Poor customer service

Poor customer service, after taking money, they will keep on asking extra documents by email. Their staff even not completing full application but will take your money.

The biggest mistake i made was…

The biggest mistake i made was purchasing Metlife/Mednet insurance for my wife. Actually i purchase Metlife but later got insurance card from Mednet then found out they are the partners.
First I took my wife to doctor and ot was showng 6 months waiting period on maternity but there was nothing mention like this on my contract. after waiting for 10 days and several emails they said it was mistake from there side so they remove that but i already spend money in private clinic that they are not giving in reimbursement.
Secondly, All the clinic and hospitals list mention in their network list half of them don't cover mednet and what is funny thing I call Aster qusais about coverage they said my insurance has condition that i can only go to Aster from 10pm to 8 am. MashaAllah now i have to get sick according to this time. and nothing mentioned on policy.
Thirdly They have some problems of Tariffs with some clinics, Yesterday on 12-06-2025 I took my wife to one clinic for Gyne , consultation was covered Doctor advised BETA HCG test and that I found out that clinic have tariff issue with Mednet and because of there tariff issues i have to take my pregnant wife to another clinic for this blood test.
Small conversation through email taking 8 days and to resolve any issue.
NOT RECOMENDED THIS INSURANCE

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever! I initially thought this is a good insurance but i got into a very horrible experience! Their agent scammed me feeding wrong information and when the claim was denied due to it the company was not taking accountability and responsilbility for it! Lost 4k aed sadly for an insurance that is meant to help sustain medical bills and give peace of mind but instead brought us to a nightmare and further delay the medical needs. Complaint handling was no use, can't refund a 2 month old policy which was clearly sold in misleading conduct. Very sad for such a big company with no accountability!

MetLife was the worst investment I ever…

MetLife was the worst investment I ever did. I had three policies with them wealth builder and life insurance and disability. Turned out their agents are not monitored and the guy sold me two over lapping policies. Second biggest scam is their wealth builder program when I signed up they told me and share documents that within 5 years worst case will be breaking even my investment then I start making money. Over 5 years I lost 30% of my principle plus they changed me with almost 1000$ per year for “funds management “ which turned out they never managed anything and when I called they said you can use the app and change your investment portfolio. Same period o invested on my own in the stock market and I made almost 20% on principle. A side note I’m not a pro. Investor by any means. My recommendation stay away and don’t let their agent sugar coat the scam.

I will never recommend MetLife Insurance Company to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not value their customers' time or concerns. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with their lack of professionalism and care.

If I could give negative stars I would…

If I could give negative stars I would give to Metlife UAE. The Customer Care Service is pathetic. They cheat with money and what not. Unfortunately I can't do anything since the employer provides Metlife insurance only . It's really frustrating the only reason I might switch the employer is because of the shitty insurance company

This company is the worst insurance…

This company is the worst insurance company ever, and they are big scammers. Please don’t believe them. At the start, they will trick you into investing in that stupid insurance, and in the end, you will lose all your money. I’ve lost about 2k AED in this, and every time I put a big amount in my Mashreq account, the useless people debit it. They don’t understand how much I'm suffering to get that money. They should know there's no free money in Dubai, so if you don’t work for it, you won’t survive. Now, I'm stressed with this. I've called them to cancel it and refund my money, and they asked me to contact my bank, which is Stupid Mashreq. Mashreq customer service is as useless as the MetLife customer service, and what pains me the most is the stupid customer service at Mashreq is also asking me to contact my insurance company for cancellation and refunding my money. They are both useless companies that I don’t trust, and I will never trust them with my money again. Please DON’T INVEST IN ANY STUPID METLIFE INSURANCE BECAUSE IT'S A SCAM.

MetLife’s Wealth Builder is a bad investment

MetLife’s a bad investment. It’s a scam. They show you illustration/ sample completion of what your payments will look like at the end of the payment period and all looks good and worthy. NOT at all in reality.

I’ve invested a total of $30k into MetLife’s Wealth builder offering back in 2017.
We paid for it for 5 years.
Come 2022, when the $30k’s cash value is only at around $27,500!
End of 2023, it’s only 28,200! Still negative!
If you’ll look at it, they’ve had our complete 30k for the past 1 year and most likely using it on a lucrative investment and making good interest for themselves.

MetLife are a total scammers!
I don’t know how I have to wait before I can ge the actual 30k back.

Was contacted by a shady rep from FAB…

Was contacted by a shady rep from FAB bank and tricked into buying a payback program for my credit card. The rep did not explain that a life insurance policy from this company would be attached. Then, I saw a charge of 4913 dirhams was charged to my credit card for a "life insurance" policy. I didn't know about this and pleaded with the bank to cancel it. They ghosted me and strung me along without a resolution from Jan till now, in late April. I tried calling the Metlife company directly to cancel the policy and guess what they said? My policy can ONLY be cancelled by the bank. So, the rep from Met life said he will make a complaint on my behalf....I wonder if I'll ever hear anything back? Do yourself a favor, and don't trust.

Horrible customer service and complaint resolution

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service and complaint resolution from Metlife. Had an IBP for education and I should have received the payout last Sept. It is more than 3 months I’m battling to get my money. They lied through their teeth and I have so far lost EU 3000 in the exchange rate due to their incompetence and delay in paying. They also cannot pay in Euro but ask the customer for the currency of their bank account. No manager will reply to your emails. Stay away from them.

Lack of transparency

They sell products (insurance linked investments) that do not fully disclose their commissions and fees. These are mis-sold to unsuspecting consumers who are locked in for YEARS.

Bad Investment

I have invested with this company through my bank Emirates NBD they introduced to me a program called the Wealth Builder for 10 years, each month you need to contribute at least USD 2000 and the account will grow and after 2 years you can withdraw partial payments, Unfortunately this never happened and the policy went down and there is no withdraw partially possibility from the value account.
you will only withdraw from the accumulation account, the terms and conditions of the policy are not clear and none will explain to you anything.

Please if you need more information please call me on this number +971504598742
