I really love these socks and they are perfect however I would love to eventually see a more expensive option that uses a more premium woven fabric because they rip easily.

Excellent customer service, superior product
The original socks I ordered were out of stock but I received an email from Henry, with possible solutions. Shipment was fast (much faster than here in the US) My daughter has played 2 games so far in them and loves them. I love that we finally have something that will give the top of her foot a little more protection, helping to keep her injury free for the sport she loves.

Alicia, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Your excellent review highlights exactly why Metasox were invented.
I am so happy to hear your daughter loves wearing my product and hopefully Metasox help protect her feet from metatarsal injuries now and in the future.
As cleats (football boots) get thinner and lighter, they add very little top of the foot protection. Wearing Metasox can help protect against serious foot injuries especially at grassroots level.
Henry.
Great product
Great product, great service.
Sizes are a bit small so go large if you’re usually medium.

Hello Marico, thank you for your great review. We have found that the Classic Metasox are tighter than the Elite as they are slightly thicker which some players prefer. I would recommend the Elite if you prefer a looser fit.

Thanks for your feedback. As you may (or many not be aware) Metasox USP is our protective ‘pad’ which is a special silicon composition 3 millimetres thick. After testing through Loughborough University it was necessary to make the pad this thick to ensure we stand by our protective qualities. We also know that every millimetre makes the space in the boot ‘tighter’ which is why we’ve made the pad as thin/flexible as possible.
In terms of footwear we try to ensure Metasox complements whichever boot our customers wear. However, there are a number of boots on the market such as Nike Mercurials and Adidas X were given the tighter nature of fit, you may need to size up half a size to allow Metasox to fit well or wear many styles of boots that have no problem with Metasox.
We appreciate your feedback and we will make it clearer on our website to provide this information so you can make the most informed decision possible before committing to buy.
