Terrible quality, purchased a chair that we barely used. Found out less than a year later the metal was rusted and the welding had been done poorly. The frame is now broken and unstable rending the item useless. Avoid at all cost. Also all reviews are from people given the item for free or fake to make the products seem good value and popular.

they have sold the same furniture on the SAME website (wayfair) for 2 completely different prices!

Great service from beginning to end. Not a long process from order to delivery. All our requests were responded to immediately. Accurate delivery time. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The suite looks great. Thoroughly recommended.

I recently purchased an armchair, matching footstool and cushions from this company. They were great to deal with, the items were so well made, great quality and price also the attention to detail. I love the fact that the pattern matched even on the footstool, great eye for detail by whoever made them. The items were made and delivered within 2 weeks and delivered free of charge.

I would like to say a big thank you to Lee, Kyle and the team at Metro furniture for an excellent job on our 3 piece leather suite. Really pleased with the result. First class service and value for money. Would highly recommend their work.

Unfortunately I have had similar experiences to other reviewers. I ordered an item that was ‘in stock’, noting the ‘same day dispatch’ pledge on the website. I followed up with an email after one week (no reply) and a phone call a few days later. To their credit, I did get a call back several hours after leaving a voicemail and the item was dispatched at that time (just shy of two weeks later). Payment had been taken at the time of ordering.

I will never ever use Metro Furniture again, their service is non existent. I ordered a coffee table over two weeks ago. I emailed them after around 10 days as I’d heard nothing and got no reply. I called them a few days later and was told that they would have to check if it was in stock. It took them a day to get back to me to tell me it wasn’t in stock and they didn’t know when they could get one. How is it possible for a company to ’sell’ something that doesn’t exist and take the money from my credit card on the same day. They say they will refund me straight away... but it could take up to three days! Shocking non existent service 😕
Follow up... Metro Furniture are still saying it is in stock!

Ordered a small media unit £409 just over a week ago....Still no confirmation email and still no media unit?
I have tried calling but no answer?? The website keeps crashing and you cant login to check status of order. I
Before I ordered it did clearly state 'We aim to deliver within the week, unless overseas' I'm in the UK!!
What is going on!!?

Poor quality and terrible customer service. Ordered 12 office chairs from Metro Furniture in December last year. Realised one of the chairs was broken and unusable, so emailed and sent pictures. I was told another chair would be sent. Weeks went by and all my emails were ignored until finally *half* of a chair shows up. After myself and everyone in my office trying to replace the broken part of the chair ourselves, and even getting a professional handy man to try, we realised it was impossible.

I called Metro Furniture to ask for help, and they said one of their drivers would be in London the following week and would fix the chair for us. A week goes by and no one shows up, so I call again. I'm told the same thing again, a driver will be in London next week and will fix it for us. And yet another week goes by (it's March by this point!!) so I try one more time, am told the same thing, and of course no one shows.

For the last week I have been trying to get a refund, but every time I call I am told they will "look into it" and call me right back, but no one ever calls back. Dozens of emails have gone ignored. This is my last-ditch attempt to get a response from them. Embarrassingly bad that four months on this is still unresolved. We spent £1400 at Metro Furniture and will certainly never use them again.

I purchased one fo the Eames High-backed Office Chairs in December 2013 for use in a home office, but by February 2016 (a little of 2 years) the chair was essentially detached from its base/tilt mechanism rendering it useless. I travel a lot for work so the chair was not used full time and hence I would have expected it to last longer - this was not wear an tear but compelte mechanical failiure!

Upon raising the point with Metro furntiture the inital reponse was helpful in that I was asked for phots of what had happened and assure that somebody would review them. It turns out that this was a complete waste of my time, since the final response, provided via another member of staff, from the manager was that the chairs only come with a 1 year warranty and hence the could not help me futher. I obvioulsy challenged this point, arguing that a chair should last longer under home office oncidtions, and was assured the manager would call me. He never returned my calls.

My advice would be that if you are purchsing anything from Metro Furniture do so under the knowledge it is likely low quality, will have limited longevity and you'll have no come back in the event it fails. Having given up with Metro Furntiture I've now purchased a replacemetn chair complete with a Lifetime Warranty.

I purchased 2 Eames style tables on line via eBay. Both items arrived very quickly but unfortunately the outer packaging on one item had been printed by the manufacturer showing the wrong colour.
Without any quibble, the owner of the business called me personally and dealt with a replacement immediately and up-graded my delivery to a day that suited me.
Speaking to a 'real' person was a luxury in itself and the polite manner in which the problem was handled was second to none.
Both products are great in style and quality and represent fantastic value. I would highly recommend this company and would buy again without hesitation.

Purchased 6 of these chairs recently. There is a problem with the cross fixing of the legs. This only becomes apparent with use. They work loose and become unstable. Informed Metrofurniture who initially replied that they would look into problem. Since then there has been no response and subsequent emails I have sent have been ignored.

I recently bought four of these leather chairs and I must say my wife and I found them to be excellent value for money and Metrofurniture delivered them swiftly and safely. We were a little concerned about our rough kitchen tiles causing undue wear on the plastic feet of the chairs and raised this with the company. They could not have been more helpful. In fact they are sending us two complete sets of spare feet so that the long life of the chairs is assured and are charging us nothing for this kindness. One could not wish for better after sales service. I highly recommend Metrofurniture based on this experience.

Nothing more to say, found what I wanted the right price on the metro website and it was delivered the very next day.

I was recently kitting out my new office and Simon and Metro was fantastic. Great products, great prices and delivered same day as we are local. Highly recommended.
