK Consumer Law they say they do not do that!!! They are registered in the UK so they need to cover it!
I bought my POCO F3 direct from website 3 years ago. Best phone I've ever owned and paid only £309. Delivered in 3 days. No issues whatsoever so I've not needed any support but communication as to delivery but solid. I couldn't fault it. Now this was 3 years ago, and was thinking of latest model but I'm shocked at these reviews considering my experience.
There customer service is shocking the phones I have had have been ok but when you need help you learn why there cheaper just pay the money and buy better just for the customer service alone
Headquartered in China, with very limited UK support.
Definitely spend your money elsewhere!
Worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time. Bought a mi band pro 7 direct from them just under a year ago and the watch has recently given up the ghost. This is now the second watch I’ve had with them that’s broken but at least this time it’s still in warranty.
That said I’m not sure it will be by the time the process may return. So far I’ve sent about seven emails 2 forms and a phone call yet im no closer to getting the promised return postage labels. Instead they seem to have a tactic of waiting 24 to 36 hours to respond then they ask you to either resend what you’ve already sent or they ask you for something else they didn’t need yesterday. Having bought the watch from them direct they already have this information as well as the invoice, order number and serial number I sent them originally. Today they asked for that again and another eight pieces of I do they already have as well as three photographs of the watch. I’m meant to send one photo with the screen on which will be difficult as, as I have already explained to them the watch is completely dead so there is no way to switch the screen on.
All I want is a label so I can return it so they can fix it. It’s almost like they are trying to ru down the remaining 366 days left on the warranty.
The watch didn’t work as advertised either in as much as you had to sync it manually every day if you have an iPhone so it’s pretty useless at letting you know of any calls or messages which is half the reason I bought it.
One final piece of hilarity is that today’s lengthy request took the time to also point out that repairs takes 5 days and postage is 10 to 15 working days. Who knew tortoises delivered watches. No doubt that 15 working days each way as well. On top of that the email also said that water damage isn’t covered by the warranty even though the watch has a swimming activity counter and is waterproof to 50 metres.
Save yourself the frustration and buy from someone who either makes products which last more than a year or who values their customers.
Xiomi Redmi 4 tracker
Doesn’t record resting calories burnt, doesn’t record all steps, misses them all the time. To be fair they sent me a new one but that was just the same. Always check the reviews
Basically it’s a rubbish tracker that is way out
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I waited for a phone to come back in stock and ordered it directly from their website.
It's been over a month and nothing. They've taken my money but not delivered my parcel after claiming there was an error in the delivery on DPD's side.
Reading on here I'm not the only one and I still don't have my phone. Like everyone's said each customer service agent is useless saying there is no manager available so you have no options.
Desperately wanted the phone but now I see the whole company is a scam.
Order a phone 2 weeks ago. I contacted them the first day after they dispatched the phone because DPD tracking was saying will be returned to Xiaomi. That's now a week ago and the tracking is still saying the same. I contacted Xiaomi via phone and email. Answer is always we are waiting for feedback. So instead of sending me a new device for a clearly lost parcel they are doing nothing. I will contact my Bank now to get the money back.
Ordered smart bands directly from their website. DPD did not delivered (now I wonder if DPD ever actually got my parcel). Xiaomi for 3 weeks organised re-delivery and after another week informed me that product is out of stock (the same product which, according to previous information, has been in the parcel addressed to me for last 3 weeks) and will get refund. Month lost. Worst customer service ever (boots or just copy-paste formulas). Do not recommend.
Worst company I've ever dealt with, do not buy from them.
I received a despatched email 3 weeks ago but still yet to receive my order. It's not been picked up by the courier and tracking hasn't moved.
I've had numerous emails back and forth but don't get answers to any questions. All they say is that it's been escalated but nothing else. This is their continual response for the last 3 weeks.
They won't share any details with my on actions they've taken it when I can expect to receive a meaningful update. I'm now having to use a broken old phone because I'm yet to receive this one and I can't order another because I don't trust that I'm going to get my money back.
It's come to the point where I've had to raise with trading standards as their service is so poor. Annoyingly I have to wait 30 days before I can request a chargeback through my payment provider.
Never have I had customer service as bad as this. I've even raised a formal complaint and have a reference number but they're ignoring this as well.
Was a great company 6 years ago, now it's just another money hungry, fraudulent, corporate business.
Product quality testing does not exist at Xiaomi anymore. Your product will rapidly degrade and randomly acquire hardware faults upon a software update.
Refused to repair my phone despite the fault being VERY common among Mi11 users, the fault is actually legally provable in court due to the fact there's literally thousands of customers with the same issue and hundreds of the faulty phones on ebay, thereby legally proving Xiaomi is responsible for all repairs with the faults due to their lack of product quality testing, but they would rather double down and tell you it's out of warranty so it can't be repaired.
Scam company that wont repair your phone under the Consumer Rights Act. Paid to have it repaired for a common hardware fault, 11 months later it now has the blurry camera fault and they're asking £130 to fix it...
If you are a Mi11 user with the motherboard/wifi/bt chip or camera fault, I highly suggest you report Xiaomi to UK Trading Standards for their malpractice and failure to follow the Consumer Protection Laws.
STAY AWAY, get a google or vivo phone.
Bought a Xiaomi 13tpro in the official store in Westfield mall in London UK less than a year ago. Phone got some issues with battery and camera recently so I've tried to activate the 2 year international warranty that the store provided me after sale. That store UK closed in the meantime, (suddenly?) and as far I'm aware is the only one In the country. The salesman in the official store told that If I had any issue I should contact Xiaomi via chat line and activate the warranty via there. He even told me I could use that warranty if I was in Portugal Spain France etc., cause was a international warranty. I've even paid extra to get that type of warranty. To my surprise I contacted the chat line, and they couldn't find my IMEI in the warranty system. They said that I should contact the store and work with them what happened, so they refused to repair my phone and leave me to repair at my own costs in a local repair point.
My point is, have i bought a fake phone in the original store? Was all a scam and that's why the store closed suddenly? The store is Closed for good, and is the only one in UK. Should I fly to another country and visit a shop to repair my phone? This is beyond belief.
According to EU or UK laws, I have the right of 1 to 2 years warranty, so this is clearly I breach of contract.
